slight OT, ask lang po if need ba magpa clearance muna sa HPG / PNP bago mag proceed sa LTO for change of ownership ng car?
- hpg stencil and form, then bibigyan ka nila ng invoice na babayaran mo sa nearest landbank (ewan ko kung may ibang option na ngayon for payment)
- then present sa kanila yung receipt, tapos mag ffollow up ka if released na yung clearance
- then punta ka na sa lto para sa change of ownership process (ideally, sabay dapat to sa pagpaparehistro), or/cr/clearance and other normal docs pag nagpaparehistro yung dapat dala mo

Kapitbahay namin naka 2019 Altis.
Failed na yung CVT and sinisingil sila ni Toyota ng 400k para sa transmission replacement.
Sabi ko ilapit sa head office since casa maintained naman and mukang factory defect.

^ pag nakakabasa ako ng mga ganyan, wherein yung replacement parts ay presyong buong kotse na, naapreciate ko lalo yung mga older models ng toyota. naalala ko nakapag browse ako sa mga parts and madami binebentang surplus transmission ng vios, 1st to 2nd gen siguro, wala pang 50k.
sakit sa loob lang na kapag yung kotse mong wala pang 5yrs tapos ang cost ng pagpapagawa ay halos market price na din ng buong sasakyan mo.

brand new naman kasi ipapalit ni Toyota na transmission kaya ganun kamahal. since out of warranty na ang Altis ng kapitbahay nya, pwede magtingin sa surplus na mas makakamura sila.
pwede rin kausapin ang head office since early generation CVT yan ni Toyota galing kay Aisin.

Yes, mga ilaw bwan pa lang after nung 3 yr warranty kaya sabi ko ilapit sa Toyota Philippines eh. Malakas laban nila dyan. Kadismaya lang na may ganung issue. Surplus is around 100k daw sa napagtanungan nila.

Hello. Pardon me as its my first time selling a car acquired as brand new. I am still doing research and backreading pero I have some questions below.
1. As Seller do I need to get a HPG clearance? Hahanapin ba sa akin ni Buyer eto? I already have the original OR/CR
2. What to do sa CASA records at insurance? Mahaba pa warranty nung car.
3. Any tips para iwas scam at safety tips na ren?

no, cleared naman sa HPG yan. yung buyer na ang gagawa nun for transfer of ownership.
2. What to do sa CASA records at insurance? Mahaba pa warranty nung car.
alam ko transfer lang lahat sa new owner. maganda may casa record para mataas value.
3. Any tips para iwas scam at safety tips na ren?
sell it to your friends. yan yung safest for both parties.

kawawa yung person kung san nakapangalan pa yung unit in case gamitin sa krimen or mainvolve sa accident (hit and run) yung unit. mahirap itrace kasi yung CURRENT owner if puro open deed of sale

Kung resale value concern mo, kumuha ka ng brand new.
mataas ang resale value kaya mas mahal lalabas ang fortuner yet older model vs montero na mas later model ang ibig nya sabihin.

Kung mga 2015 Fortuner diesel, baka mahirapan ka pa makakuha sa 750-800k. Kasi price range is nasa 850-920k depende sa condition pa din.
Sa montero you can get 2015 ng around 750k siguro. Pero kung parehong model na 2015, I will go sa Fortuner yung VNT. Mas matagtag nga lang siya pero mas mataas resale value if planning to sell after ilan years.

Ok naman MUX pati ride comfort niya and matibay. Hindi lang ganun kaganda loob niya for me. Mas maganda din 3rd row seats niya kasi kapag naibaba mo same as Montero, ang luwag ng space and pantay sa flooring unlike ng sa Fortuner na nakasabit sa gilid.
