  My-shopping box strikes again
  
  Ngayon naman mukang nawala na yung package ko. as per status on my dashboard, July 11 pa arrived in Manila ang status. hanggang ngayon wala pa rin sa bahay.
  
  CS acknowledged my concern last week pero hanggang ngayon wala pa rin update kung asan na yung item. Kailangan ko pa naman bukas yung laman nun at mapapagastos pa kami kasi bibili para may magamit.
  
  June 26 ang payment date ko. So 22 working days na, lagpas sa 10-12 working days na guarantee nila.
  
  Mukang kailangan ko ng magpalit ng air forwarder, napaka unreliable na ng MSB

  
  
  Hingi ka na lang ng rebate dahil sa inconvenience. Had the same experience but with pobox and sila nagprisinta na magrebate na lang sa shipping cost ko. Baka lang pwede sayo yan.

  Sobrang delayed ngayon mag deliver ng Forex. July 10 pa na discharge sa port pero hanggang ngayon wala padin. Di din sila sumasagot sa email kung bakit.

  I tried using Jinio. Good experience so far. Kakainform lang ng Amazon na dumating na ang package then mamaya konti nagemail agad ang Jinio na nasa storage ko na ang item. Tinanggal sa box ang item at yun mismo ang tinimbang. Nabayaran ko agad ang shipping fee at wala pang fixed rate.

  This is what I don't like about Forexworld. They keep on changing or adding bank details.

  try galleon.ph they look like an e-commerce website but they are really a buy on behalf service. you can either search on their website or give them a link where to buy the item. They buy the item for you and ship it door to door so zero hassle. mas mura sila sa mga small items compared sa lbc shipping cart and johnny air.

  Same experience so far. Pagkadeliver nung item sa warehouse, nasa dashboard ko na kagad after a few minutes or so. With MSB kasi itakes 3 days bago maupdate yung dashboard ko but siguro dahil wala pang masyadong tao na gumagamit nung service kaya mabilis.
  
  Right now some of the items I ordered (Nomad wallet $5 and Coolabs liquid ultra $4) is out for delivery ngayon which took around 11 working days if it will be delivered today (although for delivery na sa dashboard ko). Not bad na rin.
  
  PS #1: Weird lang but yung Nomad wallet ko na inorder (Wallet na may powerbank for iphone) na classify as non-electronic. Hindi ko na tinanong baka lumaki pa charge so for both item, $9.24 lang din yung paship.
  
  PS #2: Tanungin ko lang kayo guys if namamali din ba classification ng items nyo with MSB?
  Here's my experience so far. Mejo madami na ko naorder na electronics via MSB and ito lang napansin ko:
  
  1. 2 Video cards I previously ordered (Asus strix 390x and Strix 970) were classified as non-electronic ($5.99 sa air shipping). Magkaibang month sya inorder.
  
  2. Since si MSB is hindi talaga nagshiship and nagiinspect or open ng package ng TV's / monitors ang MSB (According sa support nila, nung nasira yung monitor sa shipping, binayaran kasi nila yun ng 100%) so pag may sira sya pag dating, hindi nila daw sasagutin yun but advantage was the monitors I've previously shipped with them eh nasa $5.99 parin yung rate nya for Air. (I've ordered 2 29UM67-P freesync monitors na magkaibang months, same rate pa rin)
  
  3. HDMI and Display Port Cables are classified as non-electronic ($5.99 rin yung rate)
  
  4. Yung PC case na inorder ko without case fans or PSU is classified as electronics (siguro dahil may on off switch sya, baka lang kasi makalusot but of course they are firm na electronics sya nung nag-email ako, baka lang kasi makalusot)

  So kung mag-oorder kayo ng item video card and monitor abroad and ipapaship nyo sya sa MSB, check nyo rin kung ano magiging classification sa kanya. Not sure but siguro ito nga yung proof na masyado na silang maraming items na dumadating that hindi na nila masyado na QA yung tamang classification ng items.

  I'm currently creating a list of merchants na inimail ko regarding kung allowed ang mail forwarder address sa kanila. Wait ko sumagot yung iba then baka lang pwede natin siguro ilagay sa page 1 para lang stay away tayo sa kanila.

