Any advise po? Thanks!
hosting your own e-mail server with your isp ip address? outbound will give you headaches.
buy smtp relay services from provider which has hundreds of ip addresses, or buy several vps and set up your own outbound/smtp relay.
or better shift to gsuite gmail, or office365 email.

Kamusta mga kapwa Sysad? Hirap mag ladder up to senior sysad. Madalas ang hinahanap na nilang skills are familiar sa devops concepts, containers and cloud.

i wont brag about the benefits of having a segmented lan, but it is pain in the ass to have a Flat network
you have to do it right before it's too late.

Make it easy for IT, use a single 10.0.0.0/8 network. If you have a WiFi network, might as well add all employee mobile devices in the same said network :)

eto suggestion.
divide each dept to a smaller block para sa ease of management.
you may also want to allocate another /24 para sa mgmt IPs then another block for server iLos/CIMs.
you have sufficient headroom in case magdagdag kayo ng tao

Hi!
Planning to shift sa IT career.
Thinking of CCNA, Comptia Security or AWS na makakatulong sakin makakuha ng IT job :)
Thanks!

@joefrey

I love OpenWRT (Linux distribution for routers). Whenever I buy routers I make sure they are compatible with OpenWRT. I have several OpenWRT routers I got for cheap from thrift stores and my latest escapade is configuring VPN at the router level.
This are the steps I did to make Windscribe VPN work on my OpenWRT WDR3600 router.

Questions lang po. May nakagamit na ba ng 3rd party smtp server like smtp2go.com? Zimbra Open Source kasi gamit namin as email server with PLDT/Globe as ISP.
Any advise mga boss?

IT Career and Company and why.
1. Company 1 (current company) Role: Senior Sysad L3
- Work life balance (Flexible hours; no time in and time out;2x a week work from home
privilege.)
- No Salary increase for 5 years(puro paasa lang ang management)
- Night differential and overtime pay.
- Large multi-national company (managed service provider)
- Salary is just average compared to current job market.
- Internal trainings / self-paced trainings.
2. Company 2 (hiring company) Role: Senior Systems Engineer.
- Working hours is 8am - 4pm fixed time not flexible. Need to be available as on-call 24x7 for escalation on P1 incidents(kinda stressful, been there already.)
- Salary Package is a whooping 6 figure (mga x2 sa sahod ko ngayon)
- Small company and just started outsourcing here in the philippines.
- Can offer trainings abroad.

Di masyadong stressful, diba?

dapat sahod tumataas dn sabayan man lang ung cost of living.
Option 2 ako.
