Seasonic PSU users pasok.....

  sumuko na ako mag pa RMA ng seasonic prime ko.
  
  Helix - they said hindi daw sa kanila yung PSU
  JTPhotoworld - same hindi rin daw sa kanila
  JCT xtremetech - no response.. lol
  
  parang ayaw ko na tuloy mag seasonic.

  Many years ago I was able to purchase the Seasonic SS-350ES directly from Helix through e-mail correspondence and bank deposits, and the PSU was delivered by courier. The SS-350ES was never sold in retail, and the closest retail model would be the ECO 400w.
  I used them when building desktop PCs for clients and only bought one unit at a time.
  
  One is part of an Athlon II X2 240 office PC happily chugging along in a QC office 8 to 9 hours from Monday to Friday for the past decade. :D
  
  I don't know if this method of purchasing is still possible though, but I don't see any possible issue TBH.

  May nagbebenta rin yata from Helix sa L*z*d*. Mas mababa sa retail shops yung pricing niya na may kahalong Fractal Design na lumang model ng cases and Helix rin yung distro. Sa tingin ko mga sobrang stocks na hindi inorder ng mga retailers.
  
  Same din sa distro ng Thermaltake/Silverstone. Malaki rin price difference specially sa casing compared sa retailers and maraming SKU na binebenta na wala sa local retailers.

  Mga sir may nka experience ba sa inyo na walang sata/molex power ung Seasonic GX-750 nyo? Ano po pwede gawin? Na try ko gamitin ung lumang power supply ko nagana pa nman ung HDD/SSD.

  EDIT: kahit ano po bang locally available na 24pin extension cable ay compatible sa FX 650?
  
  napasansin ko kasi na minsan napuputol yung flow ng kuryente sa board ko tapos kapag ginalaw ko yung 24pin cable at certain angles namamatay at sumisindi naman ulit yung pc. Na-check ko na yung mismong port ng motherboard pero mukhang hindi naman maluwag kasi. naisip ko steady nalang yung original 24pin cable tapos yung extension nalang ang ilaylay para less stress sa 24pin port ng board. TIA

  Ihohonor kaya ng local distro ang owltech seasonic PSU? May balak kasi ako bilhan, nabili niya daw sa gilmore yung psu at may owltech box. Not sure kung galing local distro. Wala kasing receipt kaya medyo nagaalangan ako.

  Pag nagpa warranty ba sa dynaquest ng m12ii-620w, need ful packaging or kahit unit without the cables nalang ang ipadala? Ilang linggo na kasing low voltage output eh, july lang nabili.

  Low voltage output? Are you using software to monitor or are you using a multimeter to measure voltage output?
  
  Unstable ba ang performance? O wala naman performance issues?
  
  If you're using software to monitor and wala namang instability issues (random restarts, hangs, bsod, etc), forget it. Get a multimeter and use that to measure voltage output muna or else mapapahiya ka lang sa pag-RMA.
  
  But if you're using a multimeter to measure voltage output, mababa ang readings, and may instability issues, then by all means insist on getting a RMA.

  Pasok sa distro warranty ni Helix yung s12II-620W ko yehey. Kaso wala daw sila stock. Outright replacement agad ba sila? hindi nila ita-try i-repair?
  
  Binabalak kong i-repair yung enermax modu87+ 700W ko. Kelangan ko lang proper tools. hehe

  RMA Experience ko with JT Photoworld, Inc. for my Seasonic 650w FX Focus Plus Gold (10 year warranty), which died on me after around 2 years of service. At first I really had difficulty in knowing which distro to go, but through email, Helix directed me to JT Photoworld as my psu serial number is not with them and gave me this email add: [email protected]. In fairness, nag-reply ang JT Photo agad. I just needed proof of purchase and ship my defective psu to this address:

  The process took for a while around a month and a half, and I had to do several follow-ups. They gave me a new unit of the same model, Seasonic 650w FX Focus Plus Gold, but walang seasonic box at mga accessories since wala din akong pina-ship na box at accessories as they said hindi kailangan.

  Hi, meron po akong Focus GX-550 80+Gold psu. PC is Ryzen 3600 with RTX 2060 Super. Ok lng po ba ikabit yung PC sa Servo type AVR with 1000watts?
  
  Since walang Grounding ung electrical outlets namin, useless din ung AVR and Surge Protection power strips?

  Servo-type 1000 watt AVR should be fine for that setup.
  
  The function of an AVR is completely independent of a ground (doesn't matter if there's a ground or not). For surge suppressors, their ability to absorb spikes (rated in joules) will be decreased without a ground but will still function. It will depend on exact nature of which lines are protected (line-line, line-neutral, line-ground, etc). As long as you have L-L/L-N you'll have some surge protection but without a ground the L-G protection will not function. If your wall socket doesn't have a ground and you really like to have one you can always jury-rig a ground using wire and a grounding rod buried in earth (assuming you're not in a condo).

  Common brand naman ang Meiji so most likely matino yan (compared sa mga cheap talaga na AVRs), pero try backreading for feedback / anecdotes about specific brands ng AVR.

  Try mo din Akari brand meron ako servo type din 1000w. Ito yung model, AVR-SVH 1000. Around 3 years na... Sa SM ko po nabili...

  May nabili ako ngayon na seasonic px 850, for 8k. Ayos diba? Sealed at brandnew, napanalunan daw nung may ari sa raffle. Sealed talaga, ako pa mismo pilas ng plastic para ma check. No receipt nga lang. Mag kaka problema kaya ako sa warranty or product registration nito

  nagpa RMA ako today 12/1/20 ng seasonic 1050w snow silent platinum 80+ ang masaklap kay JTP pa ko natapat hnd daw kay HELIX.
  kay JDM Store ko nakuha unit ko 2017 pa.
  ilang buwan kaya bibilangin ko bago mka kuha ng rma kay JTP?
  
  bumili muna ko ng mejo low quality psu 80+ pra mgamit ko man lng unit ko habang iniintay pa seasonic
  i5 9400 , gtx 1080ti, 16gb 266mhz , h310-m5 mboard.

  @bk_1on1, natagalan yung sa akin dahil I am from Cebu at dahil sa pandemic, so 6 weeks was kind of understandable. If you are in Manila, then I do not think matagal sya. Outright palit sila ng unit.... You may also inform Seasonic Taiwan thru their website if talagang matagal... sa akin kasi Seasonic Taiwan somehow assisted me on my RMA claims sa JT Photoworld, Inc.
