Today i emailed amazon for my sales tax refund. I got my refund in less than 2 hours, reflected na agad sa account ko :)

good day! i plan to order a video card from amazon around $800 and forward it to johnny air , hindi naman ako ma charge for additional import tax ng customs doing so?
although it can be shipped to ph directly, kaso shipping and import will amount to $225 lol. while sa estimate from johnny air will only be around 4k.
was wondering if the estimate from jac and msb will be close to the amount i'll be paying for or may additional/hidden charges pa from customs.
edit: included the amount as i saw yun post regarding the less than 10k e hindi ma tax. this will be my first time using a forwarder so medyo wala pa idea regarding things and hindi available dito locally yun video card na kukunin ko. tia!

make sure to ask them about taxes on high-value items/electronics (usually above $500) aside from the shipping cost. sila na bahala sa customs side if you're using any of the shipping forwarders.

if multiple items tapos sa post office dadaan, minsan kahit 2- 3 weeks apart yan, sabay nila ipapadala yung notice card/s for each package so pag iclaim mo na, doble storage fee charge sa yo. baka tagain ka sa tax kung wala na sa de minimis value yung items mo.

Hi mga sir. I'm planning to buy a mouse sa amazon worth less than 100 usd. what's the best option? 112 pa din ba yung tax (or stocking fee or whatever it's called), ready na akong umorder kasi eh anytime, medyo naguguluhan lang ako kung saan ko iaaddress. thanks!

nanghihingi na pala si NTC ng affidavit regarding sa owner and purpose ng electronic devices. Gamit ko kasi DHL to send the devices from Germany To Manila. SA EU lang kasi released yung binili ko na device

Baka you mean electronic communication devices? Kasi if electronic devices as a whole, it won't make sense kung makikialam ang NTC, say, bumili ka ng video card or the like.

Yes, routers use the 2.4/5GHz frequency spectrum so naturally covered ng NTC yan. But not all electronics will go through the same process.

Ang advice sa akin ni DHL kapag mga devices na regulated ni NTC dapat kumuha muna na ng permit sa kanila para hindi ma tengga sa courier. May alternative ba na way na hindi na dumaan sa NTC? sa Johhny Air di naman ako hiningan ng permit before. Dagdag ko lang kapag wala ka pala permit kailangan mo magsubmit sa courier ng affidavit declaring that you are the owner of the item kasama yung purpose of buying the item, yan yung ginawa ko ngayon and one week na yata naka tengga kay DHL yung item ko

Wala pa ako sa shipment process ni SC pero nakaka stress na. Nakalimutan ko kasi yung password ko so ni rereset ko siya pero walang dumadating na e-mail. May shipment pa naman ako from Amazon due today :(

sa johnny air wala naman din ako naging issue regarding NTC, sa DHL lang ako naka experience ng delay, hanggang ngayon wala pa item ko and according sa clearance officer ng DHL currently checking na ni NTC yung item. 7 days ng delay

Nakakainis SC, dumating yung order kong 1 bag, 1 running shoes (magaan) at isang relo. Yung weight na nakalagay sa cart 8.13 lbs. imposibleng more than 8lbs yun :(
