Pag pinapalitan ba router ng galing PLDT may bayad? nagloloko na kasi router namin, nadidisconnect and wifi tapos di na makaconnect uli unless mag restart ng router, pati LAN nangyayari na rin yun
kung within 1 year warranty ay nasira ay papalitan yan free of charge, pag lampas ay may bayad na, you can call sa 171 products & services to verify that

nung huling nasira yun router ko is 2014 pa wala naman binayaran, that router was yun orig na kasama sa initial setup way back in 2010 pa.
sabi ng tech na pumunta that time yun router na yun daw ay sirain talaga. after that hindi na nasira up until now.

kapag kinabit ko ba ng ibang router ung sa PLDT, need pa ba i-bridge mode? or kahit patayin ko na lang ung WLAN? wala kasi sa settings ng router ung pag bridge mode eh, need ko pa iaccess ung adminpldt sa likod, pero pag ginawa ko yun nawawalas ako ng internet connection so need ko ireset ung router mismo para magka internet connection uli

napalitan na ung router namin ng Prolink PRS1841u, alam nyo ba kung pano sya gawing bridge mode? wlan lang kasi ung available na settings

Tanong lang po bakit everytime iaangat po ung phone bigla nalang nadidisconnect ung net tapos biglang nalang bumababa speed nya.

Guys, did some snr tweaking to
temporarily improve my speed

Downstream speed changed/went up, but sync rate did not adapt.
When i did some speedtest, download speed is the same.
Anyone knowledgeable.

hi guys! i am not sure kung pwede yung itatanong ko, pa advise nalang or delete kung bawal. i am subscribed sa converge. i have a prolink PRS1841U router and gusto ko sya gamitin as wireless router (dahil sa 5ghz hehe). nagawa ko syang paganahin, but then everytime na coconnect ko yung android device ko sa ibang router, tapos connect ulit dito sa router na to, hindi na makapag obtain ng ip address. i have tried assigning static ip sa android device ko, nagcoconnect pero no internet naman. di ko alam kung may mali sa ginawa ko sa router. eto ang ginawa ko:
disable dhcp
change the ip settings to 192.168.2.1
ang workaround na ginagawa ko lagi ay mag on/off ng wifi router. any recommendations? thanks in advance!

Kakapalit lang ng router namin. And ung accessible is ung admin/1234 na account. Pwede pa ba ako gumamit ng external router para macontrol bandwidth?

Guys need help.
My speed is yung lumang 8mbps. Pero since yung connection nung lugar ko is asa g.dmt line daw, hindi daw kaya ng full 8mbps, so ang ceiling ng connection ko nalang is 7mbps.
Pinabayaan ko nalang. Pero right now may bagong problema naman ako.
I believe na DC ata ako ng around 3AM-6AM(?) 1 day ago. Pagkagising ko, nag browse ako onti or whatever, pero nakita ko sa bandwidth monitor ko na parang ang max speed ko nalang is around 5mbps. Pumasok ako sa PLDTADMIN, at yun nga ngyari, bumagsak ung speed ko. So ang ginawa ko is nirestart ko modem.
After restarting, tumaas naman speed ko to around 6mbps. Kahit ilang restart, off, etc. ayaw talaga na tumaas from 6mbps. So napilitan ako tumawag sa 171. May nakausap akong agent sa kabilang line. Una kong tinanong is bumagsak ba ung max speed ko from 8mbps. Sabi nya hindi raw. So sabi ko do whatever sa side nila muna na para baka naman maayos to. After a few minutes pinaoff ung modem ko, restart, etc. and then on. After calibration, ang speed ko ay nasa 6.5mbps. Ayaw bumalik sa dati. So I asked them to make a ticket at may pumunta na dito, which they did.
Now after the call, ilang beses ko parin inulit na restart, change ip, etc. ayaw talaga. Parang ang speed ko ginawa nalang talaga aabot hanggang dun.
I've tried calling back sa 171 today pero walang sumasagot kahit 1hour na nakatambay sa phone.
So ito mga questions ko.
May major problem ba na wala sumasagot sa 171 ngayon?
Ano ngyari sa connection ko at bat ayaw bumalik sa dati?

^ Ang speed mo ba na binabayaran dapat fixed sa 8mbps? ang alam ko kasi pag sa speed Up to lang, parang samin up to 15mbps, minsan 16mbps minsan naman 5mbps depende sa oras

Pa realign/refresh mo lang speed profile mo. May tinawagan ba yung tech na pumunta? Usually tinatawag lang nila yan.

Parang samen. Before 13-14mbps. Nagakaissue ako sa modem, me pinalitan sa wire. then bumagsak na sa 7mbps. Pinaayos sa PLDT, umabot ng 12mbps. Tapos ngayon bagsak na ulet 5mbps. As in parang yun na ang max speed profile na naka set. Hindi ko alam bakit bigla biglang nagbabago yung speed profile past few weeks.

Paano e save yung mga changes sa PLDT router? Every time gmgwa ako ng changes lagi bmblik sa default settings the next day. Parang hindi gumagana yung Apply Changes na button.

successfully reconfigured Globe's Fiberhome HG180 to work with PLDT VDSL on my friend's crappy DSL connection.
VLAN is 100, set vlan priority to blank if you dont have any other services such as IPTV or VoIP (usually you dont need this) else set it to 0 for top priority, make sure to tick the option "DHCP Transparency" or else you wont get any WAN IP.
naka plan 1299 DSL lang sya, for some reason naka public IP sya with ADSL, but as soon as we swap to VDSL profile, boom CGNAT. iyak tawa sya, binalik muna namin sa ADSL para sa port forwarding (mainly his console gaming), else pag naging CGNAT na rin yung ADSL profile nya set to VDSL mode na sya

Question, tnry ko e follow yung bridging guide dito sa forum. After ko e refresh/restart yung router ko nwwlan ako ng net and nwwla or hindi ko ma access yung GUI ng modem.

^set your network to static ip to 192.168.1.2 with 255.255.255.0 subnet. ma access mo na ulit yan, though since na bridge mode mo na sya, the next thing you need to do is plug it in to your router's wan port, set the router's wan setting to DHCP, after that you should be able to get a WAN IP at meron ka ng internet connection.
