bumili din ako nyan, so far so good.
kaya lang nung second day after ko ma-install yung modem/router, naloloko yung wifi. bumabagsak-bagsak siya. tried sanang iupdate yung firmware niya kaya lang ayaw tanggapin yung firmware that i downloadedfrom global zyxel.

@jean_allen
also saw that blogsite, tinanong ko kung maayos ba ng firmware update yung intermittent wifi connection, di daw siya sigurado.
papalitan ko muna mamaya sa cdrking trinoma.
@kebloks

natempt din ako bumili nito nung may nakita ako sa park square, but as usual yung very short warranty period ang turn off sa akin. bought instead tp link @ 1,500 with 1 year warranty. very very easy to configure, in 5 min up and running na at malakas signal niya kasi nilagay ko siya sa room na puro semento ang dingding except the door of course :) kahit nasa garahe ako ay excellent signal. there was this lower brand china made pero generic, i forgot the name at maganda packaging and it goes for 1330 ata. kaya lang walang support office dito sa pinas

you just have to login straight to the modem. I bought one for a client a couple months back. Nawawala wala nga yung signal ng wifi at first so what i did was reset reset ko siya several times.. login then reconfigure... ayos na ngayon ilang months na... ganun talaga siya i think... kailangan lang himashimasin

for pldt users:
refer to this link for the settings
for globe users:
here are the steps on how to set it up (eto rin yung current settings ko sa modem)
1 --- to access the console of the modem, open a web browser and type 192.168.1.1
2 --- username and password is 1234
3 --- once you are in, look for "WAN" (should be under the "Advanced Setup Section"
4 --- next... go to WAN Setup.
5 --- Inside the Wan-Setup page, change the settings that is only mentioned bellow
Name: Innove (or it's up to you what name you want)
Mode: Routing
Encapsulation: PPPoE
Multiplex: LLC
VPI: 0
VCI: 35
ATM QoS type: UBR
User name: x@globelines.com.ph (where x is your user name to get in to the internet)
Password: (default password is usually your account number)
IP Address
[x] Obtain an IP Address Automatically
Connection
[x] Nailed up connection
PPPoE Pass Through
No
Do not for get to set your DNS under "Advanced Setup" then "LAN" then LAN Setup
you can look for the DNS Settings sa unified globe thread
personal experience ko kasi nung walang DNS napakabagal ng speed in browsing
Apply settings and restart router. Should be connecting.
kung may corrections man sa settings, please let me know. thanks!
