  • My HTPC setup
    Samsung series 6 55inch
    Onkyo HTRC360
    Kef soundbar
    Kef C4

    Changed psu to enermax 550w








    also works as my gaming HTPC using xbox wired xbox 360 controller and razer onza, alot better graphics than my ps3

  • HTPC for my Living area, using Dell Optiplex SFF Core2Quad with 2mb ram only, tried playing a 54GB movie file 1080p on the on-board intel graphics runs smoothly, pero sayang yun spare Ati 6570 ko galing sa old PC kaya kinabit ko na rin...

    iba po ba yung signal dyan satin kaya ayaw gumana? yung sakin, sobra 2 yrs ko nang ginagamit (hdhomerun prime) kaya tagal ko nang nabawi at nakakatipid kasi di ko na kelangan ng dvr :D

    - Philips DVD Player/Amplifier, 5.1 channel
    - DIY HTPC, custom plexiglass case, very small size: L=11.5\" W=8\" H=5\"
    - No mouse & keyboard, controlled via android cfon or tablet
    - DIY home theater wall & cabinet
    - All wirings concealed behind wall and cabinet
    - Subwoofer concealed inside cabinet
    - (DIY plant pot holder)

  • guys suggest naman kayo ng slim htpc case for matx na kasya ang asus gtx960 strix. yung available rin sa local market.

    Mahirap yata maghanap ng slim case for a standard profile video card bro. Lalo na sa Pinas. Your best bet is a standard matx casing talaga. Unless you have the option to order abroad.

  • Hi guys, magtatanong lang. Baguhan lang ako sa pag-buo ng HTPC. Magpapa-advice lang.

    Bali ang pagkaka-intindi ko sa setup ko eh, meron ako PC, tapos para makapag-output sya ng 5.1, kelangan ko mag optical out sa home theater? Tama po ba?
  • UPDATE: i chose this Silverstone SST-LC16B-M (VFD + Remote controller) dahil sa magandang graphic equalizer nya built-in sa casing :)

    it's a VFD: vacuum fluorescent display , which is good enough for me
    ang mga bago ngayon is using 5 inches colored LCD (ang mamahal, hehe)

    my speaker is a Philips 2.1 soundbar right on front of LED TV Monitor (it's black so it's not easily seen)

    found a place in my room and got a blu-ray drive, so 1 last item is a good vid card na lang probably gtx 1080
