No warranty. Test all you want. Compatibility is buyer's responsibility. I am currently using the NAS. it is connected to my network, So it is working 100% with 8 bays all loaded with 3tb WD reds @ Raid 5.

Great. no physical damage ( just usual day to day usage marks ie minor scratches) .
