bakit ung samin nakalagay sa Rate 16899 kbps tapos upload 927 kbps pero pag nag speedtest ako nasa 13 to 14mbps lng

Kakaayos lang ni PLDT ng dial tone and DSL ko. Na-check ulit nila yung maliit na box sa bahay papuntang poste. Wala talagang signal. About 30 minutes later, bumalik sila. Meron na ulit. Back to normal na lahat.
From February 27 up to March 29, yun lang ang time na kailangan nila para ayusin ang linya. March 7 nung unang pumunta ang isang technician. Siya na mismo ang nagsabi na buong neighborhood ang apektado. Di man lang inasikaso nung March 9, 10, 11, 12, 13. Wala pang quarantine nun.
May tumawag na taga-171 kahapon, March 28, at binigyan ako ng reference number. Not sure if pwede kong gamitin for 1 month rebate. Salamat sa suggestions niyo. Yun na naman aasikasuhin ko ngayon.

@rcababan try mo lagyan ng takip na plastic na matigas yung Router mo. Effective yun pa pataas ng DL speed.
Question din lang sa PLDT Prepaid Home WiFi. Consistent naman siyang mabilis dito sa San Pedro Laguna area pero bakit may times na nawawalan ng connection? Weird lang eh. Pati tuwing 5am, nawawalan ng connection. Pero refresh lang naman, unplug then plug back Yung router, nagkakaroon din naman agad. May nakaka experience din ba sa inyo ng ganito? And anong remedy nito? Sa Base 40 pala ako naka connect constantly. Thanks!

My DSL speed is slow at the moment which started yesterday.
I am on Plan 1699 which gets around 17mbps down, 1mbps up.
Anyone having the same issue? Is this something to do with the covid19 situation?

Now here's my current statistic (only getting around 1-2mbps down):
I'm trying to get in touch with PLDT tech support, but the long queue is an issue.

kapag nabago or bumaba yun download ang upload speed mo without affecting your snr value ay malamang sa ngn facility ni pldt ang issue.... better ask sa 171 kung meron ongoing maintenance or kung wala ay ipa check yun port mo, ang mostly ang response ni agent sa yo ay tech dispatch, hayaan mo lang kung magpadispatch pero mostly may tatawag sa yo from the facility basta sipag lang sa pag follow up sa 171 para matambak sila ng email

Pansin ko nga na normal naman ang SNR values ko. Hopefully something that PLDT can take action immediately. Hirap kasi ng ganito since gamit namin for work and internet.

I was able to talk to PLDT support late yesterday regarding my concern with the sudden drop in speed.
Earlier today, lineman technician went in my area and was able to resolve the issue. Loose connection in the outside post a few blocks away is the cause. Kudos to the technician. I was not able to meet him personally, only chatted via phone. Was looking forward to reward him something for a job well done.

Tumaas na SNR ko after magreport sa app and fb page naging 36-37 na stable internet narin siya pero yung speed bumaba naman naging 5mbp

ano kaya prob mga boss, lagi lang dropped, SNR downstream drops from 24 to 10 to 8 to -2 then back to handshake, pag gabi okay naman pag umaga to lunch time drops.
also i can only connect via VDSL 17a profile nothin else, PRS1841U also cannot tweak SNR

Tumawag ako sa 171 kaninang 4 AM para mag-request sana ng rebate para dun sa isang buwan na wala akong dial tone at DSL. Wala namang options dun sa IVR nila para may makausap akong agent. May time lang ba na available ang option to talk to a real person?
Ang available lang at the time was:

*** Walang billing option sa PLDT Home. Lagi ako nagla-login dun kasi dun ko nakikita ang amount na babayaran ko for the month. Ang options lang ng Support dun ay: Change number request at Tech Visit.

ung gawain ko dati when naipit ung tawag ko dahil sa existing ticket, is tawag ka sa ibang option (billing and statement) then pag may nakausap na ako tao, patransfer-call na lang ako sa tamang department (technical support)

Hay. Tong PLDT mydsl plan 1699 na 20mbps daw, eh ping 22ms., download 14.7 mbps, upload 850kbps. Work from home anak ko, choppy daw boses sya sa mga ka conference nya using webex.
Pwede kayang irequest ke PLDT na gawin kahit 2 mbps ang upload?
So disappointed with pldt.
Ano kaya workaround dito?

limitation po ng adsl yung 1M upload, so kahit si PLDT walang magagawa.
alternative is to migrate to fiber kung may available sa inyo.

^well its a ADSL connection to begin with so normal lang yan.
your best bet is have your modem to upgrade to VDSL modem, assuming you have good enough distance of your line from DSLAM, then you can get upto 50mbps upload speed (still depends on your subscribe plan, but in your case once upgraded to VDSL modem you can get upto 15mbps upload).
now how to avail a VDSL modem, simple ask them for replacement. alas naka ECQ pa tayo so that thing maybe kinda impossible to do now given it requires person-person contact to replace it which is what they were avoiding in the first place.

I have the pldt dsl plan na 1299 5mpbs but I saw meron 1299 fiber 10mbps sa pldt site is this true ?
And if I upgrade what do requirements do I need?

Mukang naayos na nila bumalik na sa speed pero yung dating SNR 36-37db nung 5mb speedtest naglalaro na sya sa 9-10db att concern ko lang ngaun yung CRC na dati 0 maski nung nag 5mb speed ngaun meron na sya tumataas.

dalawa lang yun option mo kung mag upgrade ka, either fiber or vdsl connection... kung walang available port sa fiber nap box or walang nap box ay magiging vdsl ang i-offer sa yo

bakit po ganun sa speedtest hanggang 14mbps lng pero nakalagay jan 16799kbps ibig sbhin 16.8mbps dapat un nakukuha kong speedtest attainable na nakalgay sakin hanggang 22mbps

Plan1699 po sila same lang po tayo. Normal na po na 14-15mb po download speed while yung upload nasa 0.6-0.7 swerte if umabot ng 1mb+ yung upload.

normal yan para sa dsl plan lalo na mataas ang SNR mo at very accurate ang nakukuhang result mo sa speedtest, yun iba ay nasa 6dbm lang ang snr ng download kaya napakaswerte mo na meron ganyan stats.... kung magiging vdsl naman ay posible na tataas pa ang upload speed hanggang kayang pantayan ang download speed at mababa ang ping
