Need help fellow TPC\'ers. I\'m planning on buying a new PSU for I\'ve been long using my generic PSU. I was just wondering if Tacens Supero 500W Power Supply is a good buy. Does anyone here tried this? I really need some feedbacks. TIA

i still want to see the efficiency and noise/ripple values.

magkano ba to? meron bang mga 850w?
looks nice, but they could\'ve sleeved the entire cable para malinis, and wala bang shot ng internals dyan? para makita na din quality. or better yet a review para kasama ripples and such.
pero ok yan kung ok ang build, para dami choices

eto po yung 600w internal
the internals doesn\'t look super awesome like Gigabyte Odin. but look at corsair, napaka ordinary yung loob but hanep pala. I hope ganito din yung Tacens. hehe...

hmn, so ano ang continous power nito? sensya na nalilito ako hahaha. pero usually kasi at 50degrees to, kasi iinit naman talaga yan diba po? correct me if im wrong na lang.
so ung 700w is 650w talaga? minus 50w ang true rating?
sana magka review para makita kung clean ang signal. but looks good so far imo

@Cons29:
Tacens Supero is made by FSP Group. see the OEM models in my post.
@tony:
according to pc_reform, Tacens Supero 700 = FSP680-80GCM (OEM).
checking the 80PLUS test reports, it seems FSP680-80GCM (OEM) is indeed FSP Everest 80PLUS 700W (Retail)..
FSP680-80GDM (OEM)

similarly..
Tacens Supero 500 = FSP520-80GCM (OEM) = FSP Everest 80PLUS 500W (Retail)
FSP520-80GCM (OEM)

FSP Everest 80PLUS 500W (Retail)
<click here for link>
Tacens Supero 600 = FSP620-80GCM (OEM) = FSP Everest 80PLUS 600W (Retail)
FSP620-80GCM (OEM)

FSP Everest 80PLUS 600W (Retail)

note: this would all be correct as long as OEM models given by pc_reform is accurate.

just as i suspected all along, and the Everest sells for more.....me iba pang kapatid na psu yan....=)
it is easy to appreciate why this is so.....the tooling for making the casings, the boards fabrication, economy of scale...it is dirt cheap to make psu\'s if you are making them by the thousands, this is economy of scale.....
notice that even the packaging are identical except for the printing.....
a case of the TASK and ENERMAX psu\'s repeated....
frankly, i have seen a lot of dead hec\'s and enermax\'s that i am willing to try something new......
