The PSU Thread: New Products and Reviews

Then last last night, 3x namatay pc ko bigla nagrrestart magisa. and ang sabi Error Loading OS, ayaw na mag boot sa windows and ayaw madetect HDD ko. So gnawa ko kahapon dinala HDD sa knila ulit. ang okay din naman nadedetect ang health status is OK.

Paguwi ko sa bahay, ginawa ko tnry ko ulit, tinanggal ko GPU to test. pero ayaw pa din mag-on. wala power. Tapos meron ako Corsair HX620, 6 yrs old na. nun una ayaw magon nanaman, so inisip ko Motherboard na, pero nun pinalitan ko power cable ng HDD. Nag-on yung PC ko.

  • ^ mukhang psu may problema

  • @Godfather9

Could also be yung C6/C7 states dahil Haswell compatible "dapat" ang PSU. Try mo sir disable sa BIOS yung C6/C7.

Also try removing the videocard muna at siya kasi ang pinaka-lumang component sa system mo. Could also be na may ground / short yung case somewhere.

Hindi kaya AVR ang may problem? You might also want to try plugging straight muna sa surge protector or outlet.

  • @sleepygreepy

As of now, gamit ko Corsair HX620, wala ako problema smooth naman. never na siya nasgshutdown magisa.
  • @fakuryu

Thanks sa link sir, binasa ko. So haswell ready na yung M12II EVO 750w ko. Baka talaga lemon siya :(
  • Diba po skylake and Intel i5 6600k?
  • ^ Skylake sya LOL yung C6/C7 state ay di function sa skylake try to update the bios may issue ang Intel about dyan pag Prime 95 o heavy computation task
  • @silentorange19

Ok, since working naman siya with your Corsair HX620 at normal naman with that PSU, I think may defect nga talaga yung Seasonic M12II EVO unit mo. Pwede mo gawin is dalhin yung CPU unit mo sa shop at dalhin mo both yung HX620 and yung M12II EVO para mapakita mo na nagloloko siya with the M12II EVO.

Try mo nalang pakiusapin na change yung unit, or swap nalang to Seasonic G-650 since halos same naman ang price.

Pero I don't think yun ang problem kasi sabi mo na working perfectly with the HX620. So it really means na may defect yung M12II EVO unit mo.

    FSP Raider 550w
  • Thanks sir godai.
OK lang ba to?

    -- edited by eVampire1 on Jul 28 2016, 10:13 AM
  • well yeah, for me 16 is better than 18. imho mas malakas ang electrical resistance ng 16awg cable kesa sa 18,

    tl;dr youre good.
  • @Sir polka: Outstanding, thank you very much Sir! :)
  • Ask lang mga sir, requirement kasi ng 295x2 28A ea sa 8-pin or 50A total sa dalawang 8pin. PSU ko kasi Superflower 750W Gold.

    Nakalagay sa site:

+3.3V@24A ; [email protected] ; [email protected] ; [email protected] ; [email protected]

    https://tipidpc.com/viewitem.php?iid=40098095

    -- edited by Mark_Glendel on Aug 06 2016, 11:07 PM
  • @Mark

If you looked clearly at the pictures, its clear that the marking on the boxes are Japanese. This means that those are brand new surplus units kaya sila mura. This will also tell you that those units are probably not covered by the Manufacturer's warranty as they are most probably either out of warranty coverage already, or are not covered by any warranty when sold outside of Japan.

Other than that, it is indeed a very sweet deal and I suggest you jump on it!!

Yes. I am almost sure that you can verify it sa 80plus site.

  • Maraming salamat sir godai_yusaku!
    Maraming salamat tpc!
  • Mmm.. Those FSP psu units that the seller is selling (Aurum Platinum, Raider) are all priced so nicely.. Anybody looking for a bang-for-the-buck unit should immediately jump on this!

FSP Raider 650w for only P1,650?!!
FSP Raider 750w for only P1,850?!!
FSP Aurum Platinum 650w for only P3,350?!!

Never mind na malamang eh wala nang manufacturer's warranty!! These units should not be passed up!!
  • High reliability Japanese capacitors? You know, after my long rant from that Corsair review last week, I am starting to think differently about capacitor quality. You could say my eyes have been opened to a stark realization... the bad old days of capacitors dropping dead left and right are mostly over, except for the "off the back of a white van," brands that are as awful as ever. No longer are the Japanese parts the only good parts in the universe, and they're now often made near the Chinese parts we've been bashing left and right since capacitorgate was a thing fifteen years ago.
Think about that number. Seriously. Fifteen years is a boatload of time... longer than the lifespan of most electrolytic capacitors, regardless of whose factory they came out of. The big Chinese names have had time now to iron the wrinkles out, and technology has improved. The whole thing started with a formula that got copied down wrong, and that formula likely hasn't been used in ages by the major Chinese brands. Ltec, Teapo, OST, Capxon... when was the last time any of you saw one of these fail? Wait, let me answer that. The last ones I saw failed were the OSTs on one of my Asrock 939Dual-VSTA motherboards. Those came out in 2005. Ten years ago, when I was just getting into my thirties. Folks, you don't stay in business by not addressing issues like this.
No, I think for at least the past five years I've been unnecessarily harsh on the Chinese capacitors. My scoring on them is going to change starting today. I'll likely start looking at them like I do fans... if what I see is decent, no scoring penalty. If what I see, however, is obviously cheap crap; that's when I score.

  • @godai_yusaku
  • @nicdsgn

Naisip ko, kung yung 80+ platinum can save me 300php/month.
