Good on Seasonic for doing this. That's going to be a neater solution compared to using the 12VHPWR adapter that will come with the 4090/4080 cards for those who will be using pre-ATX 3.0 PSUs with these new cards. I did notice that the cable that Seasonic will provide is a 12+4 pin to 2x 8 pin cable.
From what I've seen on the internet, a number of factory overclocked 4090 models will have bundled 12+4 pin to 3x 8 pin adapters probably for additional extreme OC headroom.

Has anyone tried running a 5900x (undervolted) and a 3080 on a focus GX-750?
The card is a zotac trinity with 2x 8pin pcie connectors.
Kailangan ko ba talaga mag upgrade to run that card?
Thinking of buying it from a friend kasi and di ko alam if kakayanin ng focus gx-750.
I'm currently running a 5900x and a TUF 3070ti with no issues. Kaso online iba iba ang opinion. -
Goodmorning mga sir mag tatanong lang bago bumili ng psu ano pinag kaiba or mas latest sa dalawa PX or Standard PRIME Platinum?

GX/PX/TX are the later models which superseded the standard Prime and Prime Ultra lines with a more relaxed OCP.

Nakapag request na ako ng 12VHPWR cable sa Seasonic website. End of the month daw sila mag-uumpisa mag ship out.
Nagtataka lang ako na rated 600W yung 12VHPWR cable ng Seasonic pero dalawang 8-pin connector lang siya kumpara sa adapter na provided ng Nvidia na either 3x 8-pin (450W) or 4x 8-pin (600W).

Nag request ako kay Helix kaso no update yet sa kanila. Seasonic needs both your PSU and GPU proof of purchase, tama? I tried asking from them but my GPU has not arrived yet so I will have to wait kung sa website mismo,

Kailangan lang yung picture nung label ng mismong PSU at yung proof of purchase ng GPU. Online ko inorder yung GPU kaya screenshot lang nung order confirmation ang inupload ko sa form. After several minutes, may email confirmation akong natanggap tapos eventually, may email notification ulit na approved yung request ko.

^Sa Helix pwede kahit walang receipt. Check lang nila serial kung under warranty pa.

matanong ko lang, I own a GX650watt psu bought in 2020, i bought a new 3080 gpu, nagshushutdown completely as in no power then nag rerestart bigla un gpu when playing games. Ive read that this is an issue with transient spikes parang overload protection ng psu? my issue with this is the 3080 is only paired with a 3600@ stock and a 16gb ram, undervolted pa si 3080. I contacted JT to inquire about RMA, they want me to send the unit to check problem is I also use the unit for work so wala ako spare na magagamit if ever. question ko lang icocover ba ng RMA ung issue na to baka kasi hindi sayang ung effort magbaklas at ipadala to check. thanks po sa makakasagot

I think the PSU may not be the issue. A 750W PSU should have been considered. Pag sa ganyang kataas ng GPU mo, eh malakas ng higop. -
@kelkun01: you contacted them for rma inquiries and ang response nila is ipadala mo yung card mo for them to check... pero dahil sa gamit mo sa work eh no can do...
depending on the nature of your work eh you can ask them if ever kung pwedeng may service unit silang pwedeng ipahiram pansamantala?... or dapat equivalent ng power ng 3080... i hindi naman needed na equivalent eh baka may mahiraman ka ng gpu?...
unless may mahiraman ka ng psu na mas mataas ang wattage kaysa sa meron ka ngayon... para ma test kung yung psu nga talaga ang problem...
otherwise... balik tayo doon sa options na sinabi ni jt... -

Good day mga sirs! anyone here is familiar with a shop named GTEK computers? I bought a seasonic Core GC-550 from their shopee store. in the last week of Oct. 2022, suddenly died after a month of usage. Pinadala ko sa kanila for RMA in the first week of December 2022. and after almost 3 months of processing sabi nila ipapadala na daw ni seasonic yung replacement unit, then after a few days na follow up ko, sabi nagkagulo daw yung sched nila dahil holdiays. since posting this it's been a week now na di na sila nag rereply sa mga queries ko. now, not only have I paid in full and for shipping they also have my PSU!

nagkaproblem pc ko nung nagupgrade ako to 3080 from dual/sli 1080p. nagblablank screen. dami ko natry na workaround pero wala pa din, nagblablank screen talaga lalo na pag mataas na power draw. tinanggal ko phanteks cable extensions ko, nawala na issue. sayang yung cables kasi black red at ininmport ko pa dati sa amazon kaso di ko naman magamit ang pc ko so no choice. bakit kaya yung iba eh di naman nagkakaissue pero itong phanteks cables eh may issue? manipis siguro wires nito.

kaya nagtataka ako bakit nagkakaproblema eh 1,300 watts naman at kakakuha ko pa lang ng psu ng Feb 2020. nagloko after 3 years yung seasonic 1,200 watts platinum kaya pinalitan nila ng prime 1,300 watts.

Ang sabe ng mga iba sa forums, less likely na hindi cables/wire ang problema. Kadalasan sa connectors.

@lucas03: have you tried other brands' extension cables aside sa phanteks?... may mga local seller tayo sa ratsada at shakee na 18AWG ang gamit na wire at maganda reviews... some are also selling reputable brands...

newbie question po, sorry hindi ko maphrase ng maayos kay pareng google.
doable po ba na kapag WFH tasks ang gagawin ko, iplug ko yung hdmi sa onboard. and when im gaming, plug ko sa GPU.
naisip ko lang kasi baka makasave ng kuryente kapag ganon.
or need ko pang i-unplug ko yun 8 pin sa GPU, bago ako kumabit sa onboard.
ganito kasi, weekday 2 jobs ko na WFH. tapos weekend plan ko mag gaming.

Hi, baka may makatulong sa seasonic SSR-650GB3 S12 III 650 watts ko.
Tumawag ako sa helix hindi daw sila and distro ng Seasonic ko.
May binigay sila sakin isa pang distro pero PC parts shops lang daw ang kinakausap nila sa bwisit ko nakalimutan ko J something.
nabili ko sa cybertech yung sakin nitong late august lang.
Hindi nila mabigay name ng distributor kahit for peace of mind lang. -
