Damn my line sa bottom screen c725 nagbiblink siya on certain scenes. Pag naka pause nagbiblink talaga.. Wala pa 2 years to may warranty pa kaya?

    any update?
2yrs warranty yan paps. there's a chance na "baka" palitan nila ng bago instead of repair. ganun "daw" si TCL.
  • ^di pa namin maasikaso ngayon medyo busy. I'll update if ever mapa-warranty namin 'to.

  • @statix

Thanks for the info paps. Baka next week will try to call.
  • Yung TCL C635 namin after two days may lines agad. Inaaprove din yung brand new replacement.

I am planning to get my TCL 65inch warranty as well. No power po cya. How long it would take kaya to have the replacement? From the time you open the ticket to TCL until it got delivered to your home?

Nag try ako inquire sa local authorized service center sa amin, gusto nila dalhin ko mismo TV sa shop nila taz doon pa i-troubleshoot, which I don't like so I am leaning on contacting TCL directly thru email.
  • @mjjoefox

i rather opt with direct TCL warranty claims. less hassle.

So di mo cya ma select as product to be service. Ano kaya ibig sabihin noon? TIA
  • Good day guys,
My TCL 50" Ultra HD Smart TV na binili ko pa way back in 2016 (7yrs na din) bigla bumigay ang pictures nya, nag collapse nag fade to black pero may sounds pa din. Almost 3 months lng di nagamit, yung gagamitin na ganun na nangyari. Pag palilipasin tapos i-on uli, may picture uli tapos maya maya mag fafade to black na uli, total black out. Wala pa budget pa repair kung possible pa i-repair. Magkano ang aabutin pag pa repair? Anu kaya problem? Capacitor lang kaya? Never been open or repair. Well napapaisip lang ako kasi ayos sya last time ginamit tapos biglang ganito.... it hurts... huhuhu!
    Salamat sa sasagot!

Update ko lang tong warranty claim ko. So na email ko TCL support directly Thursday night. Nag reply ng umaga kinabukasan Friday. Sabi for onsite Tech visit, sabi within 7days may pupunta. Pero gulat ako the same day Friday afternoon, may tumawag taga service center tapos sabi pupuntahan bukas which is Today Saturday. So may pumunta nga ngayong umaga, nag tulongan nlang kami ibaba sa wall mount yung tv kac di kaya isang tao pag 65inches na. Binuksan and nag troubleshoot ang Tech, diagnosis is yung Power supply board may problema. Buong PSU daw papalitan.

Note that the same service center(only 1 in our place so no choice)ang itry ko ireach out before ako nag directly reach TCL support via email. Buti nlang pag onsite visit, nasa bahay safe yung unit ko- kaya this would serve a tip mga magpa warranty kung sino man dyan.

Update nlang ulit ako sa progress.
  • Hello...shopping for a TCL TV. Can anyone help me decide whether or not I go for a 65p737, or a 55c647? They have almost the same pricing and the picture quality of QLED is unquestionable, but there's part of me fighting for the bigger size TV. Then to those who know something about PQ, how would you explain the poor picture quality of p73? I mean is it because it lacks brightness or something else? These days the main area of TV specifications I focus on so much is the peak brightness. Google says that 600 nits or higher is the recommended peak brightness for dolby vision. Yes I know about mini led. I'm not a gamer.

Get the C series kahit smaller ng konti ang size. Walang true motion engine or MEMC yung P series. Night and day ang difference nila sa PQ. C735 user here.

    5. Google TV na lahat ng models from 2022. Iba rin sa western countries.

    9. Ang pinakamurang TCL TV ay nasa less than 20,000 pesos.

    10. May sizes ang TCL TVs na 32; 43; 50; 55; 65; 75; 85; 98.

    11. Sirain (daw) ang TCL TVs.
  • Update nlang ulit ako sa progress.

Just to provide an update here on my Warranty claim.
It took them 7 business days to replaced the defective power board. This is all done in home service. That 7 business days excludes the 2 Sundays and 1 Saturday. So in total mga 10days then inabot which is not bad knowing we are far from Manila.

So far it was a good warranty claim experience, all in all less hassle since its all Home service. Emailing their support is responsive enough when you do follow-ups.

Kung sirain ba talga and TCL TV's? well for me I only have two TV's from them. Yung isa is out of warranty na and so far no problem nman. Yung isa nman nasa 9months palang at nadali na yung power board. So its like 50/50 based on what I have and experience. But I will continue to observe since this is what I currently have for now.

Though I have questions to all user's here. Do you really unplug your TV when you are done using for the day? Is that really necessary? What I can confirm that nowadays TV doesn't have the power option to totally turn OFF the system. When you turn off either via Remote or the physical push button- this will only bring the tv to STANDBY mode. Do you think its still necessary to unplug then? Kac before nadali yung powerboard nung isa kung unit, I really NEVER unplug it except kung lalayo kami like on a vacation for more than a day so I unplug it on that situation. Pero on most cases na nasa bahay lang, I never unplug it and ito ang parang blame ng technician kac dapat daw unplug at least in the evening before going to bed. Pero binaliwala ko kac I don't think it matters specially if your purpose is to save energy. So yes, I need your opinion about this if not unplugging will really affect the electronic parts lifespan or reliability?
  • Any feedback sa 55c648 or 65c645? Thinking of getting one to replace my 5 yo semi defective 55 led tv. Movies and ps4 pro gaming use. Thanks
  • @mjjoefox
Ours is naka-plugged sa extension na may switch.

    @maserati19
As much as I wanted to answer you, hindi ako gamer. What I can say is automatic lumilipat sa Vision Bright kapag detected niya ang content...The model 55C648 is ok naman. May minor annoyance lang regarding sa date and time na ayaw mag-fix sa iisang setting.

My only connection is a single one to my ARC enabled receiver. And boy oh boy, anlayo talaga pag naka output sa receiver with a surround setup.
  • Update from my previous post.

Napa warranty din namin. Inabot ng almost 1 month pinakuha pa certificate of purchase. lumabo na kasi yung receipt, Pero naka stamp naman yung date of purchase sa likod resibo. Di sinabi kung ano ginawa. Baka palit panel since gumanda backlight niya dati kasi my leak sa lower right.

Oct 8 siya nag 2 years buti nakaabot pa-warranty.

Sana tumagal na Ito. Ginawa ko low power na lang settings for daily use at binabaan ko brightness to 75.
  • So yes, I need your opinion about this if not unplugging will really affect the electronic parts lifespan or reliability?

It depends siguro kung really unstable yun power sa premises nyo. But using a surge protector for the TV should be sufficient. Yun older LG namin 7yrs more na and lagi yun naka-standby lang pero binigay na namin sa helper nun bumili kami bago. Yun Skyworth, 5 yrs, oks pa rin. Swertihan lang din siguro tlga hahaha.
  • Naka sale ngayon yung 55c647 for 25k sa 32nd anniv sale ni sm appliance. You might want to check it out.
