Something strange is happening in the Steam Winter Sale

On the surface, the 2015 Steam Winter Sale seems fairly mundane as these things go: Good deals, cute comic, but nothing we haven't seen before. But maybe—just maybe—there's more to it than meets the eye. The Steam Sale Detectives on Reddit have discovered a rabbit hole, and at this point there's no telling how deep it goes.

The Steam Winter Sale wrapped up last week, and it was apparently a good one for all involved. Steam Spy estimates that the sale brought in “at least” $270 million in revenue, which is nearly double the amount rung up during the most recent Steam Summer Sale. Note that those figures are estimates based on incomplete data and, as site founder Sergey Galyonkin acknowledged on Medium, therefore “not 100 percent accurate.”

The Winter Sale, like the Autumn Sale before it, did not feature daily deals or flash sales, something that was done as “a better way to serve customers that may only be able to visit Steam once or twice during the 13-day event,” Valve explained. “We also saw this change as an opportunity to showcase a deeper variety of titles to customers each day, while having confidence that any game being highlighted would be at its lowest discount.”

i actually was able to get the game using promo code
omikron on the NA site. i have yet to see if i can activate it on steam. i'll have to see when i get home.

Peeps, medyo slight OT question:
Saan ba pinakamurang bumili ng Minecraft PC, sa Mojang kase USD26.95, so mga PHP1300 more or less.
Sa G2A.com, PHP1,053.08 yung CD key, hindi pa nga lang ako nakabili dito sa website na to, not sure if reliable sya like Steam or Origin.
Baka lang meron pa kayo alam na mas mura pa, nag search na ako pero G2A lang ang lumabas e :)

got 3 minecraft keys from G2A sir. so far sila pinakamura sa mga nakita. Just click lang yung G2A shield para madaling marefund money mo kung magkaron man ng problema.
