sabi nila, pag video daw eh canon ang medyo lamang, pag pic naman eh nikon...
d3400 and 1300d are both ok.. depende nalang sayo kung san mas ok sa kamay mo ang mga pindutan..

Thank you for your suggestion. I already got the Sony A6000. So far I like the results.

Talaga bang ganun iyon? Paano ko magiging focus lahat ng edges ng frame si DSLR ng hindi makokompromise ang sharpness using F/11 or F/16?

Pahingi lang po ng knowledgable input mga sirs

iPhone 6S - , F/2.2, 4.15 mm, 1/30 seconds, ISO 125, auto white balance, Flash did not fire (original Image link: <click here for link>)

Canon EOS 1300D - out of the camera jpeg: F/8, 50mm, 1/50 seconds, ISO 3200, auto white balance, flash did not fire (original image link: <click here for link>)

  • ^ Dahil po sa sensor size yung wide depth of field ng smartphones. For example sa micro four thirds system merong 2x crop factor when compared to Full Frame 35mm sensor. Bale yung Micro Four Thirds system sensor ay 1/2 size ng 35mm so let's say it's 17mm sensor size. So lahat ng focal length and apertrure ng Micro Four Thirds ay need mo i-multiply ng x2 para makuha yung full frame equivalent. 50mm F/4 lens when used with Micro Four Thirds is equivalent to 100mm F/8 in Full Frame. In a smartphone, example iPhone 6S, the smartphone has a sensor size of 1/3 inches. That is more or less a 7x crop factor compared to full frame. Bale yung iPhone 6S is using a 4mm F/2.2, yung full frame equivalent nya is 28mm F/16.. So when compared to your DSLR na Canon which usually has 1.6x crop factor na may 50mm F/4, the fullframe equivalent is 80mm F/6.

    iPhone 6S
    28mm F/16

    Canon 1300D + 50mm F/4
    80mm F/6

    Canon 1300D + 50mm @ F/8
    80mm F/13

Ayan yung rason kung bakit mas wide yung depth of field or hyperfocal distance nung smartphone compared sa DSLR mo. So kung gusto mo sharp lahat use F/16 on DSLR. In terms of sharpness naman on F/16 nakadepende din yan sa lens, meron kasi yung mga lens na sa center lang mataas ang sharpness tapos mejo di na sa edges.

  • Maraming salamat ng marami sir! Naiintindihan ko na sa wakas
  • Kakabile ko lang ng Canon M50. I dont know where to start. Pt and shoot ako dati. Canon SX50
  • Sorry kung OT, delete ko na lang po kung bawal
May alam po kayo na photo printing sa wood yung mga size ay:
    36" x 12"
    24" x 36"
  • Guys, ano masuggest nyo maganda, reliable, but not super expensive lens adapter para sa Canon lens ko iconnect sa Sony mirrorless cam?

By the way, I'm still thinking if mag Sony mirrorless cam in replacement to my 6-year old Canon 70D. Medyo nagkaka issue na kasi ung 70D ko, ung long time SD Card na gamit ko dati walang error nalabas pero ngayon minsan di na maread, then kahit full charged ang batteries pag ginamit ko na biglang nag empty batt. Tsaka may times na ung pics na captured ng 70D ko, minsan half lang ng picture ung nalabas pag view ko sa smartphone or laptop, which is dati di naman ganun.

Inisip ko if mag Sony mirrorless cam ako, sayang ung Canon STM Lenses ko. I read a lot of good feedbacks sa Sony mirrorless cam, less sa Canon.
  • @mmb101

That sounds more like the SD card wearing out, , same with the batteries. Just replace them with new ones, and will cost much less than a brand new camera.

Getting a new camera is only worthwhile if your current one has severe or un-repairable issues, like my sister's D5100 with worn-down shutter mechanism.
  • @awakeruze: sana nga sd card and battery issue lang. di ko pa kasi natry bumili new sd card and battery to check and determine if sd card and battery issue.

if in case na ung nga issue, cheaper pa rin instead of replacing camera. 2 of my sd cards kasi ganun (sd card 1 is 6-year old, sd card 2 is 3-year old, both transcend), then 3 batteries (battery 1 is 6-year old, battery 2 & 3 are 5-year old).
  • @all

Ano po mas ok for newbie?
    Nikon D3500 or d5600?

    Thanks po

  • mag Sony A6000 ka na lang, for the same price siguro or less sa mga binaggit mo, you can have the portability with same or more outcome performance.
  • hello mga sirs mag tatanong lang, ano recommended na camera for a 9 y/o? yung anak ko kase gusto magjoin for the first time sa photography sa school. salamat.
  • ^ Sa dami ng cameras ngayon, it really depends on your budget, not with his age. Digicam ba or DSLR need? CamPhones are the easiest to use nowadays. May apps na din for manual settings.
  • ^ kaya na ba sir ng mga 15k na budget? or less than 10k? baka mawala lang kase eh. Digicam siguro? thanks in advance.
  • Maybe a second hand prosumer/bridge camera?
