TPC Mountain Bikers Thread (FAQ on Page 882)

  • Mavic ayos din or WTB rims, make sure lang na original and pair mo sa Pillar/DT spokes and controltech/dt swiss or pillar brass nipple, ( controltech gamit ko na nipple maganda kasi yung pag ka low profile niya)
    also ask the seller kung ok ba clearance ng 2.3 tires mo if ever youre going to use wide rims like the ztr flow MK3.

  • Good day mga master!

    Currently po may entry level akong MTB "Trinx X1 Elite" na 27.5. Binili ko po sya para makasama sa mga barkada ko na nag bi-bike din. Tapos na ho-hook na ako sa Trail ride. :) Hindi nag tagal, nag upgrade din po ako pa onti onti hanggang sa mabuo ko itong set ng bike ko ngayon.

    Goupset - Deore M6000
    Fork - Manitou Markhor
    Tire - Maxiss High Roller 2 (Not yet tubeless)

    So far, sa setup ng bike ko happy naman po ako dyan. Pero minsan, pag nakaka kita ako ng mga naka full sus na frame hindi ko maiwasan na mainggit ng konti. Hehehe. Nangangarap din na balang araw maging full sus din ang bike ko.

    Gusto ko po sana humingi ng suggestions and advise kung ano ang pwede ko i target na full sus frame na pasok pa din yung current groupset, fork and tire ko.

    Bale ang target ko is trail ride po sa kahit anong trail dito sa metro like La Mesa, Timberland and others.

    NOTE:
    Medyo budgetarian ng konti pero baka ma kumbinse pa din ang sarili na mag adjust kahit onti. :)

    No idea po kasi talaga sa mga price ng frame kaya hindi ko rin po alam ang tamang budget. Ano po ba ang maganda na mas mataas ng onti sa entry level na full sus frame?

  • Kelangan sir magset ka ng budget, yun kasi yung magseset ng kung ano pwede mo bilhin. Baka kasi may nagssuggest sayo ng 50k worth na frame pero budget mo pala 15k or vise versa.

    Max po siguro 35K sa budget. Magandang klase na din po kaya yung makukuha ko sa ganyang budget? Yung tipong matagal na ulit bago ako magpapalit. :)

    what food to eat po? para mag tuloy tuloy ang magandang pakiramdam ko hehe
    natutuwa ako kasi ginaganahan ako mag trabaho mula ng pagpawisan ako ng matindi. HIndi na ako inaatok sa oras na gaya nito.

    sa 35k, may maayos ka na makukuhang fulsus frame. mag try ka sa FB daming nagbebenta na frame around that price. although second hand ang karamihan. may nakita ako few days ago 19K orbea rallon fulsus frame. check mo baka type mo. ^_^

    Required Hours: 12Hrs to 15Hrs.

    Stamina: Those who have experience riding blue trail in Timberland multiply that with long hours (up to 6-8 Hours). Its not a race but endurance is required due riding under the heat of the sun.

    Difficulty: RAW Trails (Medium to Advanced Trails)

    halos ganyan din ang bike-commute ko araw-araw, ok naman. saging and lots of water ang epektib para sa akin.....
