@KG888 its actually still there.
Tried doing the shift + control + option + power and same thing happened.
I’m thinking, the issue is already with the pannel.

Hello to all! I still have my 13" Macbook Pro mid 2012 and still working smoothly up to this day. Im looking into replacing its battery though but I haven't had luck finding a genuine battery replacement for it. Any tips will be greatly appreciated. :)

yep. may punit ang diaphragm. kung ma open mo pwede mong lagyan ng silicon glue. wag rugby minsan nakakatunaw kasi.

Has anyone tried replacing the rubber feet on their Macbooks? They're useless. They don't stick on the surface they stand on. I can't even lift the lid off with one hand without causing the Mac to slide off the desk.

^ I had the same issue when I got my first MBP.
I suggest instead of replacing the the feet, just stick those clear 3M Bumpon non-slip feet on the aluminum surfaces right next to the existing feet.
Besides being grippy, since they're a bit taller than the stock feet, the MBP sits higher. That allows for a bit more ventilation underneath the laptop as a side benefit.

Mga sir tanong lang.
may permanent solution ba for Macbook Pro Screen na nagkakaroon ng lines after a few minutes of use? it seems like its being caused by temperature, kasi after putting the screen on sleep for a few minutes nawawala naman.

I would say depende sa spec’s and price ng machine.
Baka mas, in the long term, especially kung optimised mga apps na gamit mo, bette to shell out for a machine with Apple Silicon.
Gamit nalang ng external SSD for extra storage.

It will be too slow and you'll complain why it's slow because you're using it on 10yo hardware.
@tekrum
If your Mac is more than 1yo then its internals and heat sink fan has collected a lot of dust. I'd suggest taking a few hours to open it up and cleaning it out with a used toothbrush or a blower.
@mereijeyn
That's a poor utilization of resources. I'd retire the the Intel Mac and set it aside as a backup and make the M1 the primary machine.

It might slow you down because of the graphics requirement... also, IMO, puro eye candy upgrade naman yung Big Sur para sa needs ko. I think it's really made for M1's.
Yung main work station ko, which is an iMac is using Mojave. - I've tried Catalina and Big Sur for a while, wala naman hiccups for me. Kaso hindi ko nagustuhan Notifications ng Big Sur. So I've downgraded to Mojave. Everything works great. And it doesn't feel like an outdated system naman. - Also, I have some 32-bit apps that I miss :)
Also, sa Big Sur, hindi na napapalitan ang Folder Icons... I really hate those Blue Folders :)

@wigiboy
may mag pop out na download update to big sur. sakin mba 2017 naka catalina pa din ako, wala naman issue sa gmeet at zoom din. baka need lang talaga reformat yan. ayoko muna mag big sur kasi stable pa naman, and may nababasa ako mas matagal batt life ng catalina compare sa big sur. back up laptop ko lang to mba since may windows laptop naman ako talaga for work.
