  • Xiaomi bakit ngayon ka lang? Hahahaha!

Yung mga Xiaomi stores that also sell TV's might be able to add the monitor sa line-up nila.

I don't think yung mga small official Xiaomi resellers will be interested in selling this monitor kasi mostly focused sila on lifestyle gadgets like smartphones, tablets, smartwatches, smart speakers, Android TV box etc. Easier to sell and keep in stock.

Although meron mga Xiaomi resellers that have started selling laptops and gaming gear like yung Redmi Book, Mi Gaming Laptop, Shark phones and accessories. Since mga high end devices narin ito, kung malakas ang demand they might bring in the monitor as well.

What I would be interested is Xiaomi bringing in a small high refresh rate gaming monitor (17 - 21 inches) para sa mga gaming smartphones. So you can play your mobile games on a bigger screen running at 120Hz - 240Hz with a gamepad or mouse + keyboard. Would be good for gaming consoles too...

    Something like this...

sana maganda baalita dun sa specterpro mo.
  • Any reviews or comments po ba sa Philips 246E9QDSB?
    Reso: 1920x1080
    Screen Size: 23.6in
    Refresh Rater: 80Hz
    Response Time: 4ms
    Panel: IPS W-LED
    Input: HDMI, DVI, VGA

Looks promising for a budget monitor. Tempted to buy this one or yung long time favorite sa post na to na BenQ GW2480
  • @pinsala21

sana maganda baalita dun sa specterpro mo.

I'm hoping they just give me store credit instead.
  • @sleepygeepy

Naku sana nga, I've been holding off my monitor purchase, in my quest for value for money.

If i carry ni Xiaomi dito yan, seems like a good buy na.

    If yes, gaano ka mura?
  • @gowueld

I've seen several posts for BENQ, but don't expect too much price drop.
  • masters, help lang. using a Sony Bravia KLV-40EX400.

hindi kasi nagbabasa ng video clips from my USB drive. ni factory reset ko na, ganun parin. pictures lang nadedetect. though nakasulat naman sa manual is .avi, mpeg & mp4 files ang kaya basahin, ayaw parin.

pa help naman masters, thank you in advance!
I think it has something to do with the format.
  • @gr8guy

It could be na yung video clips are encoded in a different format na hindi kaya decode ng TV.

    - Xiaomi Mi Box
    - Amazon FireTV Stick 4K
    - Nvidia Shield
    - Minix Neo U1 or Neo U9-H (ito gamit ko now)
    - HiMedia Q5/Q10 Pro
    - tingin sa Android TV Box thread for recommendations

Mas malakas ang media decoding capabilities nila and can even play 4K HDR videos or sometimes very difficult to decode videos tulad ng anime na ginamitan ng .H265 or Hi10p etc. Another benefit din is pwede mo sila install ng Kodi which is a very nice media player interface.

  • Bought XG438Q to replace my PG348Q..

Still testing for now..Monitor is Gsync Compatible..

  • ^how to be you po

  • @odelllot

Hindi ka na UW sir? But ayos lang 43” 4k wow!
  • Where do you guys buy a monitor arm/stand? Space-eater din kasi stock stand ng PG248Q ko.
  • @vladz17

Hindi na sir. Mahal ng PG35VQ eh..Tapos andaming nagsosoli kasi may Flickering Issues..

So Ok na sa akin itong XG438Q..4K 120Hz HDR tapos Gsync Compatible..Only Downside eh VA Panel lang hindi IPS.

Pero in my eyes color is great. Almost as good as the PG348Q. No IPS Glow.

Masyadong madaming context switching. Here are my choices:

    1. Isa pa na SF350 - Hindi maganda ang color range nito TBH but it's ~6K brand new
    2. Nvision na 24 in - Curved to and wala akong makitang reviews regarding color reproduction/reliability. Hindi din beneficial sa akin ang curved.
    3. Cheap brand like nvision na larger size - Hindi ba ako mahihilo na may isa akong 24 tapos isang larger size?

    Any recommendations mga sir?
  • ^
Mas preferable same size monitor mo for aesthetics na rin
  • @sydmon

  • @oreo27

Simplest setup is to double-up on the Samsung S350. Regarding colors, kung kailangan mo ng accurate colors for your coding work then you probably need to buy a more expensive IPS monitor.

I don't recommend buying a bigger size monitor na same ang resolution. Medyo distracting kung mas malaki fonts ng 2nd screen and hindi mo ma-align yung windows mo properly from one screen to the other. Ok lang siguro if one screen is dedicated for your coding tools and yung second screen for email or browsing. Pero once you need to compare two sets of code side-by-side (one on each monitor) mahirap kung mas malaki yung isang screen kasi hindi mo mapagtabi line by line.

Ideally mas maganda if you upgrade to a 1440p monitor para mas madami ka makita na lines of code vertically pero may kamahalan din ang 1440p monitor.
  • @sleepygeepy

Very valid points.

Mas marami ako screen real estate pag ganoon versus 2 x 24 diba?

Oh well. SF350 it is.

Edit 3- Only at 30Hz though so nope. SF350 na talaga.
