pag basic accounting lang hanap mo, quickbooks eh maganda talaga. :) ease of use and may procedure pa na makikita mo.

guys. buhayin natin itong thread. I am user of quickbooks for more than 10years na. but syempre, yun version namin is 10years ago na rin. i bought it from a company in mandaluyong who distribute QB in Philippines. at that time, it is roughly 50k.
Since wala na ako sa company namin, and i am planning to start a small online business, i wanted to have it correct from the start. I am planning to use quickbooks din. However, when i am searching for quickbooks, i find very limited information on the quickbooks for desktop. mostly mga quickbooks online na ang promote nila. Maganda sana, but the quickbooks online basic is really very basic. walang inventory tracking. while the complete one is really complete, pati presyo nya complete din (mataas).
They are still offering quickbooks for desktop which is i think one time 219usd. but there are no info. i emailed, but still waiting for reply.
any insight on this one? should i go for the desktop version? or should i go for the QB online na basic?
Note: Trading business. Mostly online selling ang operation. Capitalization is only around 100k.

Anyone using a bookkeeping app for monthly VAT reporting? I am currently using an excel sheet (libreoffice calc to be exact) but would like to know if there are other free / low cost alternatives for start up / SME companies. It would be nice to automatically populate repeat company purchases rather than copy-paste each one.
