    Nung nag umpisa tayo kay globe 2Mbps pang pinaka matulin nila ubod pa ng mahal. Hahaha

  • PLDT FIbr plan completely sucks now! I want to know your experience using PLDT and Globe Fiber Internet if anyone here have used both. Planning to change subscription of Internet And Telephone.

  • Sa mga plan 1699 dito na galing DSL at namigrate na to fiber, ano na ang speed ninyo? Checking sa website ng Globe, ang plan 1699 nila is up to 150 mbps na. Yung speed ng sakin is naglalaro lang sa 90mbps.

    Nakita ko na issue ko. Yung LAN cable ko di kaya ang speeds > 100 mbps. Lumang cable na bigay pa sa office kasi yung gamit ko. Nagspeed test ako over wifi and ito ang result.

  • @xMaJox good to know you fixed it; getting capped at around 94 Mbps is usually an indication that you have a problem with being limited to 100 Mbps. That's about the maximum you can get from Fast Ethernet (100 Mbps), the ~6 Mbps goes into protocol overhead.
  • @Aplha_One Yup. Buti nga I tried the speedtest sa phone kaya nalaman ko may difference. I also checked my account in my Globe at Home app and reflected na rin doon ang updated speed. Thank you!

    Either yung cable yung may problem or baka yung lan port nung router is limited lang to 100 mbps(older and cheaper routers usually have this limit).
  • Our internet speed is now higher between 40-46mbps. Pero nawala yung info sa new GAH app and the old app shows only 5mbps. I'm not complaining lol. As I know, di pa kami fiber so di ko alam until ma issue ang latest SOA kung ano yung plan description whether 35mbps or na align na sa 50mbps.

    Iniinvade na din ni Globe ang area namin. They are now installing NAP boxes at susyal. May paposte pa sila. Hehe

    Ask ko lang po if yung plan 1299 or 1699 ba nila, may landline na bundle po ba?

    Yes. Every plan they have from slowest to 1GBPs internet speed all includes telephone.

    not anymore, only plan 2499 and higher only comes with free landline.

    plan 2099 and lower can only have landline option if you avail the addon for 99 pesos.

    still, with existing subscribers on plan 1899 and lower that comes with free landline can still keep the free landline with upgraded speeds on their respective plans. example old plan 1699 subscribers can upgrade their speeds to 150mbps while keeping the landline for free, while new subscribers with the same plan will not have landline and have to pay additional 99 pesos a month at the top of their msf if they want the landline.

  • Pag nagpaterminate ba sa Globe, aalisin din ba nila yung DSL wiring? Nakapag-install na kami ng converge eh, worried lang ako pag pinaterminate ng globe tas aalisin pala nila yung wiring, baka magalaw nila yung wiring ng converge haha.

    afaik kung within contract ka they will get your DSL modem, phone and outside wirings. pero you can always decline. pag may dumating ng tech pwede mo naman biliin or sabihin na wala yung mayari ng bahay at di pwede pumasok. They'll just disconnect your DSL line sa box sa poste. Ganyan ginawa ko dati. Di na sila nag attempt na bumalik after that.

    * kamusta naman ang Technical Service nila pag nagkaruon ng connectivity problem? mabilis ba ma-resolve ang issue? anung Hotline nila na pwedeng tawagan?

    -Mabilis technical team ng Globe, within 24 hours meron technicians for as long as the problem is NOT areawide.
    - Dial 211 or for Platinum Plans (2499 and above, Dial 02 7730 1888). You can also ask for a tech visit via Globe at Home app - at least dito, you can ask for a schedule of repair. You can also follow their Twitter and FB Messenger Accounts. Lastly, you can visit any Globe Store and have them schedule a tech repair visit.
