Can't comment on Prolink since ala pa ako experience sa brand na yan. Perhaps other members can chime in and offer some insights.

Kaya naman yan. But honestly a Corsair VS450 or a FSP Raider 550 would be better for your setup. A Seasonic Eco unit would also be a good choice. The CM Elite is not exactly known for its durability..

Good am to all,
not sure if this is the right forum pero eto po tanong ko, ano po recommended psu wattage para sa setup po na ito:
Processor: Intel Core i5 4460 3.2-3.4Ghz 4-Core
Motherboard: Asus H81M-A
Ram: G.Skill Ares (Dual) 2X8gb 1600 CL9 (F3 1600C9D 16GAR)
Videocard: Palit GTX 750 Ti StormX Dual 2gb ddr5
HDD: Seagate 500GB + Seagate 1TB (both SATA 6Gb/s, 7200 rpm)
CDRom: Asus DVD combo
Case: Corsair Carbide Spec 01 with 5 120mm Fans (5 LED Fans)
Misc: 2-4 usb 2.0 devices + 2-4 usb 3.0 devices connected (mouse,keyboard, webcam,etc..)
i tried using online PSU calculator and the result was almost 400 watts, should i go with it or go with higher wattage (if ever i want to upgrade some parts?)

ok lang ba yung psu na vs450
Pros
Excellent ripple suppression
Can deliver more than 450W
Plenty of connectors for an entry level product.
Decent soldering quality
Sleeved cables
Good looking
Affordable
Cons
Low quality capacitors (-2)
Voltage regulation could be better (-0.5)
Final comments: The Corsair VS450 provided some good results in the load tests, and has plenty of connectors for a more affordable product. However, the use of CapXon capacitors could be a concern for long term reliability.

Usually, they differ in the components used

Modular kasi ang evo

@jahy420
EVO improvements:
-gold plated current terminals
-full honeycomb frame construction (unlike intake fan grill vent for non-EVO)
-fully modular (sa non-EVO fixed yung 24p connector)
pero nabawasan ng 1x8p (full) pati 1x4p peripheral sa connector count than the former.
more or less pareho pa ring solid build, and same 5-year local warranty.

Hi Mga bossing. TIA :)

@jetr0019
kung essential/ more than enough yung the rest of the components sa system mo, rak pa naman yang VS550 mo. pero kung inclined ka pa sa drives, future upgrade/s and all other add-ons (e.g. fans, front bay controllers, etc.), mag-provide ka na ng at least 650w.
@foxhound_son
can provide as much as 350w, pero safe na yung 300w, and ideal na yung 240w. in short, overrated lagi ang standing ng generics versus true-rated units.
you better purchase a very good 500-550w PSU right away (though may mga nagsasabing enough na yung 450w at a minimum).
bukod sa true-rate capacity, iba pa rin nagagawa ng better components, way better efficiency, lots of basic protection modules, and longer after-sales support for your piece of mind. long-term investment kumbaga.
