If you are applying for a tourist visa, then yes! may interview and application ka pa na gagawin.
  • Thank God na-approved ermats ko for tourist visa. 3 questions lang daw tinanong sa kanya...nag-mock interview pa kami ni ermats before the schedule. hehehe
  • Ask ko lang . Meron nakong u.s. visa multipile/indefinite issued 1986 and nagamit lang once for a vacation. Renewal lang ba kailangan dito or apply for a new visa.? Anong requirmemts needed?
Balak ko kasi sumama sa parents ko this coming November to visit my sister there.

No difference in application form to be used. Just renewed my visa together with my wife. Application form questions seem to change per person. Some questions were asked of me that was not asked my wife and vice versa.

I brought bank certificate and other relevant financial docs like itr just in case but it was never asked of me. We took the first time slot available. The consul just asked what i did for a living and when i planned to go to the us. I guess it helped that we go there at least every two years.

Just go to the philippine us embassy website. Everything is pretty straight forward. Just be sure that you have the mandatory requirements that you have to bring (recent picture, passport, application form, confirmation letter and payment receipt).

There were a lot of people that were asked to go have their picture taken because they did not bring one or it was an old picture.

I think pag expired na yun visa, apply ulit ng bago...not sure if there's a renewal process/procedure.
  • wala yatang renewals sa mga visa pre
  • hi mga sir plan namin mag visit ng wife ko at anak ko sa US andun kasi yung sister ko at mag be-birthday yung anak nya na 1 year old sa september pa naman, ang tanong pede ba mag apply na kagad ng visa? yung mother at tita ko na approve kagad sila ininterview sila by group then yung father ko naman is kasama nila then ang nag sponsor sa knila is yung erpat ko, since yung erpat ko madaming country na ang napuntahan dahil pinapadala sya ng company nila so madali lang sa kanya na ma approve then yung mother ko seneior citizen na. Any tips po sa amin since first time pa lang namin mag aaply ng visa?

Apply as a family and state the reason why you're going there. Wag na mag sugarcoat. Kung ano tanong ng consul just answer the question. Wag na mag explain unless they ask you too. Most likely they'll ask the address ng sister mo so be sure that you know the address. Just bring supporting documents just incase they ask for it. Employment certificate, bank cert, proof that you have reason to go back to the Philippines. Hope this helps you out
  • Tinatanong po ba kung gaano na katagal sa work kasi wala pa akong 1 year sa pinapasukan kong trabaho dito sa pinas, si misis din may work din naman pero wla pa sya 1 year sa pinag tratrabahuan nya, yung anak ko naman going grade 2 sa pasukan.

Usually tinatanong.

  • honesty lang. trained ang mga consul to spot lying. they don't care what you lie about but when they get a hint that you are lying disapprove yan kahit ok pa credentials mo.
  • hello po,

ask ko lang if magkakaroon ako ng technical issue, if I rereason ko during the interview for a tourist visa is if ever magkakaroon ng technical problem sa US yung sa work ko?

or wag ko nalang sya I mention???

    salamat..

Single, male, 30yo, walang kahit anong properties, 6 months pa lang sa work (pero 7 years sa industry), IT and construction related job, may relatives sa US (2nd degree), poor travel history (2 countries sa SEA pa lang before US).

    -Relatively high salary
    -May savings
-I will pay for my own trip, New York pa yung sinabi kong planned destination, but I actually end-up going to San Francisco.
-Timing! May mahabang holiday na parating, so may convincing reason bat gusto mo gumala.
    -Chill consul.
-Di ako sa Pinas nag apply? (I don't know kung may bearing 'to since passport naman ang basehan nila. baka nga negative impact pa to dapat)

But honestly medyo hesitant sounding siya nung sinabi niyang approved visa ko, like may "hmmm" muna. lol

In my opinion, i cocomplicate mo lang ung reason. tingin ko lang naman ha. mag didig-in sila niyan ng details at pag na hint nila yung work mo highly employable sa US, baka ma deny ka.

Usually yung mga madali talagang ma approve simple answers, tapos sagutin mo lang yung tanong, kahit one word nga lang eh (like yes or no).
