Cannot comment about TCL 55p8m dahil Hindi ganyan model ng TCL ko. Mine is the 55 C6, the one with built-in Harman Kardon soundbar speaker. So far OK naman ang Wifi, auto-connect sya after turning ON. Mabilis naman mag connect...

^ salamat Sir ung WiFi kasi namin nasa taas then nasa baba ung TV Madalas disconnected sa Netflix kasi po. Naisip ku baka dahil malayu sa router.

Good day po mga sir, sa mga nagmanual update gamit yung Brazil firmware.
Nasasave nyo ba yung channels after automatic/manual scan? Nadedetect nya kasi na me channel na nasagap pero after ng process walang nasasave na channel
I used V342 na firmware from the tips dito.

Share ko lang experience ko:
Bought our TCL LED50P8SUS Last December from Lazada. It has been a great experience when it comes to Picture Quality! But issue lage na experience ko is nagrereset yung time setting lalo na yung TIMEZONE.. Takenote kahit nakasaksak sya sa UPS whether totally unplug or plug same issue. Basta i-off/on mo sya nawawala settings ng time.
Come evening July 5. When i turned on the TV Walang TCL Logo.. I thought baka nagloloko lang firmware kasi recently nag update pero nagamit naman ng ilang weeks.. Then i tried to reboot maybe 2-3 times nag push through naman. Nakapanood pa ng ilang oras..
Then came the following morning same thing happened.. But this time kahit ilang on off mo sya ayaw na talaga mag boot.. Backlight nalang nag on kahit gaano katagal mo sya ibabad ayaw na talaga. Same day i called TCL.. Heres the plus side, napaka bait at helpful ng CS nila.. They texted me and asked for photos ng tv, serial, model, lazada transaction and after 1 business day nag text na sakin to confirm may info para sa REPLACEMENT. Though might take 1-2 weeks daw, and kapag wala daw available same model, they will replace with better one.. So hopefully maayus na yung replacement, and hopefully UPGRADE!

Pet peeve ko rin yang time/time zone reset na yan. Nagkaroon ng time na youtube and google play was not working except for Netflix. After repeatedly troubleshooting, correcting the system time solved the issue.

that's one possible issue, baka masyado malayo ung wireless router sa TV na naddrop ung connection.

usually may mga ganyang issue lalo na sa recent firmwares, i suggest that you try other firmware, like v351 or v352 from North America servers
here's one that i found from European servers

Hello, got my 43p8m delivered and very happy with it! Tanong lang sa mga naka sky cable, anong code ginamit nyo para magmatch ng sky cable remote sa tv? Walang gumagana dun sa manual ng sky digibox eh

Saan kaya problem nang ghosting sa local cable channels? Ang hirap basahin ng mga texts parang may double image. No problem sa ibang source pag local channels lang. Model is 65A8S using coaxial cable.

@subsistence ang pinagkaiba lang aside sa itsura, P8S has wide color gamut, mas marami ung napoproduce na colors.
Issue ng tcl p8m/a8, ung HDR kasi overexposed ung skin tone at washed-out ung colors. Pero ang temporary fix dun is may iturn on lang sa setting na mode. So every time manonood ng hdr content which madami sa netflix e laging iturn on ung mode na un.

Mga sir, may nakaexperience ba sainyo na nawawala yung signal when playing console games like ps4 and xbox? Mawawala sya for a second or two then babalik. It happens multiple times in a gaming session. A8 user po. Thanks.

@dc_sais unplugged and replugged cables, changed cables and ports. Same pa din. Both on ps4 and xbox one s. Randomly flickers like parang nawala ung signal. Is this a defect na pwedeng ipa warranty? Ty sa mga inputs.

hingi sana ako experience nyo sa TCL 50p717. Nabili ko na sya sa @b3n50n for 25,735.
Para sa parents ko kasi to replace yung LG TV na may mga severall white dots na kasi. Pwede pa ba maayos to?

nakukuha ko lang din sa mga TCL forums bro, try mo sa whirlpool forums, dun kasi kadalasan madaming users around the world na ngsshare ng mga nakikita nilang firmwares sa iba't-ibang countries.
