Mukang pass na ako sa sharkoon. Hindi japanese caps gamit. Sad.
High reliability Japanese capacitors? You know, after my long rant from that Corsair review
<click here for link> last week, I am starting to think differently about capacitor quality. You could say my eyes have been opened to a stark realization... the bad old days of capacitors dropping dead left and right are mostly over, except for the "off the back of a white van," brands that are as awful as ever. No longer are the Japanese parts the only good parts in the universe, and they're now often made near the Chinese parts we've been bashing left and right since capacitorgate was a thing fifteen years ago.
Think about that number. Seriously. Fifteen years is a boatload of time... longer than the lifespan of most electrolytic capacitors, regardless of whose factory they came out of. The big Chinese names have had time now to iron the wrinkles out,and technology has improved. The whole thing started with a formula that got copied down wrong, and that formula likelyhasn't been used in ages by the major Chinese brands. Ltec, Teapo, OST, Capxon... when was the last time any of you saw one of these fail? Wait, let me answer that. The last ones I saw failed were the OSTs on one of my Asrock 939Dual-VSTA motherboards. Those came out in 2005. Ten years ago, when I was just getting into my thirties. Folks, you don't stay in business by not addressing issues like this.

@dudidaga
Pero I would recommend going for 620W PSU para may allowance ka for future videocard or CPU upgrades. Parating narin kasi ang AMD Vega so baka may plans ka mag upgrade ng GPU in the next 1-2 years. At least ready ang PSU mo for a higher TDP videocard.
Official Mini-ITX Thread (See Page 1 for Info)
<click here for link>
Pero I would recommend going for G650 para may allowance sa future upgrades.
- Seasonic G-550 = Php 3,850
- Seasonic G-650 = Php 4,650
For Fractal Node 304 I really suggest getting the Seasonic G-series instead of S12II series. Malaking hassle ang cable management sa totoo lang and you will be glad you bought a semi-modular PSU.

Price, reliability, and practicality, go for Seasonic S12II / M12II 520 watts. If you plan to do heavy overclocking and/or use 2 GPU's, get the 620-watt variant.
For reference on how much power current high-end PC's draw

baka kapusin ang amps ng 12v rail. consider as well the degradation and decreased output of psus over time.

800w or more. Kapag
enthusiast ang sinasabi natin, high-end ang piyesa, doble pa yung GPU.

Di pala dapat "and/or".
Pero kung single GPU setup, whether or not may overclocking, I'm confident with the 520 watts. Nakapag-testing na ako ng Core i7 6700K + GTX 1080, around 300 watts lang during gaming.
May pasobra na pala ang mga PSU. The Seasonic S12II 520 watts can deliver up to 588 watts as tested by Hardware Secrets. More expensive / better quality 500-watt PSU's has more overhead
800w or more. Kapag enthusiast ang sinasabi natin, high-end ang piyesa, doble pa yung GPU.
Wala namang industry standard that clearly defines the hardware requirements of a PC enthusiast.

Suggestions lang sir sa PSU:
- Seasonic M12II EVO 620W 80+ Bronze
- Seasonic G-650 650W 80+ Gold
- Seasonic X-650 650W 80+ Gold
Para may allowance ka for Core i7 overclocking and pairing with high-end GPU tulad ng GTX 1080 or higher.

But I'm sure mauubusan ka muna ng harddrive bays sa case before needing to get a more powerful PSU dahil sa extra harddrives. So hindi siya magiging problema even with a 650W PSU :-)
Yung exception siguro is kung plan mo mag watercooling sa PC or mag dual GPU setup. In that case mas safe to go with a higher wattage PSU tulad ng 750 watts. Kung plan mo mag add ng second GTX 1070 sa PC mo for 2-way SLI then better go with a 850 watt PSU at the minimum.
Yung maganda din sa NAS may dedicated PSU and cooling ang drives mo and may option ka to setup the drives in a RAID array.

I admit medyo mahal ang NAS especially the 4-bay ones.
Kung kailangan mo lang ng expandable local storage also take a look at the Mediasonic Probox / Proraid enclosures. Pwede mo sila ikabit sa PC through USB 3.0 or eSATA. Mediasonic also sells PCIe-to-eSATA cards in case walang eSATA ports yung motherboard mo or if you need 2 or more eSATA ports.

Question lang mga sir.
Ano ba ang lifespan ng PSU? Ang gamit ko is an AcBel 500w na PSU for the past 4 to 5 years. Planning to upgrade my whole rig from Intel to AMD.
Mobo - MSI 970 Gaming
Procie - AMD FX 8320e
VC - Palit GTX 750i dual fan
Any inputs would be appreciated. TIA!

@freakyrob13
As long as naka plug-in yung PSU, may charge naiiwan sa capacitors niya. So kapag i-turn-off mo yung PSU switch sa likod it takes a few seconds para completely mawala ang power. Mapapansin mo na yung motherboard lights mo will glow for a few seconds then fade out once mawala ang power sa PSU. This is normal BTW :-)