  Actually hindi ko sure kung tama ba pagweigh nila talaga sa MSB. Hindi ko lang mareklamo sa kanila pero for instance yung goods weight na nakaindicate sa dalawang 3ft cable na inorder ko is .28lbs which is kasimbigat lang ba ng quarter pounder ng mcdo? I don't think so.
  
  Another is yung video card box ko (390x above) which is nung sinukat ko eh 16x9x3.5 dapat (3.03lbs or 4lbs rounded volumetric weight) imbis na 16x12x6.25 (8lbs) and actual weight na 4lbs imbis na 5.8 or 6lbs na. Kung tama sana sukat nila nasa 1.1K (assuming na class 1 pa rin) or 1.5k (pag class 2 item na sya) which is mas tama kesa sa 2.2K. Sayang yung sukli, laman tiyan din yun.

  Sobrang tagal ngayon sa LBS SC. :( Di pa din updated storage ko yung item na nakuha a week ago. Hopefully maayos na agad. May mga nangyayari na kaya sa customs(c/o PDuterte) or may system upgrade lang talaga sila? If yung sa customs yung case, dapat may issues din yung ibang forwarders diba?

  Try e-mailing or calling them to ask and/or express your displeasure. Let us know their reply.
  
  I just e-mailed them now to clarify whether the UCPB account replaces or is in addition to the Security Bank and Union Bank accounts. Anyone who reads the announcement will probably be wondering about this question, yet it was not stated in the announcement.

  For their customers' convenience, I guess. To be able to accommodate different banks is a plus factor for them yata. But that's immaterial for a credit card user like MasterCard or VISA.
  
  
  I find it pointless to be emailing their members new bank details rather than sending a unified or compiled list of their current supported banks. Mas informative pa nga lagi kapag ganun eh instead of informing us of new bank details.

  If Forex wanted to maximize customer convenience, they would be just adding banks so as to have as many banks as possible, not closing. They would not have closed their BDO and BPI accounts. Must have been some other reason involved, but they're not saying. Maybe some kind of vendetta against BDO and BPI? Or punishment of BDO and BPI for some wrongdoing, low interest rate, or poor service...

  Sabi yata sa LBC yung shipping rate nila included na yung importation fee, pero may additional pag electronic items. Parang ganun yata basa ko.

  Jinio is very straightforward. You can read the rates sa kanilang website mismo. Dalawa lang naman eh "Electronic" and Non-Electronic". They are also particular about volumetric dimensions ng kahon whichever yields the higher weight result ang pipiliin nila. As for electronics... categorized naman mabuti kung anu ano lamang ang kanilang sisingilan ng dagdag na tariff in addition doon sa fixed rate na sinisingil na nila which is $8.49 per pound (kung electronics). They have a special table for this sa site nila.
  
  Non-electronics no problem. Wala additional tariff dagdag sa $5.99 per pound na singil nila. Just pay particular attention sa packaging dimension ng item nyo at baka masyado malaki kasi yun ang magpapalaki ng charges, if ever.

  About 2 years ago, I bought 4 t-shirts na naka-sale sa steam (yung game site). I paid, I think, Php 3,000 including shipping. Pero sabi sa steam, hindi pa kasama dito yung importation tax/duty, etc.
  
  DHL nag deliver sa bahay, nagulat ako Php 2,500 pa daw babayaran ko. No choice kundi bayaran. So, bale wala yung discount sa "sale".
  
  Ang isa pang bad trip, yung t-shirts super nipis. Tipong isa or dalawang laba, luluwag na.
  
  Php 5,500 sa 4 na t-shirts. Nag tapon lang ako ng pera.
  
  Di ko alam kung bakit Php 2,500 yung custom's fee.

  Yun DHL acts as your importation broker. Sila ang nagbabayad ng customs duties in advance for you. Nangyari na yan sa akin kaya I avoided forward shipping services kagaya ng MyUS.com na gumagamit ng DHL to send the items I ordered sa aking doorstep.
  
  Today, I no longer patronize MyUS.com because of that ridiculous tax charges being prepaid by DHL or FedEx.

  Bought another displayport cable and shipped it to MSB. Looks like 5.99 talaga rate nila for cables. Now still waiting for my GPU kung 5.99 pa din ang rate like before.
