personal experience ko sa bendix, brake dust lang naging problema; and squealing noise during time of replacement. other than that tahimik naman and di naman lumalamon ng rotor (exaggerated nanaman sila dito).

I encountered overheat last weekend and yesterday have my radiator assembly and bypass tube replaced for an innova 2005 automatic and it is now under observation (new coolant and cap also) After wards I checked and test drive kung ok . After test drive of around 10 to 20 min and went back to mechanic place and check the reservoir and radiator . Upon checking small amount lang ang dinagdag (might be less than 20 ml)
This morning I am expecting not to put any refill in the reservoir and radiator. But when I checked i need to put around 300 to 400 ml of water this morning.
Maybe im just being paranoid about the issue.
Please let me know your inputs
Maraming salamat

May visible leaks ba? Check under your hood for splashes and check your rubber hoses. Also, silipin mo din ilalim if may leaks.
Possible din na hindi properly filled yung new assembly nung nilagay nila and hindi na bleed properly kaya ka nag dadagdag.

this ...
try mo muna after maybe 20k km driving (1 hour) x 5 intervals add lang ng add.
if not, di lang na bleed yun hangin ng maayos, so kukuha talaga tubig sa reservoir yan
nangyari yan sakin recently lang nung magpalit ako ng rad, sagad yung reservoir, lagay lang ako hanggang FULL, tapos the next day nagbawas ulit mid mark before full, lagay ulit. ngayon di na nagbabawas

@carlrs @ninjababez
thank you sa inputs . I hope na its just a minor issue.
I will check kung may splashes or anything out of the blue.
For clarification:
1. After installation of new radiator assembly + bypass tube
2. The mechanic put water to check for leaks
3. After checking they drained it and put coolant
4. They ran the engine , i think its neutral and wait for the thermostat to kick in
5. Afterwards test drive with me
6. Test drive for 20 minutes around less than 5 km
7. Return to shop and check if kailangan mag dagdag .
8. Remove radiator cap at nag lagay lg ng kauntikaunti
9. They declared its ok na
10. I paid for it
11. I still test drive it for about 1 to 2 hours ( around 5 km actual running and just parked in neutral)
12. Went home
13. I checked this morning and added water around 300 ml to 400 ml to the reservoir
I hope this extra info helps
i will update it later

2. The mechanic put water to check for leaks
not really a good way of checking for leaks, di naman bumabakat masyado watermarks unlike coolant na mag iiwan talaga ng stain
personally, mas OK sakin mag test ng di umaandar auto para malaman mo kung kayanin ang idle; tapos rev mo ng 2-3k rpm 1 minute interval for 30 minute (or more)

Just observe and make sure the Rad is full in the morning, it means it has vacuum ensuring the Cap is working. Concern lang is if naoverheat ng matagal baka it caused damage to the HG, wag naman sana.

Thank you for the suggestions
I just checked a while ago
1. After putting water in the reservoir this morning
2. I had driven around 32 km from Paranaque to Calamba (arrival at 8 am)
3. I checked this afternoon around 12 lunch (so far punong puno ang radiator at reservoir)
(no need to add water)
I will check it later again
Thank you once again.

what are the signs of worn out tie rods? our casa says our car needs tie rod replacement since it loose. car is 7k mileage old. what are the signs of worn out tie rods aside from a very little play in the steering wheel?

Lagutok especially kapag inililiko steering wheel o kaya nalubak ilang sign. Pwede mo din ipatanggal lang sa pagkamount sa dulo then try kung matigas pa yung ball and socket.

^ I tried yan pero maingay sa makina. Better Motul H-Tech 100 or yung Honda Oil na fully synthetic.

sa tingin ko medyo its too early nga. although madalas ako madali sa pot holes or lubak kaya siguro maluwag na.
meron ba nkakaaalam if same lang ang tie rod ng 2012-2016 kia rio sa new 2017-18 model?
