Just visited Anson's and checked the TCL C6. To be honest it looks good, display wise and build wise. Sadly 60hz native refresh rate lang.

Share ko lang experience ko recently sa 50P6US ko
November 11, 2018 ko nabili yung unit ko, hindi laspag pag-gamit ko nasa 2 hours to 3 hours lang siguro average use ko per day minsan busy pa kaya di din halos ganon kadalas ang gamit kaya expect ko na di agad masisira or degrade yung unit
May 2 napansin ko may dead pixels yung screen habang nililinis ko yung screen
May 3 dinala ko yung unit sa love electronics along quirino highway sa novaliches, accept naman nila then for replacement daw
May 30 dumating na replacement unit ko kaso upon checking meron din dead pixel yung screen (plus maalikabok yung unit parang gamit na though sabi nila stock daw yon) so nagpareplacement nanaman ako ng unit.
June 18 kanina lang dumating replacement unit ko, take note 3rd time ko na pumunta sa kanila yung pagcheck ko ng unit meron 2 dead pixel ulit akong nakita screen (new na replacement unit) ayaw ko magpadala sa inis gusto ko sana ibalik ulit pero nakakainip na magintay, magastos magpa-gas at time consuming kaya sabi ko test ko nalang sa bahay, ok sana pero yung install ko na yung wall mount screw ng TV sa likod ayaw naman mag-FIT ng mgadating screws na gamit ko (50P6US ko dati fit naman)
Ngayon napapaisip tuloy ako parefund na since 3rd time ko na to nagpapawarranty sa kanila...

Kakabili ko lang ng 43P6US. So far ok naman siya sakin. Ang marereklamo ko lang is average siguro yung grey uniformity ng nakuha kong unit. Based sa mga images na nakita k sa rtings.com, di naman siya kaganda nung good pero di naman siya kasing lala ng bad grey uniformity. Mahahalata mo lang yung 2 mejo dark na vertical line pag mejo greyish colors and low brightness yung pinapanood. Pag nanonood naman ako ng movies or anime di naman halata. Lumalabas lang pag kunwari nasa snow na lugar yung pinapanood ko like yung Our Planet sa Netflix.
Napapangitan ako sa OS ng TV at di mo mauupdate yung builtin Netflix unless nagkaroon ng bagong firmware update. Madilim kasi magplay ng HDR yung builtin Netflix. Yung workaround ko for now is to use my old Mi Box 3 to play Netflix HDR para bright siya pero pag HDR ng file sa USB mejo hit or miss yung brightness level depende siguro sa file kasi sa Aquaman IMAX 2160p HDR kong file bright and vibrant yung picture while yung Captain Marvel 2160p HDR kong file mejo madilim. Mas priority ko gamitin yung builtin Netflix pag non HDR yung papanoorin ko kasi mas nagagandahan ako sa remote ng TV kesa sa remote ng Mi Box ko na konti lang buttons (yung sa TV kasi may ffw/rw buttons at subtitles buttons).
Ok naman yung P6US ko sa PS4 gaming pero RDR2 palang yung natry kong laruin in 4k sa PS4 Pro ko. Try ko din sa weekend ano itsura nung mga 1080p60 kong games. Sa weekend ko na din itry iplay yung mga physical 1080p blurays ko thru PS4 para malaman if ok pa yung quality kahit na 4k pa din yung screen.
Masasabi ko naman you get what you pay for sa halagang 20k yung 43" na P6US. If ever baka sa bonus ko bili nalang ako ng LG B8 dahil bumaba na price at bigay nalang tong TCL sa parents ko para may UHD TV sa bahay pag umuuwi ako ng probinsya. Sana may stocks pa ng B8 pag bonus season :D. Feel ko sulit na yung 55" na OLED sa current nyang price compared sa OLED ng Sony.

If ever baka sa bonus ko bili nalang ako ng LG B8 dahil bumaba na price at bigay nalang tong TCL sa parents ko para may UHD TV sa bahay pag umuuwi ako ng probinsya. Sana may stocks pa ng B8 pag bonus season :D. Feel ko sulit na yung 55" na OLED sa current nyang price compared sa OLED ng Sony.

I just experienced on my C6 what some of you mentioned here; that the screen gets too dim/dark when playing Netflix HDR. Specifically, the display flickers from bright to dark (usually dark) when the video changes scenes. It's awful and here's my assessment:
I observed that this issue only happens on recently released Netflix HDR content. In other words, Netflix HDR plays great on say, Designated Survivor / Jessica Jones s01 and s02 but exhibits the dark screen issue on their new s03. Check it out.
This is worrying since it means that our TVs will suck with new Netflix HDR content (it's unwatchable, imo) until TCL updates the firmware.
UPDATE: naayos siya nung irestart ang TV. Let's see if the problem repeats in the future.

