@seanok - bumili nalang ako ng 970 evo brand new for 3k. binenta ko nalang sa kaibigan ko yung gigabyte nvme for 3k din. hahaha.

kingston din gamit ko, pero parang nasira siya eh, di ko ma-diagnose ng maayos kasi ayaw niya ma-read kapag nagrerepair ako ng os gamit ang bootable na flashdrive

anong 500GB 2.5 SATA SSD ang mai-recommend nyo? Currently naiisip ko is the 860 EVO pero baka meron pa iba dyan na ok at mas mura.
2.5 SATA lang pwede magamit kasi para sa old PC ko (i5-2400) na walang M.2 slot. -

yeah, either 860 EVO or WD Blue. Ito din dalawa pinag pipilian ko. Ang iba na nakita ko ay Crucial MX500 and Kingston A400

250GB, last week lang nabili pero 98% health na. Galing ako kay WD green 120GB sa games at bootup pareho lang.

Is Samsung 860 EVO 500GB good for OS+Application+Games and what/how is the best partition size distribution?
* * Application: (AutoCAD, Office, Photo/Video editing/playing etc.)
* * Games: Just a few, not much into gaming nowadays (1st person and racing)
* * I do have separate 4TB+1TB HDD for my data and some installed games, will upgrade my old 120GB SSD to a higher capacity (240GB-500GB) -
Has anyone tried Lexar NM500 NVMe (PCIe gen3 x2) m.2 SSD? I believe it uses QLC, similar to Crucial P1 and Intel 660p. The 512GB version is selling for Php 3029 at one of our local online shopping sites... tempting.
It's compatible with my laptop's m.2 slot (PCIe x2 and B+M key). But can't find any reviews from the usual tech sites. -

Im worried 96% na seagate ssd ko wala pang 2weeks. Kumpara sa wd green 18mos. ko ginamit 96% rin. -
^^ catwar20, ilang TBW (terabytes written) na ba? Baka madami na talaga writes? Sakin Crucial MX300 275GB, 97% health after 3 years, pero 6 TB total writes pa lang.
