may nakapag ship na ba sa inyo ng motherboard from US? tanong ko lang sana kung magkano usually ang shipping fee and tax? planning to buy a motherboard sana thinking na makakatipid ako. motherboard costs 100$ sa US pero dito sa tin, the next best thing with similar specs is P7450. thats basically around P2500 difference. if hnd naman ganun kamahal both shipping fee and tax, i might want to try buying abroad.

@doncorleone^^ regarding the shipping estimate of lbc, it is very arbitrary as of the moment. At times they will measure the whole package (including original packaging and box) - this will lead to higher shipping fees. On other days, they will remove excess packaging and measure the item only. Im assuming that the dimensions you have provided are for the item only so it really depends whether or not they measure it correctly. In cases that the dimensions are contradicting, you could contest lbc through customer service for remeasurement although some say their cs is crappy but i think its bearable

@snowraptor hey buddy, i ordered a console pc this week and sent it to my lbc address. So u could consider that a computer but cheaper at around $300 only. Personally, even though there are lots of freight forwarders thag you could choose from, i think it comes down to both lbc and johnny air. Ive never used johnny air before and neither do i like how their shipping rates are calculated. So lbc, despite of hiccups, would still be the best option for expensive items like yours. Now, the most important thing is the receipt email from lbc informing u that they have reveived a package for u because if the items get lost, if ever, u could file for compensation or etc ( i only read about this but binalik na man daw pera). :) hope we get our computers safely

Wala naman po kakaiba sa computation ng Johnny Air at sila pa mismo nagdidiscount tinanggal sa akin 1 lb din kaya $5.99 agad yun na discount. Nagcconsolidate din sila at wala pa bayad.

@lambnat di po ako updated sa johnny air pero alam ko na minsan ay may dinadagdag sila sa original price na binigay. Rinerelay ko lang ang mga alam ko. Di ko alam kung sa karaan na to o ganoon parin.

Mga sir, I'm not sure if OT but ano naba ok na prepaid card gamitin ngayon?
Currently on BPI's eprepaid mastercard pero notice ko parang may binabawas na silang 500+ pesos dun sa funds ko. this is the 3rd time na nangyari to. Not sure kung sa BPI ang may problema o sa Mastercard. Walang makausap na matino sa CS nila, di rin masagot ng mga physical branch yung tanong ko.
Not sure kung OK sa Paymaya or yung EON. Convenient lang kasi sa BPI eprepaid kasi may savings account din ako sa kanila kaya madali lang magload ng funds via transfer. Pero kung every purchase ko sa US e may cha-charge sakin si Mastercard o si BPI na extra e parang lugi na ata ako nun aside sa renewal fee na binabayaran ko for my ePrepaid.

for those who tried shipping cart (especially to those who have tried ordering massive pc cases), is it ok for them to process big orders? Upon reading their rules on shipping, they can't ship items that are "Automotive parts & accessories – either used or measuring over 18 x 24 x 9" (my order is around 12 x 48 x 7 in). BUT upon using using their "Get Shipping Estimate", I was quoted around 15,000 pesos and was classified as off-sized items. Nacoconfuse kasi ako kasi ako sa ruling nila, pwede ba o hindi pwede mag order ng malalaking item?
Should I try other forwarding company (medyo tinitingnan ko yung Jinio)
