So far my tapo c310 naka mount sa bubong ko since January this year. Inabutan na ng summer and rainy season. Kahit tirik na araw at malakas hangin and ulan.Still up and running 24/7. Bare camera lang talaga. Few months nalang mag one year na siya.
  • Hi CCTV Experts!

Im interested in 2K 5MP System or 4K NVR System

Planning to replace our 8 y.o. Iwatchyou 720p lang. 3 cameras dead na

Any recommendations? I only know Rover and Openpinoy
  • Anyone here has an experience with Hanwha Vision Wisenet (Dome IP or Bullet IP camera)? Matibay at reliable ba?

Super mahal kasi ng Axis and Bosch can't stretch the budget for this.

We can't use Hikvision or Dahua due to certain reason primarily cybersecurity.

first NVR means Network Video Recorder. Its a purposed build recorder for IP cameras, as for the laggy na sinsabi mo, kung yung recorder mismo, hindi naman siya laggy but the maybe the camera is so kung gusto mo hindi laggy recording mo, make sure that you buy a high quality IP camera from reputable brands, hindi yung v380 or any junk similar to that, and if possible make every single IP camera connected via RJ45 LAN cable para smooth 25/30fps lagi yung capture nakukuha ng NVR mo, pag wifi kasi yan then its possible na magkaroon ng laggy/skipping recording hindi na maiiwasan yan.

also dont buy those wireless CCTV camera kit out there, those are pure junk.

Sa DVR naman, no choice ka kundi lahat ng camera mo eh connected using BNC wired connection kaya lagi smooth palagi recording niyan, kasi nga wired.

Analog cameras are sending signals direct to the DVR, Digital cameras seems laggy dahil may conversion/compression involved to convert the video to digital, compress the video, send to the NVR, which will then save it to storage. When monitoring the video, parang may lag dahil may delay ng 1 to 2 seconds sa display (due to the video conversion to digital)... vs viewing an analog camera sa DVR, the video being shown is raw video signal and not yet stored sa HDD.. the analog video is then converted sa DVR to a digital format...

Technically you are seeing some lags, pero digital video is superior sa analog video since digital videos (from a camera) can go higher resolutions like 8K, while analog cameras can only simulate high resolutions, but they are technically limited by the cable connection...

  • Thank you @polka and @rolandg

I think I'll stick to DVR. kala ko kasi no coversion na pag NVR.

Any recommendations for the cctv system? I'm looking at Rover, HIKvision and Iwatchyou. Yung 5MP full color with mic na.
  • tapo c310

yes, in the live view screen you can click on Grid view and you can add and view up to 4 cameras simultaneously.
  • ptz b yan?
  • ptz b yan?

Depende sa camera. C310 is not pan and tilt.
Yung C200, C210 and C500 may pan and tilt.

Pati kuryente ba ayaw rin niya pa connect kaya you're leaning on solar?
Not familiar with 4G CCTVs as long as may data naman yung sim card mo and you load it regularly it should work
  • pa-critique sana ng binabalak kong setup, 2 outdoor at 2 indoor for the mean time, tapos magdadagdag nalang kame in the near future like after 6mos-1year siguro.

(Like Co-axial etc...)
    2. Pwede bang 2 and TV/MONITOR para sa tig isa sa L1 and L2 ng bahay. tapos sa L2 ang pinaka server room.
    3. Recorded CCTV at Pwede i-view online sa Celfone.
    4. Total is about 4-5 Cameras ang nkapaligid sa bahay.

    Salamat po
(Like Co-axial etc...)

For NVR type CCTV (I highly recommend NVR na lang), get Pure Solid Copper CAT6 cable. If may nakita kang "CCA" sa box, meaning di yan pure copper, may alluminum yan, AVOID it at all cost para iwas sakit ulo.

While you're at it, mag abang ka na rin ng CAT6 cables for your WiFi Access Points for the router. Also CAT6 cable going to your TVs.
  • Nag construct po kami ng bahay 2-storey.

unang una depende sa budget NVR o DVR (Analog )

Medyo mas mahal ang NVR setup vs DVR

(Like Co-axial etc...)

    DVR-RG6 / NVR Cat6

    2. Pwede bang 2 and TV/MONITOR para sa tig isa sa L1 and L2 ng bahay. tapos sa L2 ang pinaka server room.

pwede gamit ka lang hdmi splitter

  • @ultra

So pati camera, kelangan palitan.

Either find the person who configured your system, or contact Hikvision to unbind all the devices including all the camera. You'll need to get all the Serial numbers and MAC address ng lahat ng devices.

<click here for link>
  • Hello po, noob here about cctv cameras, would appreciate getting inputs and suggestions from anyone here. After reading past messages, i think i prefer TP link cameras for my newly constructed 2-storey house.
  • Tapo are budget and user friendly. Most TAPO do not have H.256+ encoder.

Vigi are more expensive. Most VIGI are not WiFi ready and need to be wired. They are meant to be used with NVR but can also run solo.

Just make sure to look for 4MP (megapixels) na dapat para kita talaga mga muka ng tao.
  • Thank you sa inputs sir emilbook! Planning for 2 indoor at 4 outdoor cameras.
    - 8-Port PoE Switch (Check the specs, make sure enough to power all cameras)
    - Pure-Copper UTP/STP Cable (Huwag ka bibili ng CCA)
    - RJ45, Crimping Tool (if wala pa)
    - Hard Drive
