  Good day TPC'ers. Ask ko lang if may mabibili ba ako na lens with 70mm-up para sa nikon d40 na ang price is 5k below? Wala kasi akong idea eh. Please advise. Thanks and more power!

  Sir darktech okay ba 50mm 1.8 for d40? madali ba sya i focus? and okay ba sya for portrait shot? nu po ba gamit mo lens for protrait? I can't decide whigh one to buy between 50mm, 55-200mm, or sb600 (ipon mode). Your input will greatly help. I'm using d40. TIA

  Yep but ung budget mo na 5k is for G only... meaning hindi sya mag AF sa D40.. you'll have to use the Lens on Manual Mode

  Thanks sir! So ano po ang advise nyo? Magkano ang dapat na budget for a new or second hand lens? At anong model na din po ng lens yun?

  Nikkor 70-300 AF G! or D This is a cheap telephoto lens. Manual lang siya for D40 since walang motor itong lens. I have one and from my usage, I can say that you have to set the aperture to f/8 to produce sharp images. Vignette is evident in f/5.6. Google and look for more reviews in the net. Nonetheless, a good (not great) lens to have until meron ng pera for a better one. HEHE

  look for the Nikon AF-S 55-200mm. swak sa D40 yan. you can find a second0hand unit for around 8.5 to 9k. for a few hundred pesos more, second-hand Sigma 70-300mm pwede din, as loong as yung HSM yung makuha mo.
