  • I've been using EZVIZ and ANRAN ip cams for over a year now.

Matibay both. Nahulog from 2nd floor yung anran pero gumagana pa rin haha.

ezviz has better quality-mas solid mas mabigat.
    anran is cheaper.
    both weatherproof.
video quality almost the same- mas lamang for me si anran pero onti lang. readable naman ang plate number ng kotse
    ezviz has better mobile app

  • Just got 2 Imou Bullet 2C 4MP, a Dahua brand for consumer IoT

I would have gotten Xiaomi CCTV, kaso walang outdoor CCTV si Xiaomi na 4MP.
Or I would have gotten TP-Link Tapo, kaso walang H.265 recording si Tapo.

Perks ni Imou Bullet 2C 4MP:
? Free 7 days Cloud Storage for a year plus one month. So bali for 13 month, your video recordings will stay on the cloud for 7 days - free.
? Cloud Storage is 1080p (H.265) na -- they just recently upgraded their service.
Puwede rin SD card lang or NVR. The price of the cloud storage is on par with the price of SD card / NVR. So very tempting ang Cloud Storage since hindi puwede sirain, unless alam nila credential mo.
? The camera's serial number can be bounded to your Imou account -- meaning, pag ninakaw yung camera, di nila magagamit, because it will ask for your account credential before they can use it.
? May native app din for Windows 10 64-bit
    ? ONVIF and RTSP compatible

    Cons:
? Since the newest update, nawala yung native 1440p resolution nya. So all recordings are 1080p na lang, but the image quality is still better than those 2MP CCTV. Baka glitch lang yung nawalang 1440p.
? Watching video footage sa Imou Life app is very glitchy, madalas maputol yung streaming. Unlike sa Xiaomi CCTV, very stable.

US kasi ang setup or basta ibang bansa. Madalang naman ganung uri ng bahay satin. 2 floor 60sqm house kasi. Asa first floor ko balak ilagay yung NVR box, then distributed sa buong bahay yung planned 6 turret type cameras.

Or may expert ba kayo kilala that can do the cabling for our house?
  • i had laborers do the carpentry, masonry, piping, moulding,
    routing and terminations ako gumawa
  • @blue_apple_pencil

Nagbutas pa ako ng wall to find the cavities and from the basement ceiling hinanap ko pa kung saan wall dadaan...
  • @rolandg
hmm, didn't think about routing the cable from the outside to reach inside... let me think about that.

  • emilbook
Naka dahua din ako wireless. pag ni view mo yan via app lang medyo hindi smooth at putolputol. dati yan din problem ko. lala na noong nag add pa ako ng additional camara. the only solution is the NVR nila.
  • for residential/personal use, ilang MP recommended nyo? and anong brand ang reliable ngayon?

meron din akong gustong tutukan ng CCTV na building sa likod namin since nagtatapon sila (just need proof for Barangay), will 4MP suffice? ang layo is 20-30 meters pataas
  • MP is good but the lens quality is more important para sakin. I have 2 MP ezviz and anran, 5 MP anran. Onti lang difference nitong dalawang brands mapa-2 or 5 MP. Both ay nasa 2k price. I think yung mas mahal mas maganda ang lens.
  • @songerph

thanks sa feedback. never considered lens of cctv, but I guess may correlation ang pricing ng cctv with the type of lens, similar to other devices..

so among the usual brands here in ph (hik, dahua), ano po bang ok ngayon, system wise?

Hikvision vs Dahua. Mukhang sila pinakasikat. OEM sa maraming brands.

Itong lodi vid haha linaw ng hikvision nya. yung metal casing daw na 5 MP.

    got it, 5MP pala dapat..

Those are the Top 1 and 2 pagdating sa CCTV. imho recommended pa rin sila.

thanks. so ideally NVR and poe switch should be same brand din no?
  • thanks. so ideally NVR and poe switch should be same brand din no?

NVR + Camera = same brand yes
    Poe switch = not needed
  • May project ako sa client ng employer ko (facial recognition), and they sent me 2 Hikvision IP dome cameras model ECI-D121F2... yung isa, brand new, wala pang configuration, pero yung isa, mukhang na setup na from SADP tool dahil may password, pero walang security questions.. Pinatanong ko sa client yung password, pero di daw niya alam, so naghanap ako sa web ng reset password options... since ok naman yung isang IP camera, yun ang ginagamit ko... most likely I can keep the camera once tapos na ang project, kaso useless yung isa dahil nga password protected... naghanap ako ng reset button, pero wala... sino dito ang may same model, and kung alam ninyo ang technique to reset it?
  • ano magandang security cam na hiindi pansinin

  • ano magandang security cam na hiindi pansinin

same question. tsaka yung direct sa cloud yung storage kung meron ganito.
plano ko is 1 or 2 IP cameras magkano kaya abot ang ganitong setup?
  • @rolandg

yung facial recognition proprietary program niyo paps? amazeballs.

Planning to use a Wifi Mesh na may LAN cable at ilagay near the NVR.

May naka experience na ba na gumana yung ganito?
  • what okay starter cctv sa kulang sa budget?
plan ko bumili standalone cctv w/sd card(2units cctv ) and once may extra nvr/dvr naman
  • For standalone CCTV, na puwede rin may NVR, you can get IMOU brand CCTV. Compatible sya sa Dahua NVR.

For SD Card, my SanDisk Max Endurance 128GB RAM has approx 2 months of recording data at 1440p resolution.

For indoor CCTV, puwede na ang 2MP (1080p). For outdoor, 4MP pataas, though puwede rin ang 1080p.
  • Post deleted #12419405

    <click here for link>

  • anong camera brand yan?

    salamat.
  • @clay005

If that is cloud based, then yes, kumakain ng bandwidth yan (upload) to store the video to the cloud even if you are not viewing it.

If you are viewing it via your local NVR or DVR through the Internet, then it will only consume bandwidth if you are watching it remotely.
