  ahh buti na lang pinost niyo dito ang advisory, kanina pa ko naiinis at naka ilang reset ng modem.
  mindanao ako and I can confirm slow browsing here, ok lang naman pag nag 1080p youtube pero slow browsing na sa iba't ibang websites.

  dito din caloocan, nag rerequest time out lagi, nag piping kasi ako. kakatawag ko lang sa globe nation wide daw ang issue

  @newbie sir, ung credentials pinalitan? like user name and password mo? always check yan kasi mga mga gagong tech ng globe yan pinapalitan nila pasword and bibebenta sa mga putol na net. kaya after mapalitan ng tech yan itawag yan sa cs para palitan pasword ng ppoe credential mo. nangyari sakin yan 2012 ng globe. at nun 2014.

  tumawag globe cs kahapon sakin dito bahay sab nila is 12mid to 3am daw mawwawala net til 1am my inaayus daw sila. goothing naayos namn nila p nawala na din ung lag sa fb.

  Sabi sakin ng globe center is ung vdsl na 50mbps is 100meters away sa bahay at masyado na daw malayo.. baka daw nasa 35 below ang speed.
  
  while ung line for 20mbps is 49 meters daw and very good range.
  
  Thoughts?? 50mbps talaga gusto ko sana. Kamusta ang ping sa mga games?

  Upgraded to Plan 1899 (up to 20mbps)
  After 2 days, consistent 3mbps lang nakukuha ko.
  
  Before upgrading, sabi applicable sa area pagdating sa technician di daw pala upgraded yung cabinet sa area namin.
  
  I already have the vdsl router but max speed is only 3 mbps. Pretty unfair.

  Naka globe at home ako HG8145v na router, possible ba na palitan yng telephone unit ng globe ng mga nabibili sa handyman? Any specs na kailangan ko hanapin para gumana? Thanks

  ^ may bayad din naman converge static IP maliban lang sa business lines AFAIK.
  Kahit anong ISP naman may bayad mag static IP...

  we'll i had it free with Globe for more than two years. it was one of the selling point of the agent back then - bundled free static IP.
  
  its not really about the static IP per se. its about the integrity of what they have told me - Free Static IP.
  
  even if it is not free sa converge ICT, at least i know it is no free. Its is the free static IP that keeps me with Globe. but in the absence... Converge ICT offers better package.

  it's Globe's support that accidentally removed my static IP... so if it would be as horrible... i'm used to it.

  may be just like SkyBB back then. but I survived. At least the plan was intact for the whole duration of their service. not an item trimmed off.

  hindi ko pa nakausap... after more than 2weeks of "monitor within the next 24-48hrs", kanina lang sinabi na need ko na daw magbayad kung gusto ko bumalik yong static IP ko.
  
  pinapa-terminate ko na. stressed na ako.

  Hindi maibabalik yan ng tech support mas lalong walang magagawa retention diyan. Maibabalik lang yan kung magpapa punta ka ng Engineer ni globe o yung de kampana nilang technician.
  
  Kaya yung Static IP na ten years na ingat na ingat ako. Kada pa-upgrade ko ng plan pinasasama ko sa contract ko yan para kung may aksidente sure na ibabalik nila
