The LCD Monitors Thread: Tips, Tricks, Tweaks, New Products and Reviews

  • Kamusta naman sir ang performance ng LG OLED mo? torn ako between lg 27in oled or the ROG 27in oled. although wala pa akong idea kung kailan release ng sa asus, i might buy the LG instead because of its hdmi 2.1 port. ASUS PG27AQDM is brighter daw pero hindi ko sure kung gaano kalaki ang premium nito tapos hdmi 2.0 lang... although magaganda ang feature nya kasi may custom heatsink daw to combat image retention.

    Any thoughts guys?

I think matte yung LG but for me gagawin ko tong primary monitor at multiplayer ko(tryhard lol) habol ko is yung response time at input lag.

And kulang daw sa brightness to. Kung yung asus eh glossy and QD oled i think mas maganda and may heatsink ata yung asus.
  • ?

mas mataas daw ang brightness ng pg27aqdm kaso same matte coating lang din ng LG. first ever oled screen ko kasi ito, gusto ko sana malaman if i will be missing out kung walang hdmi 2.1 yung port for the price?
  • ^
    I think hdmi 2.0
  • ^
Im buying this for the HDR.

I think mapa display port or hdmi 2.0 eh mag wowork naman sa hdr. I think yung iba gusto ng hdmi 2.1 para ata sa ps5 4k setup not sure, pc kasi gamit ko kaya display port 1.4 gamit ko. Hindi ako gumagamit ng hdmi.
  • hi, ano po ba error sa display ko (gigabyte m27q)....may times na nag flifliker ng black for a moment..minsan portions ng screen....ano kaya 'to and remedy ?
  • @sethmartin

Na try mo na palitan ng cables? Or check mo yung cables kung maluwag?
  • @fakuryu:

For 30k more or less, ano po ma recommend mo ? Initial sa pinagpipilian ko is yung reco mo 1) 27" LG Ultragear 27GP850-P LED Nano IPS HDR400 - 25000php 2) 27" Gigabyte M27Q - 21500php.

LG 240hz oled hdr for multiplayer at alienware ultrawide oled hdr for single player. Happy kid na ako ;) hopefully tumagal kahit 3 years.

Turns out out of stock na daw sila. Went to d@tabliss, sa Lenovo mismo sa isang mall and other known pc suppliers, wala talaga stock. Ano ba ma reco nyo next best monitor compared to this?
  • Gigabyte M27Q pero mas mahal ata to.

    Check mo rin Viewsonic XG2705-2K
  • Thanks @songerph - if wala naman prob sa price, should I go for M27Q over G27Q-20?
  • @dyembuoy

If you can tolerate M27Q IPS glow then it's fine

ayos naman sya so far. nakuha ko yung G27Q-30 ko sa dat*****z sa sh***e ng 13.6k nitong January lang. nice upgrade coming from 1080p to 1440p, may HDR at 165hz pa. nice contrasts and deepest blacks dahil sa VA panel.

    @terabyte

Thank you bro. Same pala tayo, upgrade din ako from 1080p.
  • @windom99
np pre. G27Q-20 yung IPS equivalent nyan, priced around 18K, kaya lang laging out of stock sa mga online suking tindahan.
  • Very surprised that we still don't have the Gigabyte M27Q-X and the Asus PG27AQN yet but I've seen a couple of shops with the newest Asus 1440p OLED lol.
  • My Samsung C24FG70 does not display the OSD anymore. Even though you restart the PC. Tried attaching an LCD monitor 24 inch HDMI in my graphics card. It worked. So it means that the monitor is damaged.

Instead of having it repaired. I opted to buy a new one.

Recommend me a 1080p 27 inch monitor. 144Hz. Though 60 Hz is already ok with me. I only play at 1080p
  • Is Asus VG279QM good for gaming?
