Buying a 2nd hand car (Buy and Sell Offers strictly prohibited, FAQ on Page 1)

Agree on this one... andami pa rin nakikita na Revo sa daan, and also having a Revo LXV is still alive and roadworthy kahit deteriorated na yung plastic ng sa trims ng body niya at kulang rubber ends ng side step bars

  • anong variant for the revo ang marerecommend nyo?
  • vx240

wala ako nakikitang for sale nito. usually vx200 a/t
  • ^ search mo sa FB, Toyota Revo Shop and Shop group.
  • anong variant for the revo ang marerecommend nyo?

if you want gas variants go below from the year 2000, those are the 1.8 versions, VX200 suffers bad gas milage and probably toyota done badly on the engine choked to 2.0 (common reklamo ng VX200 users before)

if you find a good or pristine Revo LXV at priced nearly the same as older gas variants the better (you get an air purifier on the back seat area and be sure to replace the filter too...)

while diesel variants are mostly coveted due to the fact that has no ECU and after VX240 which is early relaeased D-4D Innova has a ECU
  • how about the GSX and SR variants?
  • how about the GSX and SR variants?

GSX uses 2.0 liter 1RZ-E engine.... not sure on the SR variants probably after the year 2000 using 2.0 liter engine

2.0 liter engine of revo has notorious complaint of bad gas consumption... I can't finalize it that either they made it incorrectly or it was a badly "tuned" engine
  • Post deleted #12267659
  • ^kahit yung 1.8 SR MT ganun din notorious sa gas consumption so my father decided to sell it.
  • how about the GSX and SR variants?

GSX and VX200 2.0 gas engine
SR up to 2001 uses 2.0, demoted sa 1.8 nung lumabas VX variant.
2.0 liter engine of revo has notorious complaint of bad gas consumption...

heard an a/t 2.0 user getting 4km/L, hehehe.

though ramdam mo yung hatak nya when going uphill while fully laden as compared sa 1.8L engine.
  • heard an a/t 2.0 user getting 4km/L, hehehe.

Assumerang frog tong revo. SUV consumption di naman SUV hehehehe
  • heard an a/t 2.0 user getting 4km/L, hehehe.

Pinaka worst is <5.xx km/l city driving. turned out marumi na yung throttle body.

  • ^

1.5k pesos is around 30 liters of Gas, meaning you are running at 2.5km/l, sobrang lakas sa gas sir
Even at 1k pesos Gas, less than 4km/l, sobrang lakas pa rin

Proper way of getting fuel economy..

Full tank, ipasagad mo, eto magiging baseline mo
travel, take note of your ODO kung ilang km na travel mo
pa full tank uli (2nd full tank), ipasagad mo uli, take note of number of liters na nakarga

Fuel Consumption = kms travelled / # of liters na pinakarga on 2nd full tank

Napakalakas niyan paps kung uubos ka ng 1k-1.5k.

Gas ko from Manila to San Juan Batangas balikan is 800 lang (around 240kms roundtrip). Including traffic pa yan sa Lipa.
