kapag low voltage ba wala nang ibang fix?
Meron pa naman..
- Check (and/or replace) the capacitors in the secondary, they might be bloated or dried up already.
- If the secondary capacitors are okay, then the secondary transistors might be failing. You can usually trace which transistor serves which voltage rail by tracing the pcb
- If all the voltages are low, then your culprit is in the primary transistors and capacitors.
Good luck!

Question mga sir,
Kakayanin pa ba ng FSP Hexa 500 watts ung ganitong setup?
P5Q-VM
C2Q @ 3.4ghz voltage @ 1.05
Gammaxx 400 w/ two 120mm led fan
4x2gb ddr2 @ 800mhz
Zotac GTX 660Ti Amp! 2gb (Default clock)
Seagate 250gb 7200rpm
Seagate 500gb 7200rpm
Western 1tb 5400rpm
DVD/CDRW Rom
3 120mm case fans.
Kase laging nag bblue screen and random reboot windows 10 ko. Tried installing windows 10 to my two 7200rpm hdd and has the same outcome. Wala talaga akog idea bakit ganon.
Thanks.

Resolution: From overclocked 3.4ghz, set it back to 2.8ghz. Now, even with Windows 10 hindi na nag ccrash or bsod.
Ang weird, bakit kaya ganon? Eh matagal ng overclocked yung cpu ko sa 3.4ghz then suddenly nag bbsod na lang, Kahit disconnect ko yung dalawang hdd and rom ganon pa din while overclocked.

How long are you using that Core 2 Quad in an overclocked state ? At what applications or usage scenarios do you encounter the crashes / BSOD ?
That is probably CPU degradation which means you would need to increase the voltage to maintain stability for a particular overclock speed as your CPU ages.
By the way, what stability test do you use to judge whether your overclock is stable or not ?

I think madaming possible causes niyan considering the age of your PC components:
- Yung PSU mo hindi na stable ang power delivery sa CPU 12v rail or nagiging out of spec na yung voltages
- Yung motherboard mo baka mahina na ang voltage regulation sa CPU due to old capacitors / aged circuitry
- Yung CPU is already degraded due to electromigration so hindi na niya kaya ang stable overclock at 3.4GHz like before
Sa experience ko with a long term overclock of Core 2 Duo (5+ years running) if you apply increased voltage and even with good cooling, eventually magiging degraded ang overclock niya over time. So it's either kailangan mo na mag apply ng higher voltage sa CPU para maging stable, or kailangan mo na i-decrease yung overclock to a lower speed.
Assuming ok pa yung condition ng motherboard, PSU, and nag-re-apply ka ng brand new application of thermal paste sa processor... try mo taasan ng konti yung voltage ng overclock mo and see if maging stable siya ulit at 3.4GHz. Otherwise settle for a lower overclock like 3.0GHz ~ 3.2GHz or just run at stock speeds nalang to extend the lifetime of the CPU. If nagamit mo naman ang CPU mo at 3.4GHz for 5 years or more nasulit mo narin siya and maybe its time for an upgrade :-)

Mga Sir ask ko lang, i have a Seasonic G550 Gold PSU, for the last 8months ok naman sya until last february, ang problem nya is minsan di nag o on ang pc ko. Minsan pag di ko binuksan ng matagal, lets say the day after, mag on na naman sya, tinry ko toture test, stable naman, then try ko shutdown yung computer. then power on ulit, ayaw na naman, kelangan ko pa i unplug ng mga 1hour para mag on ulit pc ko. is this psu problem na? tried to replace my psu with generic psu, ok naman walang problem na ganun :(

Sabagay madami ngang factors for that pero sigruo ttry ko muna higher voltage, pag ayaw pa din maybe stick to 3.2/3.0 or kahit stock. Baka dahil nga din sa age ng cpu and mobo kaya nag dedegrade.
Wala pa pang upgrade eh kaya stick muna ko sa setup ko. Although sulit na sulit na siya saken hehe!
Thanks sa input sir, really a big help.

@lowtuneduser
To give you an idea, yung setup ko before (circa 2006) was Intel Core 2 Duo E6320 overclocked to 2.8GHz. Mild overclock lang ginawa ko and I was using 400MHz FSB on an ASUS P5B Plus motherboard. No voltage adjustments sa CPU and maganda naman ang cooling kasi I was using a Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme cooler which was overkill for the CPU. Tama lang din kasi halos 24x7 nakabukas yung PC and wala naman patayan unless may restart or brownout :-)
Pero despite that, after 5 years napansin ko naging unstable na yung overclock at nag random freeze / crash na yung PC ko sa games. So ginawa ko tinaasan ko yung vcore by about 10% pero after a few months umuulit din ang problema. In the end binalik ko nalang siya to stock speed and hinayaan ko maluma. Eventually nasira din yung motherboard due to a BIOS mis-flash (my fault) so napilitan din mag upgrade. Although sa tingin ko kaya pa naman ng CPU mag operate at overclocked speeds for longer baka yung motherboard hindi narin reliable or baka degraded narin ang CPU.
Anyway sir, try mo nalang tweak pa konti yung setup mo. Aim for a lower overclock and adjust the voltage a bit baka maging stable ulit. Suspecha ko baka yung PSU mo narin kasi ang problema and if ever may papalitan ka na component, I would suggest changing the PSU to something more reliable. Hindi kasi ako confident sa FSP Hexa 500 especially kung nasa 5 years mo na ginagamit (Aurum series is much better).
Not worth buying a new motherboard for your CPU but in the worst case... meron parin nagbebenta ng new / old stock ng Gigabyte GA-965P-S3 for Php 3.3K hehe :-)

Mga sir may tanong po ako..nagpa RMA kse Ako na corsair vs450 due to stability issues..like nag didisconnect-connect ung external usb hardisk ko and my main OS drive nagkaka problem din. Nagtry narin po ako ibang hardisk but I experienced the same issue. I noticed na mababa yung voltage reading when I checked sa bios kaya piña RMA ko 3 weeks ago..then kanina nakuha ko na sya kaso hindi nila pinalitan verdict nila working daw..so ginamit ko sya kanina but I experienced the same issue. Anu kaya problema nito nag try narin ako ibang psu (hec raptor 500) and my system is working just fine.. Note: naka Integrated graphics lang system ko and walang ibang system fanS. Thanks sa sasagot. Hehehe

Pangit corsair VS series if possible palitan mo na yan. 2 unit na ang pina rma ko (1 sa akin, 1 sa pinsan ko) 550 at 450 watts. Depende sa psu ang kukunin mo 3 years(low end/budget friendly) - 10 years(high end/Tier 1 psu) umaabot. Kung may sticker ng PCT yun psu mo mabilis lang sa distro na yun. 2-3 days lang mapapalitan agad ng bagong unit.

Di natin pwede sabihin na panget ang isang PSU o PSU line up dahil sa di magandang personal experience. Exception na lang yung mga brand or model series na may proven history of exploding PSU's

Mag ingat kayo sa mga computer na may Bestec ATX-250-12E (ANY REVISION), yan puputok yan isasama pa yung motherboard at ibang components.
Been usin a Bestec ATX-250-12Z (Rev. H5R) with
Pentium Dual Core E2200 2.20Ghz
Corsair XMS2 4GB DDR2 (Dual Channel)
Sony Optiarc AD-7240s
Inno3D GeForce 210 Silent (Pinatungan ng Fan sa ibabaw, 60c is too much for just watching movies
Hitachi Cinemastar 320GB 7200RPM HDD
