Did you input it correctly? The recommended PSU for you is 280 W.

    Load Wattage: 230 W
    Recommended PSU Wattage: 280 W
    +3.3V | +5V | +12V
    9.5 A | 9.0 A | 16.9 A

I would still recommend you to upgrade the PSU. 400W and above, 80PLUS certified, any brand.
  • Thanks baka nga may mali..
May avail ako corsair vs450 sadly 14pin yung power ng fsp gawa siguro for lenovo units only
Nagsearch ako panu maconvert wala pa ko nakikita. May separate 4pin power sya for sata
  • @ronma

Those sites are far from accurate. They provide too high estimates for you to be conservative and therefore err on the side of over estimating. Eto ang breakdown ko:

    i3 7100 = 51W
8gb 2400 ram = 30W (including the motherboard and peripherals)
    1050 = 75W
    3 LED fans = 10.8W (0.3A x 12v x 3)
    2 x 500gb hdd = 20W

That's only a total of 187W with everything running at full clip. You are most likely only drawing around 140W under sustained load so your 280W FSP PSU is more than enough. Like you said, it is working fine. So no need to worry in my opinion.

Your PSU is likely the FSP 280-50EPA pulled from a Lenovo ThinkCentre. That is actually a decent OEM PSU with 18A on the 12v rails and with active power factor correction (A-PFC). While it uses an outdated topology, it is in fact better than most surplus "true rated" PSUs being sold around here.

  • Yes , motherboard ,processor and the psu comes from think centre, kakacheck ko lang meron pala
24 pin to 14pin available sa online shop. Pero
Thanks sa mga output. Keep ko muna to until i decided to upgrade my pc.
  • @wootxiv

    i3 7100 = 51W
1050ti = 125W (assuming your model requires PCIe power)
    1 TB HDD = 10W
    8gb 2400mhz ddr4
    asrock H110M-DVS 1151 = 30W
    6 rgb fans = 21.6W (0.3A x 12v x 6)
    rakk hawani

    Total : 238W

Parang sobra sobra naman yung capacity ng PSU mo for your setup - even if your KTop PSU actually delivers only 50% of its claimed capacity kaya pa eh at may reserve pa. The thing is hindi ako familiar sa PSU na yan eh so i am just guessing based on what the label says and assuming a wide margin of error. Basta wala kang reboots and/or hangs while using your PC, particularly when gaming, then it should be ok.

Wait ka na lang for some of our experts here to chime in on what they think of your particular PSU.
Pa minsan minsan may mga good quality 2nd hand na PSU in the 450w range na sumusulpot sulpot.

  • kamusta quality ng Thermaltake maganda ba?
  • kamusta quality ng Thermaltake maganda ba?

depends sa model range. I've been using a Thermaltake Toughpower for more than 5 years and it's still going strong. I heard the low-end Litepower range isn't so good. if you can afford a Toughpower Thermaltake, go for it.
  • kamusta quality ng Thermaltake maganda ba?

Litepower units are not worth it.
    Realpower units are decent.
    Toughpower units are tough.

Sadly, di nila kaya tapatan yung 5-year local warranty ng Seasonic units.
  • Just bought corsair sf450 and nakalagay 7 years warranty. Is that true?
  • Just bought corsair sf450 and nakalagay 7 years warranty. Is that true?

    Yes.

    1 year local distro warranty.
    +
6 years manufacturer warranty (you have to send it back to Taiwan for RMA)
Thanks

  • The Supernova will be more than enough to power that new VC. Have fun!
  • Guys,

Phenom II 955, quad core 3.2mhz
    Gtx 760 Ti
    4 x 2gb DDR2
    1 x 1Tb western digital (blue)

My problem is, yung 4pin atx ng psu ko is biglang nagmelt, then di na ma-on pc. Yung 4pin atx socket ng mobo is looking fine

I tried to clean the 4pin socket ng mobo, and insert another 4pin atx ng psu = melted ulit after 2 weeks.

What seems to be the problem kaya biglang ng melt ung 4pin?

Please take note of my psu. I think mukang kaya niya yung load since hindi siya nagsshutdown or restart ng kusa
  • Good am folks. Need your opinions if I could stick with my current PSU which is Thermaltake 630W Smart SE with the following specifications below or I should upgrade to a PSU with higher watts or better efficiency like Seasonic e.g.

Current PSU: Thermaltake 630W Smart SE

    Specs:

    Ryzen 5 1600 3.7ghz 1.3v
Galax GTX 1080 EXOC 8GB stock clock
    MSI Mortar Arctic B350m
    G Skills 2x8GB Trident Z 3200 (Stock clock)
    1 x WD Green 120GB SSD

Either your Mobo is grounded or your casing has an airflow problem.

Nope. If your setup is stable then you don't need to get another PSU.

My problem is, yung 4pin atx ng psu ko is biglang nagmelt, then di na ma-on pc. Yung 4pin atx socket ng mobo is looking fine

There is something wrong with your setup sir. It seems to me yung motherboard mo is not designed to accept 125W TDP processors like Phenom II 955 Black Edition, and the board is trying to draw too much power (kaya siguro nag melt ang 4-pin). Ano yung motherboard mo sir?

I tried to clean the 4pin socket ng mobo, and insert another 4pin atx ng psu = melted ulit after 2 weeks.

How were you able to insert another 4-pin ATX connector from the PSU? Yung Seasonic S12II 620W PSU only has a single 8/4-pin CPU power connector. So I assume kung natunaw na siya, wala na dapat magagamit na extra. Gumamit ka sir ng some kind of adapter or did you use a different cable from the Seasonic PSU?

Mas maganda sir kung share mo sa amin ano yung motherboard na gamit mo and also ano yung cable ng Seasonic PSU ang naka-plug sa motherboard. If you can take a screenshot of the motherboard connector / plug ng PSU mas makakatulong :-)
  • Need help.

    corsair SF450 by the way.
