  i been using hmailserver for almost years na sa akin stable naman siya wala ako problem dapat zimbra gagamitin ko pero not familiar ganu sa linux kaya ng hmailserver ako as of now 300 user labas pa yung nasa site

  may minimum users ba sa $3 like at least 5 user accounts? less than 5, 5 pa rin ang e charge?
  how about sa $10? may minimum users?

  1:1 siya sir regardless kahit isa lang yung kinuha mo. Ang payment method sa amin annual siya and with vat for document purposes, converted na siya sa peso. Meron pa for example kumuha ka ng 5 users na 10$ noong january = 600$ annual tapos this june naisipan ni management kumuha ulit 5 users 10$, bale ang payment niya half nalang = 300$ 6 months. Hindi mo need bayaran yung from january to june kapag nag additional user ka.

  you know naman as IT kung gaano kadumi ang IP add ng telcos natin ^_^

  
  
  correct. pag si globe pa telco mo at dami mong e-mail baka e redirect nila sa ibang ip. patay ka sa spf ngayon.
  kaya zimbra din ako sa vps sa SG or US.
  
  kung on premise talaga sa philippines gusto mo, pwede naman, gawan mo lang ng smtp relay sa vps sa SG or US, $5 lang yun per month, unli users unli domain na.

  gamit ko yan for intra mail lang,
  
  parang napaka basic kasi ng setup nya pero functionality okay naman

  mukhang may IP conflict ka, pde mo tignan sa switch mo or mag arp -a ip_addr ka

  para sa nag hahanap ng Zentyal user (present!), currently using it for a year and half, ok naman sya as alternative for Windows AD .

  yung webmin pala para lang syang typical ng linux/ubuntu server na nilagyan lang ng web GUI.
  
  pero parang nahirapan pa akong gamtiin yung Apache webserver nya at gumawa ng website kesa gumamit ng terminal at mag install ng LAMP, create ng vhost at i enable yung domain via terminal o baka nasanay lang ako. Pati pag BIND

  kung pano ka nag ccreate ng GPO sa Windows AD ganung lang din,
  
  
  at nga pala baka may maka experience ng gantong scenario, pag nag jojoin kayo ng workstation sa Zentyal domain using admin account, mostly na procedure di ba eh ganto,
  
  username: administrator
  pass: (your admin pass)
  
  minsan nag pprompt sya na invalid domain account, (nireset na gumawa na ng bagong admin acocunt ayaw padin) i login nyo lang sa username eh administrator@[your domain name] ayun ok na hehe. FYI

  same with DHCP service sa 2008, pwede ba si Zentyal ang failover DHCP?

  Yes sir ganyan setup ko, ung planta sa Laguna at Bulacan eh naka sync d2 sa Alabang office so ung changes eh d2 na lang sa pinaka prod AD tapos automatic mag sync na lang sa 2 planta namin, different OU na lang para organize.

  Pede yung ganyan sa old version ng Zentyal (Zentyal 4.0)High Availability pero pagdating sa 4.1 - 4.2 tinanggal na ung feature na yan at nag focus sa AD / DC at Email.

  yes sir meron naman kasi ginagamit ko yan sa mga user na hindi joined sa domain like yung mga mobile users pag nag aaccess sa fileserver.
  
  PS:
  Hindi sya pede na backup for DHCP service ng Windows Server dapat same na Zentyal if gusto mo na may failover ang DHCP / DNS

  May IPVPN service kami from PLDT so yun ung ginagamit ko. Pero pede mo naman gawin via site to site VPN (pfsense) in my case kasi wala lang kaming stable na internet connection sa ibang planta kasi remote areas.
