SQ wala akong makitang weakness. gaming or pure listening to music high and lows flawlessly works.
Just want to share my experience with hyperx headset I recently bought. It was the Hyperx Alpha and I'm very satisfied with it BUT it has 2 flaws IHMO.
First off, main issue sakin is hindi sya ganun ka komportable gamitin for long hours of use. Not sure if its a design flaw pero yung thickness kasi ng ear pads nya is medjo manipis. Don't get me wrong though, sobrang lambot ng memory foam cushions nya pero manipis kaya yung drivers eh tatama at tatama sa tenga mo which is masakit sa katagalan na gamit. Deal breaker is this, I contacted Hyperx about it sa main support page and magpapadala sila ng extra ear cushion pads na mas makapal FREE OF CHARGE. Walang hassle ang support nila basta nasayo ang receipt (I bought mine sa datablitz and they honored it). PANGALAWA, and could be a big issue sa iilan (including me), is that this headset has a CROSSTALK issue where yung audio output mo is naririnig ng kausap mo (tried it on discord and yung squad mates ko eh nagrereklamo kasi nag fefeedback sa kanila kung ano yung naririnig ko sa headset drivers. I tried to troubleshoot and I figured out na hindi ito dahil sa mic kasi kahit detached yung mic, nag bleed padin yung audio sa mic gain (checked via voicemeeter banana). Again I contacted hyperx about it just yesterday and we're already negotiating for a possible replacement (hassle lang to). Overall, audio quality is top notch due to its double chamber driver design. My ear is trained to listen to monitor headphones though na balanced but this is comparable to it. Hindi masyadong overpowered ang bass at treble. Mids could use some tweaking. I hooked it up sa audio interface ko (M-Audio fastrack and Line6 toneport UX2) which served as my DAC and it was just awesome!
All I can say is TOP NOTCH ang aftersales support nila and I would recommend Cloud Alpha anytime! Take note I just bought this 2 days ago. Used it for my work and gaming (mainly PUBG).
@montsch
Yeah para sa akin mas na pipinpoint ko kung saan nangggaling mga footsteps sa CS GO, unlike my Steelseries Sibera V2 Heat Orange before na sobra bassy. Tsaka well balanced talaga yung sounds, maganda mids.
I know madami may ayaw ng malakas na Bass, pero meron ba headset na kaya yung ear thumping bass pag linakasan yung bass?
Yung gamit ko parin kasi yung Roccat Kave 5.1 Analog and dami ko na tinry na ibang headset like the Logitech G633 and ang hina ng Bass and wala pang volume boost so mahina yung feedback kahit todo na lahat ng volume from all sources (using software like letasoft naman hindi compatible sa ibang games and distorted yung sound).
Any reccomendation will be greatly appreciated.
@romulo
^ Alpha dapat kung gusto mo nagba-vibrate yung earcups pag malakas ang bass :) Mine is plugged in sa audio interface ko which served as DAC. ayun, dagundong talaga haha.
Also, yung crosstalk issue daw eh possible na mawala by using a USB audio card.
Any feedback on these cheapo USB audio card?
Not much difference at all. Mic recording quality is slightly better on the SB Play 3 and the software of course with lots of features like surround, crystallizer, bass, and high gain option for 64-300 ohm headphones.

Astro A50 gen1 Battlefield 4 edition
dito tumatagal ako kahit isang araw akong mag games prang wala lang. solid bass mids and highs swabeng swabe. wlang sinabi ang arctis saka alpha sa lakas ng sound nito. kaya pinili ko yung arctis gamedac kasi may wireless na din ako. muntik na yung arctis wireless kunin ko. 5 years na nga pla sa akin since 2013. sound quality still the same nung unang kuha ko.
Tsaka ano masasabi niyo sa wireless headset for long term use? Nagtatagal ba ng 2 years na wala or minimal bawas sa battery life per charge?
got Astro A50 Gen1 for 5 years na. still the same battery life and sound quality, except sa rubber cover ng mic extension sinira ng humidity (mataas humidity ng singapore) kaya tumigas na tapos nabakbak.
