TCL LCD/LED TV Users Thread

  • @thecrowester salamat sa tip! sayang na wala ring nagawa. matagal ng problema ng TCL ang dimming sa iba't-ibang models niya tulad ng C6 ko.

    parang may kinalaman ang problema na yan sa Android TV. kung Roku gamit ko, hindi ko nahahalata na nangyayari ang dimming problem na yan.


    sana nga ganun boss, balak ko na nga lang papalit to at baka nga sa hardware na to as per @joshlawrenz

    @joshlawrenz Good day! Kung magbabackread ka, isa ako sa mga nagkaproblema dun sa dimming ng LEDP8US. Di ko sure kung same tayo sa problem ko dati pero yun ba yung kahit nakapatay yung Dynamic Backlight, nag-auauto dim parin?

    Sadly, walang fix diyan. Ang masusuggest ko sayo is pa-replace unit mo na. Marami na rin kasi ginawa para maayos sakin. Di siya software problem. Share ko experience ko. Nabili ko yung TV nung around October 18, 2019.

    Ito na yung mga nagawa sa tv ko dati:

    • Update yung software (using USB na dala ng technician, walang nangyare)
    • Change motherboard (medyo mas dumami problema ko since nawala yung google assistant within apps like YouTube tapos di rin nawala dimming issues)
    • Finally, change unit na. This fixed my problem talaga. No issues na whatsoever. Can confirm na hardware problem talaga siya.

    After makailang balik nung TCL technician, medyo nagpaparinig na siya na di na daw bayad yung punta niya tsaka nakakahiya daw sakin (sarcastic yung kuya). Maarte kasi ako tsaka nakakahilo rin yung continuous flickering sa ibang scenes na, for example, may black background na may kunting white na text.

    To test, you can use this video to confirm yung problem mo. This what I used to show TCL na may problem sa TV ko.

    oo boss actually dun ko nabasa sa post mo before na akala ko nga din ako lang ang may problem na ganun,



    salamat din sa details din sir at kala ko nga mapipinpoint ko din ang problem niya pero sadly, base sa mga nagawa mo na rin sa unit, mukhang hardware na nga siya

    di ko alam kung ako lang pero minsan nawawala yung flicker, or di ko na lang siya masyadong napapansin.

    so sir, matanong ka lang, san mo po nahanap ang technician na yan at pano ko macecertifiy sa kanila na for replacement to? by replacing the unit, same model din po ba siya?

    maraming salamat po in advanced sir, medyo give-up na rin ako kung wala naman talagang workaround dito. sana makita din ito ng may kagaya ng issue satin.

    [email protected] yung email nila. Super dali nila kausap as in 10/10 customer support nila. Tatawagan ka nila after a day or two. Just email them tapos sama mo na yung mga hinihingi nilang details. Sama ko dito yung email nila sakin.

    Kung maisasama mo yung video na galing sa youtube link na nakaplay sa TV, mas maganda. Need macheck ng technician mismo yung problem tapos siya rin mismo magrequest ng replacement ng unit niyo if ever wala talaga. Ittry niya muna siguro update pero insist niyo na lang maipareplace kung di gumana update. Wag mo narin ipa-motherboard replacement kasi worse yung magiging problema mo.

  • guys Help still torn between TCL C6 vs LG 55UM7500PPA parehas cla nsa 30k plus range discounted price, although android ung TCL, and WebOS un LG, ive been a long time LG tv user kasi,so far 2013 pa ung luma kong LG still ok. worried lng me sa quality ng TCL.. TIA
  • Kung galing ka lg, baka maasar ka sa sobrang bagal ng loading time ng tcl. I mean sobrang bagal compared sa speed ng loading time ng LG.

    I have an issue na kapag naka standby ng matagal yung TCL 50P8US ko then binuksan later, sasabihin niya "Ethernet not connected", kahit nakaconnect naman? Naka direct connection ako sa router tapos para masolve to, kailangan restart talaga palagi using the option from Device Preferences > About > Restart. Medyo annoying kasi di ako mahilig magpatay ng TV nung as in full shutdown.

    May iba ba nakakaexperience nito? Kahit sa ibang model?

    Wireless kasi connection ko kaya hindi ko pansin yung issue mo. Pero instead of simply turning off your TV by pressing the power button ng remote once, try to "PRESS AND HOLD" the power button for 3 seconds. Tapos may lalabas diyan na SHUTDOWN. I-shutdown mo ng tama.

    And then after that, try mo ulit open yung TV mo. Let's see kung lalabas pa siya if the TV is shutdown properly.
