  You can do it on your broken AAO.
  
  You can also try to replace the SSD with a 1.8-inch ZIF HDD. Some guys here (myself included) have tried this mod and it works quite well.

  ask ko lang un AAO110 ko running on Linux pag mga 50% na lang un battery namamatay na lang bigla ung display at kelangan ko pang i press and hold un power button para ma totally mamatay tapos saksak ko na un charger tapos gagana na ulit. ano kaya problema nito?

  seriously,, i think there's just a problem with your settings bro, try checking your power settings. maybe it's set to go to sleep once the battery reaches 50%.

  ibinalik ko lang sya sa linux kasi un mom ko gagamit. since para lang naman sa word processing at internet nya gagamitin so nireformat ko para mas simple gamitin.
  
  nacheck ko na un and ok naman sa 5% na nga sya before going to sleep. and updated naman un bios nya. nun windows sya ok naman ng binalik ko lang sa linux parang nagloloko na un battery.

  Guys , suddenly yun aao ko garalgal yun sounds sa music , at bigla one day bumagal yun boot up samantalang before 2-3 mins lang boot up niya, ano kaya ang possible cause neto? virus? or yun mismong aao

  yung isang 2nd hand na acer ko e garalgal rin yung boot up na sound pero pag music ok lang. do a scandisk to see if there are problems. also try booting using ubuntu on a usb disk so you can test everything.

  Hi! meron ba ba kayong marerecommend na nagpapalit ng hdd and nagbeneta ng hdd dito sa 8gb model na to? matagal na din kasi sira to eh nagboboot na lang ako ng linux sa usb para lang magamit tong laptop na to...TY...:)

  May nagbebenta ng 1.8 inch ZIF hard drives dito sa TPC.
  Mag-Item search ka, ang keyword ay: ZIF.
  
  PM nyo si sir jaycee1025 tungkol sa pag-install ng HDD sa Aspire One.

  @all who modded with zif drive
  ask ko lang po, ano pong specific model/make ng zif drive from doods888 ang nagwowork? been trying to mod mine with a travelstar hdd (30Gb) from doods888 pero hindi sya madetect? tried updating and even downgrading my bios, tried this on 2 units already. Working naman yung hdd pag sa usb adapter gamit? any recommended model thats sure to work? TIA.

  contact doods. ask for a different model since there are incompatibilities. maiintindihan naman nya. I think i got a hitachi from him.

  Mine's a hitachi drive as far as i remember.
  
  Sir, nasubukan nyo nang i-sandpaper yung clear blue plastic dun sa dulo ZIF cable na kumakabit dun sa hard disk? medyo makapal kasi yung dulo ng cable, dapat i-sandpaper ng konti at wag piliting isaksak sa hard disk, baka ma-damage yung ZIF cable.
  
  Isa pa, wag po nyong alisin yung ferrite dun sa ZIF cable. Yun po yung itim na bagay na nakakabit dun sa zif cable.