Napagana ko na din ng tama yung HDR ng builtin Netflix App. Hinold ko yung power button sa remote nagrestart yung TV at ok na yung HDR di na madilim

Always go for the bigger size that fits your budget, sir. At the same size, reliable and simple ang interface ng Samsung for the seniors.

@EarlOfMillenium Thanks po sa pagreply.. Importante po saken mga binigay niyong inputs, lalo na't gusto ko din na sulit at talagang tatagal yung TV na bibilhin ko. (di rin birong kitain ang 20k+)
Di ko rin trip yung OS ng TCL eh.. Pero di naman siya makaka-apekto sa pagbili ko, oks lang din naman..
So advisable pa din na bumili ako ng 43P6US model or hanap nalang ako ng alternative (Samsung or LG)?

sa subtitles po din pala, nacucustomize din po ba yun (like changing font color, size, etc)? kase yellow daw po subs sabi nung isang nag-comment dito eh..

Sa pagkakaalam ko hindi same yung specs ng US model ng P6 sa release sa atin kaya di mo mahahanap talaga. Comparable siguro but likely not the same. Roku OS pa man din ng US variant at di ko din magamit yung hidden menu dun sa mga nasearch ko na US model.
Yung subtitles hindi ko pa nakakalikot kung napapalitan. Ang pansin ko lang yung yellow na subtitle ata depende sa format ng subs like if .srt siya or .sub or builtin sa video file. May movie kasi ako na may 3 subs siya yung isa naka yellow tapos may white din. Pmeron din ako movie na yellow lang yung subs at meron din ako na white lang yung subs. Depende nalang siguro yun sa source mo. Usually kasi di ako nanonood ng may subs kaya inooff ko din lang saka lang ako nagsusubs pag mga di ko alam na language XD

Regarding sa subtitle base sa observation ko, subrip (srt) either naka embed or separate sa video automatic yellow yung color at wide/large yung font. Vobsub(.sub/.idx) na naka embed sa video (mkv format) usually white yung color pero nakadepende yung font style at size sa nagconvert or nag create ng subtitle. Para maging white yung .srt na subtitle, kelangan i-convert muna ito sa .sub/.idx using subedit then need itong i-merge sa video(mkv) using mkvtoolnix. So far ganyan yung ginagawa ko lalo na sa movies na iba ang language. Pa suggest na lang kung may mas madaling procedure.

binili ko yun basic smart tv lang 32" with hdr capabilities pang laruan ko ng ps4 lang sa kwarto
panalo for the price compared sa similar feature na rival kaso compared sa os ng LG sobrang bagal lang ng loading time and nakakamiss yun magic remote. good thing meron akong wireless keyboard na may mouse

Ay ganun? Yellow pala pag yung .srt lang? Mostly pa man din sa movies na meron ako eh di embedded yung subs, laging .srt (pwera sa mga anime na mkv format tapos soft subs)

@yahik027, lahat ng srt file na sub na na-try ko yellow talaga kahit i-edit pa yung srt using subedit (change size,font, color) yung default pa rin ng tv yung mag-a-appear. Wala rin akong makitang option sa menu ng tv para ma-customize yung subs. Updated rin firmware nung unit ko (55p61us).Time consuming mag convert ng srt at mag remux ng video (mkv)

Nakapag-order na ako ng P6US sa R*******'s Appliances. 15 working days daw ang process. Sana okay yung dumating na unit.. Pero sabi daw nung Sales Agent eh pa-phase out na daw yung unit. Tama ba sila na pa-phase out na nga talaga nga P6US?

Other work around is gamit ka nalang ng Android box with Kodi. XD May Mi Box 3 kasi ako from my previous setup (PC monitor + Mi Box). Macucustomize mo yung subs sa Kodi pero dagdag gastos yung may separate box ka pa pero atleast pag hindi na iupdate yung OS ng Mi Box you can buy a new one unlike pag sa OS ng TV ang di na iupdate need mo ng new TV. So far kasi nababasa naman lahat ng builtin media player ng TV lahat ng movies ko kaya sa TV directly na nakasaksak yung external HDD ko instead of the Mi Box. Pero baka magswitch back ako sa Mi Box for movie viewing kasi mas maganda yung UI at nakadisplay pa yung cover art ng movie unlike sa TV na file manager lang puro folder nakikita mo.
Pero worth it naman if ayaw mo ng OS ng TV kasi Android TV yung Mi Box at supported ang Chromecast features. Feel ko nga mas maganda yung algorithm ng Mi Box compared sa builtin na Tcast(?) ng TV kasi nagcast ako ng 1080p video using VLC eh mejo naglalag unlike pag sa Mi Box ko cinast e mabilis.
