Ano magandang software para makapag print pa isa isa ng ticket sa captive portal ng pfsense?

Hi guys, i have pentium 4 unit but working pa, balak ko sya i-pf sense
ngayon ang prob ko hindi madetect yung bootable usb ko
try ko sana thru cd rom kaso wala na akong cd rom. -

pfsense is long discontinued on 32bit processors (majority of the pentium 4 are 32bit), and since you cant even boot through USB, I assume that the motherboard is just too old (worst a sdram skt478 motherboard).
and dont even bother on that hardware, not only its slow and runs hot, it also consumes a lot of power. 120watts at idle and 170watts at full load, lol no thanks. -

Mga boss ano mas recommended hardware for pfsense? Meron kasi distributor ng netgate appliance dito sa QC area pero a bit pricey or assemble na lang ako ng budget clone pc? For SME use po mga 20-50 users sa office

ask ko lang bakit yung mga ibang device hindi maka connect sa captive portal? hindi lumalabas yung login page kaya minsan need ko bypass inaad ko na lang mac address nila. -
^it should redirect, try mo using iPhone, pag connect mo pa lang may lalabas na agad na miniweb ipapakita yung captive portal.
else, android I think can also do the same thing with iOS (it detects captive portal).
sa windows, windows 7/8/10 meron captive portal detection din (may lalabas na notification).
the reason why it wont appear is probably SSL websites.

you can buy this:
- HP thin client T610 (it only had 1 gigabit ethernet connection, but a VLAN capable switch can easily fix that)
- TPlink SG105e
both of it will cost around 3k pesos I think? you can easily buy those in gilmore. power consumption wise, its heaven sent, most of the time its under 9watts (measured using a firefly watt meter) including the managed switch with all 5 ports used.

sir followup question ask ko na rin bakit kakakonek lang ng guest lumalabas agad already connected? nag try ako magbasa sa forum bug ba talaga? napansin ko lang to kahapon ngaun madalas na. -
^ano ba setup mo, maybe pfsense is not properly getting the wifi client information properly, due to extra nat (eg repeater, another router after pfsense).
pfsense authenticates users based on MAC and IP. -
pag nakabridge mode yung pldt router anong wan set up ng pfsense dapat?

sir ask ko lang kung may issue kau kay pfblocker tsaka yahoomail, kapag naka on pfblocker hindi makapasok si yahoomail kahit naka whitelist na sya pfsense version ko 2.4.4 p2, pfblocker 2.2.51_21 -
sorry gamit ko lang si pfblocker as geobloker, as dns firewall nope I dont use it at all (1, it uses too much ram for my dns firewall needs 1.5gb ram usage alone with that dns firewall is no fun and the flexibility is not that good), I use nxfilter because it works really well, napaka flexible DNS server kasi ng nxfilter, it works well with AD and it has policy based website blocking.
If that happens to me, just use the top 100 alexa website so just in case hindi ma accident block yung legit sites. -

surreal feeling napasyal ulit ako sa tpc and napunta sa thread na to. nasa page 1 pa rin pala yung tuts ko :)
medyo obsolete na yun pfsense 2.0RC pa sya and written 2011 pa. pero yung mismo box na yun gamit ko pa din, continuous upgraded to latest ver and with with some tweak lang. pero same config pa din yung box.

using 15mbps DSL connection
to achieve 3mbps at 5mbps sa selected IP address
anong value ang nilalagay nyo sa bandwidth up at bandwidth down, given na kahit 15mbps ka ang upload kay PLDT wala pang 1mbps.

that is user input and decision. Depende sa gagamit at anong klasi ang trabaho usually sa IT dept walang limit.hehehehe
pero kung ganan kababa ang upload speed... unlimited mo na lang... -

Is a dual core Atom ITX board like the Intel D525MW fast enough for pfsense?

Hey, guys.
Does anyone have any idea of an affordable hardware (fan-less if possible) to run my Sophos UTM? Right now it's running on a used laptop (Intel core i3 4th gen, 4GB memory). Yung comparable lang sana yung specs or higher. Currently I use an ethernet to USB adapter. I would like to have (at least) two NIC's pre-installed in them preferably Intel.
Sorry if this is out of topic (pls do let me know) but the question really lies to hardware which I think will also be applicable to pfsense. -

for NAT only task, it can manage to get around 300mbps throughput.
with IDPS I think 100mbps is safe.

Tanong ko lang. Meron ba sa gilmore or malapit na physical store na nag carry ng fanless appliance na pede gamitin for Pfsense. Sa Lazada ako nakakakita pero would prefer physical store for peace of mind in terms of warranty. Salamat

^I can recommend you to local and official distributor netgate hardware sa pinas, since mahal din naman yung mga binebenta nilang mga made in china hardware network appliance mas maganda mag netgate ka na lang.
in facebook alone, maraming nagbebenta ng ganyan na made in taiwan daw kuno pero usually lahat made in china yun kasi nahahanap ko yung exact hardware sa alibaba. presyuhan nila is around 35k, leche, nasa 37k lang yan from official distributor ni netgate. nakamura ka nga ng 2k pero kamusta naman yung warranty.

Mahal ng Netgate for PFsense...
When i was working sa Saudi Arabia i asked for quotation for Netgate appliances na pwd PFsense, grabe presyo... change of plan ako. Bumili na lang ako sa Aliexpress... sulit naman.. 8 branch ang ginamitan ko nung nabili ko sa Aliexress and for 5 years wlaang problem naman... Processor nya ay celeron para sa mga branch at sa HO i3 ang kinuha ko ay i3... -

Good Day everyone! may question lang ako regarding sa pfsense, nakapldt kami then migrate sa converge kaya lang ang problem nya pagsaksak ko ng lan ng converge modem thru pfsense wala hindi madetect ano po kaya possible solution. Thank you
