Hello! Hope meron makatulong. Yung monitor ko, OK lang pag DVI input, kaya lang pag VGA, wala siyang narereceive--nagsstandby siya.
Tried:
used a different laptop as source, same issue
palit ng display settings sa windows (extended desktop, duplicate, swap main screen, changed resolutions), same issue
disconnected the VGA cable - getting "check signal cable" and when I reconnect to source (laptop), I get "analog power saving mode"
relatively new yung VGA cable--barring any issues dun, any tips on how I can fix it? -

Meron akong Samsung B2230.
Ang power button at menu options eh touch sensitive po. So wala po itong actual na buttons.
Ang problem po eh madalas ayaw siya mag on. Para po mag on siya, kailangan ko bunutin sa saksakan at pinindot pindot yung power button (para bang inuubos ko yung natitirang kuryente habang naka tanggal sa saksakan) tapos isasaksak ko ulit sa kuryente at pag pindot ko ng power button mag o-on na siya.
Ano po kaya ang problem nito? -

From my experience, pag power-related yung issue, it's likely a bloated capacitor. Twice na napalitan yung capacitor ng monitor ko in the course of 7 years, so may lifetime lang talaga yung capacitor na yun.
Either pacheck mo, and kung yun nga problema, it's just a quick fix, papalitan lang yung capacitor and you'll pay around 500+ for the part and labor. An alternative is bumili ka ng capacitor (around 10 pesos) & ikaw na magpalit, youtube mo nalang pano buksan yung monitor mo :)

Di ko alam san ang area dito sa Metro Manila nagbebenta ng mga electronic components, ang alam ko sa Deeco sa Farmers Plaza sa Cubao nagbebenta sila ng mga components. Dun ako nakabili ng caps nung inayos ko monitor ko, pero electrolytic yung pinalitan ko. Pero kung meron nun dun, malamang meron din yang hanap mo - Post deleted #11712581

question lang po, yung monitor ko HP LE1901w hindi madetect yung 1440x900 60hz native resolution nya. nagreinstall na ako ng vga driver at pati na rin win7 pero ganun parin. ok lang po bang gamitin 1600x1024 60hz permanently?
hindi rin kasi madetect ng windows yung make/model ng monitor ko, dahil kaya sa vga to dvi adapter? wala kasing vga port yung pc ko kahit yung kinabit kong vidcard.

Can someone from the masters of this thread help me out please as I've ran out of options in trying to fix my laptop's monitor/display. It's a Lenovo G40-30 low cost budget laptop. Its still working albeit I need a flashlight to view the images on screen because it went too dim on its own to the point that its unusable without a flashlight pointed towards it. If I hook it to another monitor via HDMI, the HDMI connected display(TV) works perfectly but not the laptop's LCD. OS is Windows 10, I've already tried uninstalling/installing display driver rolled back to oldest driver and updated to the latest, updated BIOS but still the problem persists. I've also tried loading up Linuxmint via liveusb to try to check if it's an OS issue but still it's still the same, dimmed display with no option to brighten it up..
Anybody got a clue to help me out please?

Issue: Pinasok ng langgam. Namatay yung langgam sa likod ng panel. Kita sa screen. Nag-assume ako na walang problema kung pry ko lang ng onti at tangalin yung langgam. Tinangal yung langgam. Nagkavertical line sa kanan. Nag black blocks tsaka multi colored lines while half ng screen kita desktop. Tapos nagtotally puro lines hanggang namuti na yung screen.
May tumingin na. Nagalaw daw kasi yung ribbon. Sabi nya panel na daw. Problema wala syang makukunan ng 23" na panel.
Possible din po na pede IPS ipalit dito kung replacement at hindi aabot sa price ng brand new? Kung hindi okay lang.
TN panel po sya LED.

Good morning! may problem din kasi yung 2 units ko, yung isa may display kahit walang time. at yung isa naman, ang hirap mag boot sa malaking pisonet box, replaced na yung switch timer nya pero pag sa cpu switch i on mag bo boot naman...

Hi, I have this old monitor, namamatay siya after 5 mins. natry ko na sa ibang pc and laptop, and palit cable pero ganun paden. Nag experiment ako, tinry kong babaan yung brightness ayun medjo tumatagal lang ng mga 10 mins bago mamatay yung monitor. Maayos pa kaya to? Salamat po sa makakatulong.

LCD ba? malamang sa power supply na yan ng monitor. malamang may bloated caps na.

May Samsung syncmaster SA300 po ako, d ko sure kung defective na sya or magagawan pa ng paraan, nag research na ako mukang ang solution lng ay iupdate ang firmware kaso pag nirun ko na ung firmware update sang sabi up to date daw ung firmware nya.
issue nga pla is nag popower on nmn kaso kapag naka connect sya sa pc or laptop ko black lng wala rin LED light.
tpos madalas eh checking signal cable ang nalabas, sinubukan ko ung cable kung ayos, nagana nmn sya pag connected sa ibng monitor.
please help, sana naintindihan nyo ung mga pinag sasasabi ko hahaha -
Ano kayang problema nitong 23" LG monitor ko?
Working perfectly since December 2009. Kagabi pinower off ko (usually nakastand by) tapos ganyan na. Parang may vertical scan lines tapos naging "8-bit" yung colors.
Tried connecting PS3 and PC, same issue. Yung mismong interface ng monitor ganyan kapag nagpapalit ng input source.
End of lifespan na kaya o pwede ba maresolve? Thanks.
