  • nice!!!

  • Prepaid pa, galing ni smartbro.
  • magkano kaya ito? saka totoo kaya yung speed nito?
  • ang problema nito inconsistent and speed ng network ng smartbro lalo na sa umaga, yung prepaid smartbro ko sa madaling araw umaabot up to 3.6mbps or 360kb/sec and download, sa umaga babagsak ng 1mb minsan 512kbps ang average. On weekends malimit to...
  • sana lang walang cap to
  • talagang round off talaga para manloko. HSPA+ is found in the 3.75g wikipedia article, not in the 4g article

there\'s a good possibility. So far totally capless ang PLDT and Smart. Hindi congestionless but at least capless
  • SRP is 3,995. Gulp!

hindi naman siguro para mangloko. more for advertising ease. imagine trying to promote 3.75G..
in the same manner why not make up 3.90G or 3.95G?

what im trying to get at is these are technical terms that the layman will not look at or be interested in.
ang sakanila is, ano ba talaga \"speed\" niyan.
you sir are a technical person i presume. but not everyone is.

    well in anycase:

  • if actual talaga yun speed nyan kahit more than 5mbps basta ang download, bibili ako kaagad nyan, totally capless

im using globe 2mbps for the meantime
  • SRP is 3,995. Gulp!

HSPA+ Now “Officially” 4G According to ITU

Have you not seen this post at superstick thread? It\'s clear on the screenshot that globe uses HSPA+.

SMART Communications, Inc. has expanded its broadband portfolio with the new Smart Bro Rocket, a fast mobile broadband prepaid service running on the operator’s nationwide HSPA+ (Evolved High-Speed Packet Access) network.

Offered by Smart-subsidiary Smart Broadband, Inc. (SBI), the Rocket dongle “is the mobile broadband solution for subscribers whose usage and lifestyle require ultra-fast, strike-anywhere connectivity,” said Danilo Mojica, head of Smart’s Wireless Consumer Division.

Win US $500 cash in Sun.Star’s music video contest

The Rocket delivers speeds of up to 12Mbps and runs on Smart’s HSPA+ network – which is expanding to cover key areas in Metro Manila and more key cities in the Visayas and Mindanao.

The Rocket will be made available at P3,995 at selected Smart Stores nationwide starting Aug. 8, 2011.

The Rocket is the fastest sibling among the Smart Bro Plug-It iterations. The entry-level Starter Kit, which delivers speeds of up to 2Mbps while running on Smart’s nationwide 3G network, was recently launched by Smart at P995. The Power Plug-It, which sports a fresh and more user-friendly interface and can reach speeds of up to 3.6Mbps, is available at P1,245.

“The carefully designed Smart Bro device portfolio gives our subscribers the flexibility to choose the service that’s tailor-fit to their budget and usage pattern,” said Mojica.

The company said its device-driven strategy for the Smart Bro portfolio complements the massive network modernization effort which has resulted in “the fastest speeds observed among all mobile broadband service providers,” according to benchmark tests conducted recently by NESIC Philippines, Inc.

“What this means to all Smart Bro subscribers everywhere in the country is, quite simply, the best surfing experience possible,” Mojica said. (PR)
