ganito kasi yung setup ko.. i didn't change anything sa prolink router except for enabling bridge and router mode tsaka turning on dhcp... sa wrt54g naman, i just set the dhcp server to disable tapos pinalitan ko ip to 192.168.2.1 and then plugged the cable of the prolink to one of the lan ports of linksys... after nun, hindi ko na maaccess yung linksys... pero yung prolink namomodify ko pa yung settings...

Q2. I have a Wireless Router and wants to connect the H9200 Series Modem to it. Is it possible?
Yes, you will need to set the H9200 Series Modem to Bridge Mode. Go to 192.168.1.1 > Home > Quick Configuration, erase your Username and Password and set the Encapsulation to 1456 Bridge IP LLC and Enable the Bridge and both the 'Use DHCP' and 'Default Route' set to Disabled. Remember to click 'Commit' to save your settings in Admin > Commit and Reboot. Also, please make sure that both the H9200 series modem and the wireless router have a different subnet e.g. H9200 Series - 192.168.1.1 and Wireless Router - 192.168.2.1. If they are the same range , please refer to your Wireless Router vendor to change the IP Address.
make sure na alam mo setup ng modem mo before changing anything. baka lalong magkagulo.

Mga bro,
My modem is Prolink H9200. My router is Linksys WRT54G ver. 7.
I followed the procedure here:
http://linksys.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/linksys.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=3687&lid=5811025002B10
Sabi nung link:
"Step 6:
When the router’s web-based setup page appears, click Status and check if Internet IP Address has numbers or values. If the Internet IP Address has numbers, the computer should now be able to access the Internet."
May numbers na lumalabas sakin pero di pa rin ako makaconnect sa internet. Both dsl cable and wireless.
So tinuloy ko up to Step 10. Ginamit ko yung PPoe instead na yung DHCP. Pero wala pa rin. pag pinindot ko yung connect, di pa rin makaconnect. Sinasabi naman "cannot connect to the internet."
Ginawa ko na yung power cycling, pero wala pa rin. baka may nakakaalam dito kung ano mali ginagawa ko. Patulong naman.
Thanks!

Bros, after trying all possible combinations I've read in the forums, this is the one that worked for me. I don't know the explanation behind this. It's quite unorthodox. But it works! What the heck! Thanks all!
I reproduce the procedure I followed:
Here's my little way of giving back to the community. To share internet through a globelines prolink h9200 dsl modem through a linksys wrt54g router, you have to do the following:
1) access the h9200 192.168.1.1 by default (username: admin password:password)
2) click admin tab and then click on autodetect
3) choose bridge&router and click enable.
4) click on the lan tab
5) enable dhcp server
now connect to the wrt54g
1) go to the wrt54g settings page also 192.168.1.1 by default (username: <blank> password: admin)
2) choose static IP with the following details:
IP - 192.168.1.5
Subnet - 255.255.255.0
Gateway - 192.168.1.1
static DNS 1 - 192.168.1.1
3) change local address to 192.168.0.1
4) disable DHCP server on the wrt54g
5) save settings.
now connect the h9200 to a LAN port of the wrt54g (NOT THE ONE USUALLY FOR INTERNET). Configure your computer to automatically detect ip and dns settings and either connect to one of the other lan ports on the wrt54g or conect wirelessly. ENJOY! :)

Hello guys!
Prolink H9200P modem I used before when I was still a globelines subscriber.
Now I switch to PLDT dsl and this modem has no use to me and my friend wants to buy it. Can she use this as her pdlt modem?
pls advise....
