mas maganda ang 9300M G sa 3450, kaso di maganda procie ng asus N10J (atom core)...
@Pleasing05. sir, can you please elaborate further if there's a significant difference between the processor of asus n10j vs. that of msi ex400? my primary needs are basically ms office (mainly excel) and would watch video's thru internet or dvd movies (I have external dvd). no problem with me on the weight but asus is indeed very portable (which is useful if i hop from internet cafe's or hotspots) compared with the 14-inches msi. my possible gripe on asus might be the 10-inch size of the screen which might not be suitable as i'm a heavy excel user.

3Dmark06 score
Geforce 9300M G ---> 1958
ATI HD3450 ---> 1978
from
<click here for link>
3Dmark06 score
Intel Atom Processor 477
Intel DualCore T3200 > 1470*
Intel Core2Duo T5750 ***
* (based sa score ng T2390, presumed na stronger ang T3200 sa T2390)
** (no score, pero expect it to be faster than T3200)
Price:
Asus N10J P39500.00 (not latest)
MSI EX400 T3200 P28000.00 (latest)
MSI EX400 T5750 P33000.00 (latest)
sa tatlong schemes of rating, MSI EX400 >>> Asus N10J. Pero the tables will turn whe I mention:
Battery Life
MSI EX400 2 hours MAX
very portable
my possible gripe on asus might be the 10-inch size of the screen which might not be suitable as i'm a heavy excel user.
now eto ang problem.
Pero it will not slow down office apps and video streaming while it is running.
Now kung gusto mo ng headroom kung saka sakaling in the near future eh mag CAD ka or video editing, mag ex400 ka.
verdict:
Performance, price ---> MSI EX400
Mobility, compact -----> Asus N10J
the choice is yours mate, hope I had helped :)

sir Pleasing05, thank you po for the explanation provided. mahal pala ang asus n10j. akala ko mga 32k lang and with windows xp home na. whereas ang msi ex-400 dual-core yata na 28k or 29k wala pang os.
anyway, thanks again. i'll continue my research and nakakatulong yung write-up po ninyo.

thanks for the inputs. it's very helpful although at this point i've haven't decided yet between the two. I have higher preference for battery life; however, i now understand dual-core processor is superior than atom.

64-bit x86 Extension (AMD64, Intel64) SUPPORTED
tapos meron ding
Instruction Set: x86, x86-64, MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3, SSSE3

sa start up lang ba? kung sa start up lang slightly normal sya, yun yung fan ng procie pag medyo nakatabingi ang laptop. mawawala din after a few secs pag naload na windows. pero kung nagpepersist pa rin, itapat mo yung tenga mo sa laptop and pakinggan kung san nanggagaling ang tunog. kung sa right hand side hdd yan.
Boss, ito po bang ex400 natin ay x64/64bit supported?..
hmm nagkarun ako ng impression na almost all dual core released are 64 bit supported. not sure kung true, pero more likely na ang T3200 eh 64 bit compatible.
EDIT:
Catalyst 9.3 out 2 weeks ago. sa mga gustong mag update:
kopyahin nyo dito yung kelangan ilagay sa inf files:
<click here for link>
tapos eto instructions
<click here for link>
might go back sa catalyst 9.1 pag di maganda naging resulta ng 3dmark06
another edit:
1651 in 3dmark06. malaki improvement over 9.2 sa games. recommend to uppdate to 9.3

Hi guys!
I was installing an apps that required a driver to be installed. While installing,biglang nasira yung graphics ng screen ko. Naging mga horizontal bars na uneven and color green,white,red,and a few more I can't remember. And nag-hang na sya. Namatay na pati light ng DVD drive. Ni restart ko gamit yung power button. Kaso windows not loading properly na. Kahit yung safe mode ayaw,or yung checkup and fix ayaw na din tumuloy. Hayz... Later, I'm giving it to my BF to have him fix it for me. And I'm going to ask him to install apps for me na din. Kainis talga. :(

Guys found out na our MSi ex400 ay 64bit capable..
thanks for the info bro! how did you find out?
@ midnite sun
have you tried to reformat? baka random OS error lang or something, or probably incompatible sa os. kung vista yan, programs like alcohol na old versions screw up the OS.

@ midnite
gawin mo, start mo 3 or 4 times? king ayaw tanggal battery, wait for 1 min, then start uli, me lalabas na repair windows or something. eventually mag start din yan.
pag nag start, remove alcohol immediately...
also, alcohol versions 1.9.8.7421 is already vista compatible.

yung check-up and fix ata yung sinasabi mo?
yep i tried doing the start then i got that screen about check-up and fix more than 4x already. after choosing the check-up and fix option a number of times, it just gives me a blank screen. not a blue screen... just a blank one. enwi, i'll try the battery thing.
i hope i fix this soon. thanks for the tip.
