  Court orders ABS-CBN, SkyCable bank accounts, assets garnished in Solar case
  
  MANILA – The Mandaluyong Regional Trial Court has issued an order to garnish the bank accounts and other assets of ABS-CBN and its cable affiliate, Sky Cable, for airing the BTV and NBA Premium TV channels of Solar Entertainment Corporation without paying the carriage fees for approximately three years.
  
  The order, signed by Judge Monique Quisumbing-Ignacio on May 16, also required Solar, the local distributor of NBA games and programs these past 16 years, to post a bond for P659 million, the amount it is trying to collect.

  Gahaman talaga. Dati gusto nila sila mag cover ng PBA, eh hindi sila ang pinili. Anong ginawa nila? Tinayo MBA, pinipirata players ng PBA by offering huge salaries. After 3 or 4 years, ayun nabangkarote.

  - beIN Sports 1/2/3
  - Fox Sports/Fox Sports 2
  
  ang dami sigurong nag-complain or nag-threaten to disconnect sa Sky. damage control mode sila! hahaha!

  Bakit ba cropped/cut ung vertical sides nung picture? like roughly 2-5% ung nacut/cropped na vertical sides sa picture kapag kinumpara mo sa original video source.
  Kahit anong palit ko ng digibox TV settings like aspect ratio, resolution, etc., same parin na cropped/cut.
  Parang ung nacut/crop na picture galing mismo sa coaxial cable or ung source na nagtransmit dun na cut/crop. Tinest ko ito both sa HD digibox na malaki at dun sa maliit na HD digibox na bago at para maisolate lang ung digibox nakakabit ito sa desktop monitor.
  
  Para maimagine niyo ung nacut/cropped na picture kapag sinet nio sa 576p ung resolution, ung dalawang vertical black bars yan ung mismong nacut/cropped.

  hi newbie here. Ano ba ang setup ng skycable digibox? May nakakabit pa ba na wire o digibox lang talaga? Naghahanap kasi ako ng cable provider para sa condo unit namin. Yung bago bang digibox ng skycable tulad ng digibox ng abs-cbn tv plus? yun bang digibox lang mismo wala ng linya galing sa labas.

  Yup, nag take effect yan nung weekend. Nag merge ang star movies at fox movies premium, naging fox movies. Sadly, may ads na.

  @badjawong: ang alam ko, 2months of no payment saka nila cut yung channels then 3 or 4 default channels na lang active after that.

  sa experience namin (pero this was like 10+ years ago :D) tumawag kami sa sky to discontinue their service, naka 3 or 4 calls kami in a span of 1 and a half months kasi may cable reception pa din kami. after the 4th call hindi na kami nag follow up call.......ayun 2 years kami nagka "free" cable.
  
  Fast forward today, I guess a simple flick of a switch ika nga sa remote location nila pede na madiscontinue ang service.

  4 yrs. na skycable namin at talagang ipapa tanggal ko na at lilipat sa cignal
  2 months nang sira ang remote putik hirap tumawag sa sky..tinanggal na daw nila callcenter nila
  sa personal concierge na lang tumawag..pag tinawagan mo naman ung binigay na number putik bata ang sumasagot as in 4yrs. old
  hayyyyyy siguro naman wala na akong babayarang disconnection fee???
  
  triny ko tawagan ung add channels nila putik ang bilis sumagot...pag talaga kikita ng pera ang bibilis e

  Kung nakaka-pasok ka sa line ng add channels, dun ka na mag-report. Ganun ginawa ko dati, sabi ko walang sumasagot pag technical support eh.
