The G27Q is price around Php15,900 vs M27Q is around Php20,700 both being sold at a certain "D Blitzkrieg" store
They are about the same in specs beside the Refresh rate and the port at the back (M27Q having Type C port), or perhaps are the panel use that BIG of a difference?
If I bought the GP-G27Q-AP Variant, Will I be losing that much feature from not getting the GP-M27Q-AP istead?
@lexafar
my opinion kuya get the M27Q,additional yung type c input pwede kang mag input ng apple products if u have it ,plus mataas ang refresh rate 170 hz although hinde mahahalata ang difference ng 144hz and 170 hz na refresht rate, kung budget wise then get the lower model and cheaper 1 G27Q-AP 27" btw latest version og HDMI input is 2.1 running at 120hz @4K ,gigabyte is HDMI 2.0 version
HDMI 2.0 can handle up to 240 Hz when using 1080p resolution, 144 Hz when using 1440p resolution, and 60 Hz when using 4K resolution.
HDMI 2.1 cables can handle up to 120 Hz when using 4K resolution and 60 Hz when using 8K resolution. Lower resolutions than 4K can all handle up to 240 Hz when using an HDMI 2.1 cable.
Ah haha. I use the M27q P as my primary monitor. I don't like its IPS glow pansin talaga pag off angle, and lower response time compared to my 144hz TN panel when playing esports games like CS:GO.
Off angle? So no problem if viewing the monitor straight?
di naman experience breaking ang difference. nalalakihan ka ba sa 4.8k difference? ako oo haha.
check mo use case mo ng monitor based dyan sa comparison ng rtings review. may pics and descriptions sila para makita mo differences. (ps5, gray/black, sdr/hdr, reflection, text clarity, response time (for fast paced games), usb-c, speakers, kvm switch)

I'm not really into competitive high fps gaming, I mostly play JRPG, Turn-based RPG, Platformer, Rouge-like and Visual Story games. So I think that 144hz vs 170hz difference won't be that noticable in real time usage. Not to mention some of the games I play even caps at 60fps
And also, I plan to re-use my UGreen Display Port Cable from my current AOC 24G2 monitor for eventual new 1440p monitor

I never thought to go to rtings for comparison first. I just thought they do singular monitor reviews. Anyways, the "Our Verdict" kinda sums it up nicely but I did check their full comparison and I have to say, they are just about the same.
The pricing comparison US dollar is close enough that you can just get the M27q for a small price increase but here in PH the difference is a whopping 100$ (5,000) and YES, Nalalakihan din talaga ako sa price difference. Pwede na ako makabili decent Mechanical keyboard or a new Mouse with that. Haha.
I might opt for the cheaper 144hz variant at this point.
Also, I'm kinda eye-ing the HP x27q 144hz 1440p from the same said store too. Which is just P1,000 more expensive. Is that a better option perhaps? like build quality and panel use-wise?

Thank you so much for both your info Sir @RetiredGeNeRaL and @songerph
Closer ang specs ng x27q sa g27q so I would choose Gigabyte pa rin. The 1k could buy something else hehe
You have a point there. Mukhang talagang sa Gigabyte G27Q na ako. I wanna experience the 1440p goodness.
According to the rtings review of x27q there are two kinds of panel na gamit. Mas pangit daw yung isa. May chance na yung pangit makuha mo.
Well that sucks, highly possible yun mga bagong batch na binebenta ngayon puro pangit na yun panel na ginamit. Knowing na US variant =/= SEA variant. Thanks for the heads-up.
I still use the classic monitor with the longest name haha, viewsonic-vx2758-2kp-mhd. On par pa rin performance nya sa new IPS monitors. Mas onti nga lang features:
Any user here of Koorui monitors? How is it so far? Their Koorui 27E1Q with quad hd res, IPS panel and 144hz refresh rate not to mention a stand with adjustable height and swivel for less than 11.9k seems like a good deal. Also heard Koorui is a sub-brand of HKC?
^
Kailangan mo na ng liquid. Lagi kasi naka cover monitor ko pag hindi ko ginagamit kaya hindi ko pa na try yung mga liquid na pang linis. Iniisip ko rin glass cleaner kung pwede not sure
same kami ni songerph, Viewsonic VX2758-2KP-MHD still going strong! Added monitor mount lang. No issues ever since.
going strong! naka monitor arm din ako haha! north bayou
may full screen flickering issue pa rin at 144 Hz, Ultrafast or Advanced na response time. Naexperience ko sa image 2 sa reddit usapan below.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Monitors/comments/eyaa4k/if_you_own_a_viewsonic_vx27582kpmhd_please_read/
Naexperience ko rin flickering sa Monster Hunter (random places) and Snowrunner (main menu). Di ko na tinry yung fix na sinasabi sa reddit. Di naman nakakasira ng experience haha
Would like to seek for your help. I was mainly looking for a 4k monitor with a budget of ~20K php. I think it's the best upgrade path for me coming from a 21.5" 1080p dual monitor set-up. Would use it mainly for work, mostly excel and other office-related stuff then media consumption - youtube, movies, etc.
Anyone who has bought a Xitrix monitor? Not familiar with the brand but I am interested on their 28" 4K monitor. Spec-wise, it's really great!
Mga bros. Any user of Gigabyte G24F 165hz? or feedback na lang din. I'm planning to upgrade my son's monitor coming from 21inch 60hz. He will mainly use it for valorant and first person shooting game. I'm waiting for the yearend sale from ECpeyzee where they sell it for 4.9k that's almost 50% sale from the original SRP. Based on my research theirs a coil whine issue when using the monitor at 165hz. Aside from the annoying sound from the coil whine, may dapat pa bang ikabahala? If yes, anong masusuggest nyong 1080p IPS 144hz na nasa 10k budget?
yes , it is, youll notice it in FPS games, u came from 60 hz refresh rate? vertigo in 60hz in motion
should I settle for known brands like LG or Dell for 4k Monitor?
yup.im using lg c2 65" brand ,pop eye candy, pc or ps5 module
note: if youll use HDMI interface be sure that your cable is 4k @120hz capable,no problem using display port, although lg c2 has no display port input,in other tv/monitor brand , so you could maximize the refresh rate of your monitor if it is running @ 144 hz or above check your cable 1st ,will it run @ what refresh rate of your tv/or monitor, always check version of cable and version input or common display interface of tv/monitor . display port /hdmi,type c/thunderbolt etc..
