Ngayon ganito, pumalya gawa kasi wrong size pinadala sakin. Bali ang tagal ng update nitong seller na 'to, from the production-shipping hanggang sa pagreturn. So, nainis na ako and I've asked for a refund.

Not true!

I worked as IT sa bank before. May dormancy period lahat ng banks. (usually 2 yrs). If no single activity happened in that period, the account will enter dormancy and will then incur penalty per month instead of earning interest.

Why did it took so long for your family to go to the bank? It takes two years before maging dormant ang account. Moral of the story, go and ayusin ASAP ang mga finances ng deceased.

^Yup, that happened to me in the past. Once an account enters dormancy, a fee will be charged monthly and it is subtracted from whatever amount is in the account. I think in my case (BPI) it was around 100 pesos per month. If you leave it at that long enough then it's possible for the amount to become zero from the continuous fees charged for being dormant.

Actually I have a situation like this with BDO (Smart Checking Pass book) , winithdraw ko lahat sa kanila then lipat SB kasi nakakatamad yung laging haba ng pila/dami ng tao sa BDO. Di ko sya clinose account. Patuloy pa kaya ang dormancy fee nun kahit zero balance as in may plus na at sisingilin nila/debit kong mag open uli ng another account (I'm planning on a TD for secured credit card) and in another branch?

What will happen is that there will be a monthly decrease (dormancy fee) until your account reaches zero and then it will be closed permanently. Need to open another account if you want an account in the same bank.

^Yup, it's alright if you leave it alone after withdrawing your money. You can close your account formally, like what I did for Metrobank several years ago, they'll withdraw all the remaining money in the account and give it to you. Or you can just leave it alone, like what I did for my Unionbank payroll account. I quit from the employment that was using that payroll account, so I just emptied what I could at the ATM and left it alone. It will not become negative, just zero.

According to NPC, SIM swapping is a modus operandi in which fraudsters illegally obtain from a telco operator a replacement SIM card not belonging to them and then use the number for fraudulent activities.
“A SIM card in the hands of a cyber thief makes mobile authentication meaningless, as it becomes almost like a master key for committing all sorts of identity fraud, said NPC Chairman Raymund Enriquez Liboro.
“It leaves the victim’s personal data vulnerable to all sorts of misuse and abuse, including access to email and Facebook accounts, and unauthorized ATM and online bank withdrawals,” he added. “As gatekeepers of mobile authentication, we are asking telco providers to upgrade their security measures.”
