  • At least hindi ko pa na-pindot sa [email protected]@[email protected] yung "proceed to check-out"

don't waste the perfect chance to get a quality at malinaw na cctv for security, useless sa mga pulis at tanod magreview ng footage pag malabo.

is there an IP Camera which I can attached directly to my router

  • @jay_soriano56, thanks again.

So I have to do this as a long-term project. So unahin ko yung DVR at seguro 2 outdoor cam.

My question is: Since most of the Hikvision na nakita ko is for 2mp lang, so kahit wired sila hindi pa rin maganda dahil 1080p lang sila? Tama?

Also not all DVRs are the same since some are only limited to 2mp cameras, right?

Can you suggest a DVR and 2 outdoor cams? How much should be my budget? I am incline for a lan cable than coaxial... but is coaxial better? Is it not that coaxial is analogue? On the other hand using lan cable is digital, right?
  • LAN Cabling is better, dahil most newer cameras are now digital, and the trend is to have more pixels, and better compression. H265 is the newer compression for more expensive digital IP Cameras, which will allow you to have more MP (5MP upwards) with less bandwidth requirements (so you can have more cameras within the network).

Analog coaxial is not bad too, but wiring/rewiring will be a pain. Pag naputol or may problem sa wiring, it will be a pain to replace lalo na pag in-wall ang installation... Plus there are limitations like noise, max resolution, etc... although, walang lag compared sa IP Camera (which will have lags depending on how fast the camera/network is).

As for 2MP only, I would suggest you invest in a good DVR that supports 5MP or higher with H265 support, and kahit na 2MP lang camera mo, you can buy a better one later and still use the old DVR... plus also plan if you want the DVR support 8 Cameras, 16, or more...
  • lipas na ang analog in this time and age..

    Is this NVR any good?
  • @nallas
I would suggest to stick with dahua and hikvision dvr/nvr
  • only Hikvision or Dahua I would use personally.

    sorry sugal mo na yan.

    Hikvision Colorvu
    Dahua Starlight
Pano kaya maayos sirs. Thanks po in advance
  • Good day Sir.

    Question about Synology Surveillance System:
Any issue encountered using Hikvision or Dahua ip cams?

Alin mas ok mga sir Hikvision Colorvu or Dahua Fullcolor cam.

    Thanks in advance.
  • Confused ako sa HIKVISION na may H265/H265 pro/H265 pro+ compression, tama ba intindi ko na hanggang 15-25fps lang yung recorded footage pag 1080p? or kaya hanggang 30fps?
  • tama ba intindi ko na hanggang 15-25fps lang

tama, what you see sa website at specifications modelo ng camera at DVR is what you get.

mga unang labas na 5 Megapixel CCTV ang supported ay 12 FPS lang. same din sa mga -HUHI DVR both DS at iDS Accusense. Mga bagong labas ngayun mainstream 2020 20 FPS.

nung inupgrade ko sa latest firmware ang DVR DS-7208HUHI may lumabas 20 FPS sa 5 Megapixel ko sa OSD menu ng camera, in-enable ko nag restart at bumalik lang din sa 12 FPS. so I guess it's a hardware limitation ng camera.

learn to live with it or wait another 2-3 years para maging mainstream ang 4K 30 FPS/60 FPS.

  • Mga bro, if I would go for a WIFI NVR (Dahua brand) would interference be an issue? There is no line of sight but the wall between has openings (windows-jalousies which are ofter times open na man). And the WIFI NVR has a 2x2 Mimo technology. The distance between the WIFI NVR and the camera are between 5 to 10 meters lang. Is this viable?

  • would interference be an issue?

  • need your point of view or feedback on this:

yung condo sa likod namin is nagtatapon ng kung anu ano, and some are very unsanitary/dangerous/health hazard items (like used diapers, plastic basket with plastic containers, panis na pagkain inside a plastic, items that can dent roof, etc)

    for reference to my question:

now what's the best brand/model/type of ip surveillance camera should i place in the black X in the pic?
camera/s will be placed in front of the house, on top of roof (most likely sa poste where the electricity line is also placed) so to have the better angle to record and catch what floor/s are doing it. The house is bungalow by the way, so the target placement of the cameras is 30 meters away from the condo, and the target floors are 20 meters to 50 meters high.

Now, purpose lang is to catch the floor kasi yun din ang suggestion ng building admin. Even the Barangay can't help us unless there's proof. Siguro, add on nalang kung kaya namin marecord sino yung nagtatapon, hindi naman in detail, but hindi rin necessary. So minimum requirement are:
    - clearly marecord kung anong floor (addon kung sino - if budget permits)
    - can clearly record even at night/dark
    - weather proof and durable camera

    thanks in advance.

  • @jay_soriano,

thank you sir. will check on those.

Tell the owner Cat6 is the future..
  • I know sir kaso minimum 300m hahatakan.

o may iba pa kayong masuggest?

    1mp 4 cam + dvr = 5k, or 2mp 4cam + dvr = 7k

    Thank you

generally NO, it doesn't work. it's not supported.

different brands, different implementations. say gumana sa no name generic made DVR it doesn't mean standard na siya gagana sa karamihan.

it is not a standard, mayroon Ethernet LAN port para duon, better solution bili ka proper 5G/4G/LTE router.

  • kapag 4k (8 MP) ang cctv camera at DVR, dapat ba 4k (3840 x 2160) monitor din ang gamit para makita yung linaw niya? o pwede na yung 2k (full HD 1920 x 1080)
  • it is not a standard, mayroon Ethernet LAN port para duon, better solution bili ka proper 5G/4G/LTE router.
