  Yes R series and Z series.. No wonder dami nagbebenta nito with "very low mileage", considering 2007-2009 models pa. hmmm..
  
  I'm leaning towards 1.8 civic MT for everyday car. Bilhan ko nalang ng magandang sapatos haha..

  based on some forums on Civics you are right on this... but this code only designate for Sedan Edition only, the Euro Hatch edtion designates FN (3 door) and FK (5 doors)

  You can't.. Asian 8th gen bodies are all the same. Yes rims, but you can rarely see anyone using stock for their old cars nowadays

  I was contemplating on getting a 2nd hand pero nung nakita ko yung BAIC M20 na less than P600K napaisip narin narin ako kasi naka ilang used na rin kami & in the long run di maaring di mag ka problema tapos halos sunod sunod pa. medyo research muna tungkol sa company ayun sila rin ang ,maker ng benz at hyundai at marami na rin silang stores sa ibang bansa, dito sa atin supported sila ng UMC. OK narin siguro sa 3yrs/100K na warranty nya. Napilit ni misis kasi sya ang gumagamit at nag papagawa hehehe

  medyo mahirap yun part na reliably makaka-assess kung hindi mo kakilala kasi yun workmanship nya at reliability ay hindi pa tested sa paningin mo. Wala kang first hadn experience.
  
  A good way to start is to get yun mga mechanic ng friends or family members mo. Atleast, you can blame them if sumablay hehe. Kidding aside, yun ang ginawa ko kasi wala pa ako kotse nun so ginawa ko ay sinama ko yun mechanic nung tropa ko. Nung ako di ako nagbigay dahil sabi nya pakain na lang daw. Which kinda looks like napamahal pa ako dahil sa piniling nilang kainan.

  Which is quite true... better kung meron kayo trusted mechanic, kasi meron naman sila good 3rd party advice kung kukunin or hinde...
  
  in the case ng sana kukuha ng 2007 Fortuner Gas... ang ginawa namin is pinadala namin sa kilala namin na mekaniko... his advice na wag mong kunin... 400k meron pang crack windshield.... =/
  
  at siya din kumukuha ng old cars namin kung binebenta na... yung AE100 bigbody at Galant 2.0, so far dun namin pinapadala for repairs

  aside sa cracked windshield, any other reason for the fort not being a good buy? presyong innova nalang kasi.

  good suggestion si sir.
  
  yearly maintenance ng revo would be around 1500 for yearly oil change (FS), plus 4000 for the yearly registration. we can remove the fuel cost kung i-compare natin sa rent a car dahil pareho mo lang sila gagastusan ng gasolina. problema pa yung breakdowns since matetengga yung auto for 11 months unless you or your mother can have someone to warm up/short trip the vehicle. the tires also need care, the fuel (lalo pag gas) would absorb water vapor if not used for a long time,
  
  pero older vehicles are resilient. very low maintenance ang revo. maybe in a few years' time your children would use it.

  xiao mi is a good brand. pero to prolong the unit, use a powerbank with pass through capability. bale use the dashcam without the internal battery, connect mo siya sa powerbank via usb cable, tapos si powerbank continually charged via car charger (or charged while in the office hehe). para auto-on si dashcam pagsaksak sa powerbank, tapos kung mamatay makina di damay dashcam dahil nakapower bank.

  Regarding sa paghahanap ng mekaniko, wala talaga akong nakuha, pero nakabili na ko nang kotse at ako nalang naginspect magisa. Ang ginawa ko self learning nalang, nag youtube ako buong araw at ang daming videos (tips) dun for buying a 2nd hand car. Happy naman ako sa nakuha ko, although may mga konting pagawain (2nd hand eh) pero tolerable at very minor nalang. :)
